I absolutely love the green glass shade on this pendant light. The color is rich and warm, and the textured glass gives the light a beautiful glow when it is turned on. The gold hardware pairs really well with the green and gives the fixture a slightly vintage look. I also like that the design is interesting without being too large or overwhelming. This is a gorgeous accent light that adds a lot of character to a room.

This is a great-looking pendant light with a nice balance of modern and industrial style. The hammered smoked glass has more character than plain clear glass and softens the exposed bulb without hiding it. The matte black hardware pairs well with the gray glass, making it an easy fit over a kitchen island, bar, or dining area.The adjustable cord is useful for getting the height right, especially with taller or sloped ceilings. It also uses a standard E26 bulb, so there are plenty of choices for brightness and color temperature. A warm Edison-style bulb works particularly well with the smoky glass.The only consideration is that the tinted shade naturally cuts down some brightness, so this is better for warm accent lighting or as part of a group than as the only light in a large room. Hanging this pendant light completely transformed the space, it's just what I've been looking for. The green hammered glass looks even better in person, catching the light beautifully and casting a warm, cozy glow around the room. The brass hardware has a nice finish that matches the vintage style without looking cheap or overly shiny.Installation was simple, and the wiring and mounting hardware were sturdy and easy to work with. The glass has a solid, heavy weight to it, and the textured pattern does a great job of softening the bulb brightness without dimming the room. I love the look of this smoky grey hammered glass pendant. I wish it came in a two pack though as it looks a bit too simple on its own to create a dramatic focal point.It does look absolutely beautiful installed. The subtle grey tint and hammered texture give off a gorgeous, warm glow when paired with an Edison bulb, creating a cozy and welcoming vibe. The seeded/hammered glass diffuses the light nicely and adds a subtle handcrafted feel that catches the light even during the day.The teardrop(bell) shape paired with the matte black hardware hits the sweet spot between modern minimalist and cozy industrial. Paired with a warm filament bulb, it creates a lovely patterned light effect on surrounding walls without being overly harsh on the eyes.Because of the subtle smoke/grey finish and exposed open glass bottom, dust and smudges show up pretty quickly. You'll need to wipe it down regularly to keep it looking pristine.Out of the box, the black hanging cord took some finesse to get it stuffed into my ceiling canopy for my chosen hanging height.A stylish, high-end looking pendant light as long as you don't mind a little routine dusting, it’s a wonderful addition to a hallway, kitchen island, or nook.

I'm currently remodeling my house, so it will probably be another few weeks before I'm able to install this pendant light. Even though I haven't installed it yet, my first impression is excellent.The green hammered glass is absolutely beautiful in person. The color is rich and eye-catching, and the textured finish gives it a unique, elegant look. It feels well made and looks even better in person than I expected.I also went through the installation instructions, and everything looks extremely easy and straightforward. The diagrams are clear, the wiring is labeled, and the instructions are spot on. It appears that installation should be quick and simple once I'm ready to put it up.Everything arrived in great condition and was packaged well. I'm really looking forward to seeing how the green glass looks once the light is installed and turned on.I'll update my review after the remodel is finished if anything changes, but based on the beautiful design, quality, and clear instructions, I'm very happy with it so far.

Super fast shipping! I was waiting for my electrician to install it before writing my review..The light arrived very well packed in sturdy foam, and most importantly, the glass survived shipping perfectly! I chose the pretty gray glass, which has a lovely ripple effect..I bought this to replace an integrated LED art-style fixture that stopped working after only three months-ugh. I specifically wanted something simpler this time, and this is basic on/off lighting with a replaceable bulb..My electrician just left after hanging it over my small dining room table. Truthfully, the size is probably better suited for hanging over a kitchen counter or island, but it works nicely in my space. The cord length is very generous, so there’s plenty of flexibility in how far down you want it to hang. Mine is installed from a 9’ foot ceiling and hangs right above my table.It came with everything needed for installation except the lightbulb, which I actually prefer since the bulb is really an individual style choice. I wanted to see the fixture installed before deciding what type of bulb would look best in it.Fast installation, lovely design, and the gray rippled glass is really pretty. Very happy with it!

