Non Metallic Cable Connectors 100

This is a nice set of snap-in passthroughs for 1/2” knockouts. The parts have cable retainers inside to help provide strain relief (angled end facing into the box has the flap preventing pull-out but is easy to push new cable in). ETL certified means they are certified for US and CA safety, and they are a quicker install than the metallic clamp-style/nut-tightened connector while providing protection from box edge abrasion and strain relief. Description says it can handle up to 10/3 or 2 sets of 14/2 to 14/3 or 12/2.I installed into a metallic box, and it stays inserted firm and tight, and takes quite a bit of force and squeezing together to be able to pull back out.

Works great! If installing this connector from the inside of the electrical panel going outward, you will need to remove the wire retaining clip. I needed to open up the drywall above the panel, so I was able to insert the connector in the direction that is intended, and utilize the wire retaining clip.

I recently made a new outlet installation and used a few 3/4 Inch Clamp Type Cable Connectors. I used 6/3 AWG and 8/3AWG romex conductors and was wondering if these ones woulde be a good option. Unfortunatelly no. 6/3 and 8/3 are too thick for this connector and its better to stay with the manufacturer recomendation up to 10/3.The quality of the conector is great, it seems to be some kind of resin/plastic, very strong and resistant. Its actually easy to instal in a 3/4 opening of a 4x4 metal box. It holds the wires firmly.Compared to the metalic ones in price, this is much more expensive, but its purpose is ti install it where the locknut is too difficullt to adjust.

These are fantastic if you don't have room to get in a connector on both sides and this is the ticket it allows you passageway without having to access the other side of the box

I was glad to finally find this connector. It was the solution I had been looking for after finding a wiring mistake. The power cable had been inserted into the wiring box without installing the cable clamp. Since the wiring inside the box was already finished, it would be a pain to disconnect everything. And the risk of cable damage was minimal, so it's gone uncorrected. Then I saw this clamp with the open slit along the side and I knew it was what I had been looking for. I was able to slide the clamp around the connected cable, then slide it down the length to provide the missing clamp.

These seemingly well-manufactured, light gray plastic connectors could be just the right solution for certain use cases. One star off for no formal instructions or certification documents, so you're on your own with respect to any of that.They have a split side, allowing you to run the cable(s) directly in, without feeding, which could be a real boon for cabling that's already installed but needs a bushing/strain relief.They are sized to occupy a knockout in a standard enclosure, and seem to lock in durably. Over time, we'll see if they are prone to vibration or other wear and tear, but they seem pretty robust.Not much else to say. If you know you need these, they are a decent value.

This item is a nice alternative to have available from metal wire clamps, if for no other reason than that it can be added after the wiring has happened, while with metal clamps the wire must be threaded through the clamp. Of course you should always have all of your parts present before beginning a job, but life happens in serpentine ways, sometimes. This item works quite well for its task. I don't know if all electrical inspectors like them, but they have safety lab certification. A package of one is a pretty silly way to get them, but this distributor offers them in larger quantities.
