These valves seem very well made and the build quality was the first thing that stood out to me. Unfortunately, I ordered the wrong size for the project I had planned, so I haven't actually installed or put them through regular use. I'm keeping them because I'm sure I'll eventually have a project where they'll come in handy. One reason I wanted these was the construction. I've had valves where the handles feel like cheap hard plastic and don't inspire much confidence over time. These feel substantially better. The handles and bodies appear to be metal throughout. I can't say with certainty that every component is metal, but if there is plastic anywhere, they've done a very good job of making it look and feel like metal.Since I haven't installed them, I can't fairly comment on how well they seal or how they'll hold up after years of regular use. Based strictly on what I can inspect and feel, though, they seem sturdy and well constructed. At the current price of around $24 for a pack of five, I think the value is excellent. Getting five at once for that price is especially appealing compared with buying individual valves at a home improvement store. Just make sure you double check the size you need before ordering, unlike me!

These are nice high quality and inexpensive PEX shutoff valves for sinks. They are well made and have a nice chrome finish, and the quarter turn shutoff makes them easy to operate. I like that these come in a 10 pack since they are great to keep on hand for plumbing projects or when replacing multiple sink shutoffs. They fit and work as they should and are a great value for the money.

These valves are straight quarter turn type. These have a Pex B type connection to the common 3/8 compression used for sinks and toilets. More commonly used are 90° valves. If your plumbing comes up through the floor, this is the ideal valve. Under a sink when the stubout comes out of the wall in places where it doesn’t show I actually like to use a 90 Pex fitting with a little length of Pex pipe to the straight valve. By doing that I will never run short of the stub out when cutting an old valve out that needs replacement.

This 1/4 straight stop valve is a basic requirement in a plumber's or DIYer's stock kit. This is made from brass and is chrome plated. The operating temperature is from 40-140F, making it good for any cold water line and most hot water lines as well. It is lead free so it is good for potable water. The 1/4 turn is a nice feature for toilets and hard to reach spots so one can quickly turn off the water. The weight and design are appropriate for general use. The chrome coating is better than Zinc. Even so, these don't carry any certifications (ASSE, NSF, IAPMO) like leading brands. Even so, for locations that are visible and one can replace if defective, these are a good budget option at a value price point.
