The lamp itself is far lighter than you'd expect - I was worried it would be too heavy and possibly fall down due to the weight. It is a gorgeous piece - the creamy marble base accented by reddish brown hues - that feels luxurious, modern, and makes a statement. If you are looking for a new wall lamp or sconce, look no further - you have found it! And if you are not looking for one, well, I still recommend you get this and find a place for it. You won't regret it!The only flaw - if I had to share one - is that it isn't an easy plug-in lamp or sconce. If you are like me, you will need to hire someone to install it, and that won't be the easiest thing to do in a rental.