Green is still a very popular color for shades. I don’t know why, but it is. I think it may relate to something, but they used to call green depression glass. I’m not sure of the manufacturer of the lights, but I guess that the green color gives it a warm lighting effect for your kitchen island or dining room experience.This fixture uses one E26 light socket, as you probably know; the E26 socket is a standard American light socket and the most common light socket in America. That’s been used for the last 120 years, with literally thousands of different bulb variations.The manufacturer recommends not using anything larger than a 40 W lightbulb because of the fixture's shape and the fact that it’s almost enclosed. They are concerned about heat buildup and ventilation. 40 W of LED light is a tremendous amount of light that’ll be enough for a kitchen, dining room, or bedroom if you choose to use it full at 40 W, and at that point it would be very bright.I have a 15 x 15 'small kitchen and recently upgraded the light that I had, which was a fluorescent sort of fixture that was more powerful and brighter than needed. It works when a lot of people are working in my kitchen helping prepare a large meal. However, I walk in by myself at 9 o’clock at night to get a bottle of beer and turn the light on. It’s enough to knock you over. It’s very bright.That fixture comes with a 50-inch black PVC wire, and it can be shortened to as little as 6 inches below the canopy or extended all the way to 450 inches down from the ceiling, which would be 4 feet down from the ceiling; that would be very low. So the first thing you should do is calculate the height you want this fixture to be at over the kitchen island or dining room. We’re going to install it and then adjust the wire length and tighten it up in the canopy so it stays that length.Next, disconnect the install plate in the bottom of the canopy install plate in the canopy is held either by two screws on the side of the canopy or by two decorative nuts on the front of the canopy, with screws going through the canopy to the install plate. Those are two configurations that manufacturers sometimes use. In any event, disconnect the install plate from the fixture. Next, there are three steps that I recommend you follow besides the manufacturer's directions before you do any electrical work.First, make sure you’ve turned off the power to the junction box you’re about to begin working on at the circuit breaker control panel box. And in most homes, the circuit breaker control box is located in the basement. The circuit breaker control box is located in the garage, particularly if they do not have a basement. The best way to determine which circuit breaker controls the particular junction box you’re going to work on is to turn on the light that is currently being used in that junction box and have a friend standby watching for you talking to you on a cell phone as you turn off circuit breakers in the basement of the home your friend will tell you when you turned off the correct circuit breaker and then flash it three or four times just to make sure you have the right oneSecond, because you’re dealing with the electrical installation, which can be dangerous to you and others, we recommend that you take an electrical test, a testing device, and test each and every one of the wires in the junction box to make certain that none of them are still energizedNext, it seems that people don’t know how to use wire lock nuts correctly. Once you have followed all the manufacturer's instructions with the install plate and throwing the wires through the install plate, remove perhaps half a centimeter of insulation from all three of the house service wires- the black, white, and green and do the same thing with the insulation from the fixture, the black, white, and possibly bare copper wire.Place the two black wires with the Tips facing the same direction adjacent to another and cover the tips with the wire lock nut and turn it clockwise until such time as a firm, mechanical and electrical connection has been established. Next, do the same thing with the white wire and then the green wire.I’m sure at this point, Tommy, you’ve already installed the install plate tightly into the junction box so you can now connect the canopy tightly to the junction box, and I’m assuming also that you adjusted the correct height of the cable and adjusted the cable inside the canopy to the right height; excess cable can also be pushed into the junction box. Close and tighten the canopy into the install plate of the junction box.Next, unscrew the install disk from the E26 socket that goes around the outside of the E26 socket. Now install the shade and reinstall the shade holder. Tighten the shade holder fully. Now install the E26 lightbulb, be quiet separately, and turn on the circuit breaker and local power switch.
