This is a cool knife! It comes with a little zipper case for storage. The blade is sharp, flips out easily, and locks into place with a frame lock mechanism. The handle of the knife has a matte feel to it, making it no-slip as advertised. The pocket clip seems pretty sturdy and is firm. My only problem with it is that it was almost too easy to flip the blade out. I could dislodge the blade from the handle just by firmly shaking the knife, without intentionally opening it. I got the sense that it has potential to open in your pocket while you're walking. I would say it's overpriced for is quality.

Absolutely love my new fidget spinner/knife. The quality is untouchable, absolutely perfectly balanced weight and smooth opening and closing. It took me a little practice to open and close smoothly but now I find myself flipping it open and close while in my car, very calming. It just instantly flips open with a firm push and flip of the wrist, remains firmly locked in place (not the slightest wobble), and then closes easily and safely with just a firm release of the locking trigger.The blade itself is thick and sharp and, again, sized and balanced well for single hand operation and use. My first real EDC knife that really feels comfortable carrying around in my pocket and keeping on me constantly. Its sandblasted steel and grey tone handle provide a gorgeous utilitarian look that has already sparked several conversations.Its price matches the quality and honestly feels and works like an EDC at twice the price so I am absolutely thrilled with this bargain.

Overall this is a nice knife considering the price. The fit and finish are good (with an exception I'll note below). I'm not a huge fan of gold or brass colored accents, but that's just personal taste - I know others like that. The belt clip and all the screws are a bright gold/brass color, contrasting with the gunmetal gray color of the handle.The clip is oriented for tip-up carry, and is not reversable, so if you prefer tip-down orientation you might look elsewhere. The action is smooth and easy to manipulate. The blade comes extremely sharp from the factory, and is not marked as to blade material (the listing claims 14C28N steel). The knife comes well oiled as well, and includes a zippered storage case (not a sheath), a small polishing cloth, a care and maintenance pamphlet, and a lifetime warranty card with serial number. The quality is on par with other imported knives I've seen in this price range.The one caveat to be aware of, at least with mine, is that the liner lock does not engage fully with a less than aggressive flip to open. Most knives have a spring tension that takes over as the blade nears the locking position and helps snap the blade fully open. This one does not, so BE ABSOLUTELY SURE the blade is snapped all the way open and fully engages the liner lock before using the knife! Several times the blade stopped with a muted "click" but the blade was not fully locked and easily folded under slight pressure. When the liner lock engages you'll get a more substantial click and then the blade is firmly locked, but if you're in a hurry and not paying attention, it could be a hazard. This could potentially be worked out with break-in, cleaning/lubrication, and screw tension adjustment, but there's really no binding as it is - in fact the action is quite smooth. Hence the 1 star deduction, otherwise this is a nice knife for the price paid.

This is a good quality folding pocket knife made of stainless steel with a sand-blasted steel handle and a removeable gold pocket clip. The blade is 3.35" long and the total length of the knife when opened is almost 8". The blade is very sharp. Easy to open, locks in place and to close it you have to put your thumb on the indent in the handle below the blade and slightly pull it open. I couldn't figure out how to close it, but my husband knew how so it's a guy thing. He loves it and I think most men would. He likes that it has a pocket clip. The knife is very sturdy and hefty and nice looking. It comes boxed with a thick zippered case with a use and mainenance pamphlet and cleaning cloth. The back of the pamphlet says it's Damascus steel and mentions the pattern on that type of steel, but this blade is not Damascus steel. Makes a nice gift.

This is a well-design, extremely good-looking knife. The sandblasted finish is very attractive, but not quite without flaws. The opening, closing and locking mechanism is well executed and functions without any issue...butter smooth. The knife also comes lighted lubricated from the factory for functionality and protection. Finally, it comes with a decent case, warranty card, instructions and a microfiber cloth. All-in-all, this is a good knife for the price.What confuses me is that it comes off as a not-so-well-done collectors' or luxury knife. It's a great knife, but all the extras seem kind of off. Does anyone really expect a serialized warranty and authenticity card for a sub-$100 knife? Why is the warranty card printed with several spacing errors, combining random words together? The knife has a belt/pocket clip, but comes with a pocketed case...which is okay, but the case itself has a velvet-ish interior and wraparound zipper (meaning there's a huge hole when zipped closed) and feels somewhat cheap. I'm absolutely okay with a cheap case; it just seems weird to have a cheap case that tries to come off as 'deluxe.' The sandblasted finish has several flat, shiny spots...not really a problem, but still makes me scratch my head.Overall, this is a good knife. It comes sharp, doesn't dull easily with reasonable use and looks good. There's not really anything to dislike, but the flailing deluxe treatment comes off as awkward. Despite that, I would not hesitate to purchase one for friends and family.

