I am extremely pleased with this door knob. It is very well made, and the zinc alloy construction gives it a solid, substantial feel. It doesn't feel lightweight or cheaply made at all, and the mechanism operates smoothly.Installation was very easy and straightforward. Everything fit properly, and I was able to replace the existing knob without any unnecessary frustration or adjustments.The matte black finish is absolutely beautiful. The color is rich and even, and the vintage styling gives the door a much more elegant, finished appearance. It's amazing how something as simple as changing a door knob can upgrade the entire look of a room. It truly looks exquisite once installed.The privacy lock is also easy to operate and makes this a great choice for a bedroom, bathroom, office, or study.For the price, I think the quality and appearance are excellent. It looks and feels much more expensive than I expected.Beautiful finish, solid construction, easy installation, and excellent quality.

Elegant timeless and easy to install. When I saw this beautiful brushed bronze door knob I really fell in love. When I received it I was speechless. This is a beautifully designed and solid door knob. It was simply easy to install by removing the old door knob and slide this on right into place minimal time and effort was required. The door knob changed the entire look of the door. Such a simple DIY at a reasonable price. This is a quality door knob that was sturdier than the hollow one I replaced it with. The color and etch design is exquisite. Not only is it visual but you can feel the design. My sister came over and said where did you get such a lovely door knob. She's the one who told me about how touching it made her look at it much closer. All I could do was smile and point towards the website. There are different designs and colors to choose from and I plan to order more so that I have matching door knobs in my hallway. The interior side of the door locks easily by pressing the button at the top inward to lock one quick turn of the door knob and it unlocks and operates smoothly. This was such an easy DIY that elevated a simple door by changing out the door knob. I am so happy with my purchase and I can't wait to see all the doors with this timeless and elegant look.

I had to review these. Finally installing them and as a contractor I expected tinny cheap but decent looking handles. These are not that. They are solid handles thick plates very well made. They also have qualities of higher end lock sets with the Allen removal of handle to set plate screws and stop built onto shaft. I was extremely pleased and they work perfectly. I would highly recommend these locksets they are great.

Heavy weight door knob. Very attractive on the door but make sure you have the correct dimensions for the door hole and door thickness because we had to drill to make it fit. But I do like it alot.

If you find this review linked to a different product, please disregard the review.Full disclosure: I have not yet installed this doorknob because I don't yet own the house where I want it to be.But I absolutely love the look and feel of it! The design is gorgeous, even nicer IRL than in the pictures. And it's surprisingly heavy - it truly feels like a hand-crafted antique, the kind that's made with high quality materials and lasts for a lifetime. To me, there's something satisfying about the texture of it too. This is absolutely not the flimsy, poorly-finished door handles that most new homes have been built with over the past 50 years or so.The installation instructions are very clear, with plenty of tips and illustrations, so I expect no problems putting it into use. I'll have to get used to its little push-in lock; I've had trouble before with locking those accidentally as I'm leaving a room. But adding this to my home, where it so perfectly complements the other oil rubbed bronze fixtures, is worth a small sacrifice.The only small imperfections I've found are that the strike plate and and latch aren't the same color as the knob itself (they're more of a dark chrome tone), and the strike plate has ingrained lines that look like a minor manufacturing defect. I had a very hard time - exceptionally hard - removing the protective film over the strike plate and latch, so seeing this was disappointing. Again though, such a minor thing is nothing compared to the elegance and beauty of the parts that you actually see every day.
