This very unique outdoor floor lamp by Quankoach at 12 Watts and 3000K color temperature is not bright enough for reading by, but more for creating an ambiance or subtle evening mood out in the back yard, in my case our deck. The very modern boxy look and low height of nearly 17 inches makes a nice end table between chairs that you can set your drinks on. Installation is easy as long as you have a deck mounted electrical box right where you want to mount the lamp/makeshift table. There is a little mounting plate that bolts down to the deck right over top on the electrical outlet. The lamp then connects to the plate using 4 small screws. The housing for the lamp is strong with a nicely applied matte black/bronze textured paint and is marketed as stainless steel, so rusting is not a concern. The very unique look and the stainless steel housing justifies the price for a good value. The only odd thing is that the shape is not as advertised. They show rounded corners on the top. In reality, only one side is rounded, while the other side is squared off.