Because I have purchased knives in the past that LOOKED just like this knife, for a much lower price, I was confused why this knife was more expensive. I can tell you now that I have it is because this knife is notably larger than the other knives, and far better quality. The blade operation is very smooth, the locking mechanism is secure but easy to release with one hand, the blade is thick, strong and sharp, though lacks serrations that I tend to prefer. It has a finger flipper to open the knife that at first is a bit difficult, but I am assuming that it just needs to wear in a bit. The knife comes with a fairly nice carry bag, but I'd rather pay 5 bucks less and not get the bag. While felt lined a nice quality, I have no idea who carries their knife in a satchel. but if that's your thing, do I have a deal for you....I'm very happy with this knife at this price. It's my new EDC, replacing an OTF automatic knife, and I didn't see that happening when I ordered. But the sharpness, quality and great fit in my pocket won me over in short order. Get you one of these!!!!

I just received this NOMAD folding knife, and my first impression was that it feels substantial. It's a little heavier than the knives I normally carry, but in a good way. The extra weight makes it feel solid, durable, and dependable in your hand.The blade arrived impressively sharp. Right out of the box it cleanly sliced through paper with ease, which is always one of my first tests.I also really like the minimalist skeletonized handle. The manufacturer describes it as an aesthetic feature, but I found it serves a practical purpose as well. When using the flipper tab to deploy the blade, my thumb naturally settles into the largest cutout in the handle, providing a very secure grip while flicking the knife open. It feels natural and gives excellent control during deployment.Unfortunately, the locking mechanism is where this knife loses significant points for me.I've never been a big fan of liner-lock designs where the side of the handle itself acts as a spring that must flex inward to lock the blade. Over the years I've owned knives where that spring gradually bent outward, resulting in incomplete lock engagement. That's not just inconvenient—it's a safety concern if the blade unexpectedly closes during use.After spending more time examining this knife, my concern unfortunately proved justified.When the blade first locks open, the liner only overlaps the blade tang by roughly 1 mm. If I manually push the liner farther inward with my thumb, it engages much more securely. In other words, the mechanism is capable of achieving a stronger lock, but it doesn't consistently do so on its own.That simply doesn't inspire confidence.I know liner locks are popular because they allow true one-handed opening and closing, and many people swear by them. This is simply my personal preference after years of carrying knives.I much prefer locking systems that use a dedicated button or positive locking mechanism that audibly clicks into place and requires a deliberate button press to release. Those designs don't depend on a thin spring arm maintaining its exact shape and tension over years of use.The photos I've attached illustrate exactly what I'm describing—the liner initially engages only minimally, yet can be manually pushed farther underneath the blade tang for noticeably greater engagement.Pros• Excellent machining and overall build quality.• Beautiful satin-finished 14C28N blade.• Arrived extremely sharp.• Smooth ceramic bearing deployment.• Skeletonized handle provides an unexpectedly secure thumb position during opening.• Feels solid and confidence-inspiring in the hand.Cons• Liner lock initially engages with very little overlap.• Manual pressure allows deeper lock engagement, suggesting it isn't fully seating by default.• Personally, I don't consider liner locks as confidence-inspiring as dedicated button or positive-lock mechanisms.Overall, this is a very attractive, well-built knife with excellent materials and smooth operation. However, because I place safety above convenience, I can't overlook a locking mechanism that doesn't fully inspire confidence. For that reason, I'm giving it 3 stars. The blade and construction deserve five, but the lock design is the deciding factor for me.

I have some other PRQ knives and I do think in general they’re well done. This one specifically I really like. The balance between the handle and blade feels just right. This knife seems very stout and well built. The opening mechanism is very smooth and free from defects and readily flips the blade. Locking mechanism is good and reliable. Comes with a very nice zippered storage pouch as well as a box and cleaning cloth especially if you’re giving this as a gift for the price. This is a good value and again I do think this brand makes some nice knives. This is one of them and is definitely better than some other offerings that they have. One nitpick I have with this is that the liner lock could be a little bit better. I prefer the liner lock to cover almost the entire thickness of the blade where this is only covering maybe a quarter of it. Although the blade and the liner lock are ground offset, I think this could be done better with a little bit better machining. This wouldn’t take too much and would inspire more confidence when you lock the blade.
