I have been slowly turning my place into a high-tech sanctuary just for the fun of it, especially after having so much success putting in a new smart lighting system a while back. I ordered this Wi-Fi-connected climate controller to take my home automation hobby to the next level and finally get my heating and cooling tied into an app. It is incredibly satisfying to adjust the temperature without ever having to leave the couch during a lazy weekend movie marathon.The true usefulness of this device really became apparent after visiting a friend's house recently. They still have an old, clunky analog dial on their hallway wall, and seeing them have to manually fiddle with it just to get the room comfortable made me appreciate this modern upgrade so much more. Being able to easily set custom weekly schedules right from my phone screen is an absolute game-changer for saving energy and always walking into a perfectly chilled or heated room.The only real drawback is the physical exterior of the unit itself. Because it features a bright white matte finish with prominent physical push buttons, I suspect that it may get stained fast. If you ever bypass the app to adjust it manually while cooking or right after working on a hands-on project, those white buttons are definitely going to hold onto smudges, dirt, and fingerprints over time.

I’ve been really happy with this WiFi thermostat so far. It has a clean, simple look and the display is easy to read. I especially like being able to adjust the temperature from my phone instead of having to get up and walk over to the thermostat.The scheduling feature is extremely handy for keeping the house comfortable without constantly changing the temperature.The setup was pretty straightforward and fairly easy. Once everything was connected, using the app was simple.I appreciate having the option to change the temperature when I’m not near the thermostat and also when I’m away from home.Overall, I think this is a good option for a basic smart thermostat without spending a lot of money. For the price, this thermostat does what I need, and having the WiFi control is a nice convenience.

I have only done some basic testing with this and have not fully connected it to my hvac yet. It seems to be compatible with most units. Installation looks very straightforward. It supports wifi and setting up schedules. A low price smart thermostat for your hvac system. Hope it holds up after installation.

I got it for my basement. I do have other SmartLife compatible devices, but this is my first SmartLife / Tuya compatible thermostat. Not only these apps integrate nicely with Google Home, but they also allow you to create smart scenes where you can control other devices based on the changes in the status or hardware events of this device (e.g. shutoff water main if temperature in the basement falls below 40F). Integration with Google Home lets you control the thermostat with your voice from the phone or smart speaker. Another very usable feature is a child lock. You can lock the thermostat hardware buttons to prevent kids or even adults changing temperatures or heating / cooling modes or their programming. Programming done from the app is much faster than from the keypad.

This Wi-Fi thermostat is so amazing! We have been slowly turning everything in my house into a smart house and this was a great addition. It did take some work to set it up but I am so happy we did. I am now able to control my thermostat from anywhere. I can get the a/c turned on before I head home for the day so it will be nice and comfortable by the time I get home. It was easy to set up and the app is great to understand. It was compatible with my old thermostat and there were no issues with that. This is a very affordable Wi-Fi thermostat. I am very happy with it so far.

For what I needed, this thermostat is kind of the cat's ass. I have a single-zone house, so I didn't need anything overly complicated. I just wanted a good programmable thermostat with Wi-Fi that I could control from my phone, and this does exactly that.The app control is probably my favorite feature. I can adjust the temperature from anywhere in the house or check and change it when I'm away. It's simple, convenient, and works well for my setup.I also like having the choice between 7-day, 5-1-1, or non-programmable operation. I can set up a schedule if I want to, but I'm not forced into using features I don't need.For a straightforward single-zone heating system, this gives me everything I was looking for without making things unnecessarily complicated. Easy to use, convenient, and reasonably priced.Overall, I'm very happy with it. For my house and what I wanted it to do, it's pretty much perfect.
