I ordered this light fixture and it sat in shipping limbo for a bit before finally arriving. Honestly, the wait had me a little anxious, but when it showed up I was not disappointed. This thing is genuinely beautiful in person and the delay felt less frustrating once I saw what I was working with.One thing that surprised me right away was that each piece of glass is separate rather than being one solid unit. My first reaction was a little bit of shock, but once I thought about it, it actually makes a lot of sense. It protects the glass during shipping and probably makes it easier to handle during installation. The hammered texture on each piece is really lovely and you can tell care went into making them.Speaking of installation, that is my next hurdle. I have zero experience with electrical work and I will be honest, I am a little terrified. Not just about the wiring but about dropping one of those gorgeous glass pieces in the process. The fixture is 18 inches wide and has five separate glass shades, so there is definitely some careful maneuvering involved. I am planning to tackle it myself since waiting on someone else is not really an option right now. Fingers crossed it goes smoothly because this light deserves to be seen hanging up properly. I will be back with photos once it is installed because this one is too pretty not to share.

This is a really beautiful looking light. I love the size of it, and I love the look of it. It offers excellent illumination, but that also depends on what's light bulb to use for this!!Installing this is easy if you know what you're doing and you read instructions carefully!! I love the texture of the glass and the way it looks. And I'm also very happy with the fact that it was handcrafted in a way. Truly, this is a very elegant light. I love the gold that goes with this. It shines very beautifully!! I just want to say it is a little expensive for my liking. But overall, I like the product!!
