Very easy to install, but I guess my cabinet doors are not heavy enough for these. I have adjusted them all the way from one end to the other, but the door won't close all the way. At least it doesn't slam anymore!!!

**Review Title:** Exceptional upgrade for silent cabinet doors: Easy installation and flawless soft-close performance**Review Body:** I am thoroughly impressed with the performance of these Onemake cabinet dampers. As someone who isn't particularly handy with home improvement projects, I was pleasantly surprised by how incredibly easy these were to install. The instructions were clear, and the dampers fit perfectly with my existing cabinet hardware without any additional modifications required.Since installing them, they have provided a consistently smooth, silent closing action that has completely eliminated the annoying noise of slamming cabinet doors in my kitchen. The quality is truly excellent for the price point, and they function exactly as advertised, making them feel like a much more expensive product than they actually are. I highly recommend this 5-pack if you are looking to upgrade your home cabinets quickly, effectively, and affordably. They have made a significant difference in the daily usability of my kitchen and have proven to be a durable, high-quality solution.

I have been using soft close cabinet dampers for well over a decade and have experience with several different models and styles. Here are my thoughts on this one make brand after installing and using them and comparing to the others I have tried.Functionality wise, they meet product description.Installation was fairly straightforward like many other brands and styles. They have an adjustment on the back to accommodate different closure forces which is important for this type of product. They included the Shim and longer screw which is needed to accommodate different dials of cabinet framing.I am primarily comparing these to the brand blue motion which I have had for over a decade with very good durability. This one make brand looks to be quite similar yet uses a plastic body. This isn't an immediate concern but does somewhat reflect the quality and gives me concern for longevity. Other plastic bodied no name brand dampers that I have used in the past tend to fail anywhere from immediately to about A year whereas the metal bodied blue motion dampers have not failed after 10 plus years.Regarding value, I am going to discount my rating because of the light duty build of these and considering the cost is very close to the same that I paid for the bluemotion. I just don't see the reason to save one dollar a piece to risk the durability and longevity. I have over two dozen of these installed and the fiddling I've done over the years with the off brand plastic bodied units that have 100% all failed, in hindsight, just wasn't worth it.I realize I'm projecting some and these might have great durability so I'm still giving them a 4 star because they have met their description and are functioning well for now but considering the price I would stick with BlueMotion.

These soft-close motion dampers are a simple upgrade that makes a noticeable difference in the kitchen. They help prevent cabinet doors from slamming and give them a smooth, controlled close instead. I installed them on several of my cabinet doors, and the difference was immediately noticeable—especially on the cabinets that tend to get opened and closed frequently. The compact design is also nice because the hardware stays fairly hidden once installed. The only minor improvement I’d suggest would be including slightly more detailed installation instructions for first-time users. Other than that, the dampers feel sturdy and work smoothly, and having five in the pack makes it easy to upgrade multiple cabinets at once. They’re an inexpensive way to make cabinets feel quieter and a little more polished.

What sets this type of damper apart from most is the fact that there is an additional adjustment knob located directly on the rear, that will adjust for heavier to lighter closing doors. Five come along with each order that bring great value for your slam-free and much softer sounding future. I really like how solid they look and feel like metal but are an incredibly lightweight plastic material that is highly functional while keeping things quiet. Use two or more units for any super heavy or wider doors. All the mounting hardware and spacers are included, offering both versatility and durability. Highly detailed instructions are included for assisting in the installation procedures.

This is a nice set of soft close motion dampers. I like that the dampers can close my kitchen or bathroom cabinet door slowly. The cabinet door hampers were very easy to install. I like that the door hampers can be adjusted to close the cabinets slowly without the cabinet door slamming against the cabinet. I did notice that the cabinet door dampers and made of light plastic compared to others. The dampers are very light and seem as if they could damage very easily. You got 5 cabinet door dampers. I would think six would be ideal since most cabinets has two doors. I took off 2 stars because of the quality.

These add-on soft-close dampers are a brilliant fix if you want quiet cabinets without replacing your existing hinges. The build quality is impressive, featuring a heavy duty metallic housing with a very clean, polished finish. The adjustable tension wheel on the back is incredibly useful. It lets you easily dial the resistance up or down with your fingers so the door closes smoothly regardless of how heavy or light it is.Installation is remarkably simple and fast. It face-mounts directly into the top or bottom corner of the cabinet interior with a single wood screw, completely eliminating the need to take your cabinet doors down. The included instruction sheet lays out exactly when you need to use the spacer block depending on your specific hinge type and door overlay. They provide an instant luxury upgrade for standard cabinets, stopping loud door slams completely with very minimal effort.

I love dampeners for cabinet doors. Every one of our cabinets has them. Some are more expensive and came with the install, some I added afterwards and were the cheaper kind you find at the big box stores with smaller plungers only because that’s all they had at the time. Those cheap ones worked, but they are also the only ones that have consistently started failing. These Onemake dampeners are shaped more like the expensive ones we have with a larger plunger, although the casing is plastic instead of metal like the more expensive ones. That shouldn’t matter as long as they last, which I won’t know for some time. For now though, these are working just fine and do provide a strong dampening that can be adjusted based on how you like it and the strength of your self-closing hinges. At a rough estimate, on the weakest setting these dampeners start with about 12 oz of force and seem to go up to as much as 2 lbs at full compression and full dampening settings. Regardless, they work really well and they’re easy to install. One note on install: since the bodies are plastic, it is possible to overtighten the attachment screw, so be careful. A few of them were sticking with the plungers depressed and I backed out the screw ~1/4 turn and they're fine. Since these dampeners are about $3.80 apiece vs the $7 of our other ones, they’re a good value as long as they last.
