Excellent cutting blades for tiles

[Size: 4.5 Inch]
These blades are perfect for cutting my new glass tiles. They are made very well of a good quality material and gave me a nice smooth cut. I'm very pleased with the job they did for me.PS. With any tile cutting task, eye protection is a must and take your time, let the tool do the work.

Great for a kitchen floor renovation!Great for a kitchen floor renovation!

[Size: 4.5 Inch, Size: 4.5 Inch]
I picked up the EZARC 4-1/2 Inch Glass Cutting Disc 2-Pack recently, and they have been great for the kitchen renovation and tiling projects we have been working on. When you are trimming ceramic or glass tile around tight backsplash fits, a standard diamond blade can easily bind or end up chipping delicate glazes. These discs cut through tile like butter without catching or walking off your cut line. What surprised me most is how well they hold up over extended use; despite cutting through dense porcelain and glass, the diamonds do not easily dull or lose their edge like cheaper thin-kerf blades tend to do.From a technical angle, the design execution on these blades is really solid. They feature an ultra-thin 0.07-inch profile with a continuous rim loaded with brazed diamond particles, which drastically reduces drag and friction while keeping heat down during high-RPM passes. The one-piece forged construction gives the steel core enough rigidity that you do not get annoying blade flutter or wobble on a standard angle grinder, even when spinning up to its maximum rated 13,300 RPM. Plus, having two metal adapter rings included makes fitting them to either a 5/8 inch or 7/8 inch arbor quick and hassle-free.Overall, having two of these in the pack is a fantastic value for anyone tackling involved tile work. The low vibration gives you great manual control for precision detail cuts, and you get crisp, factory-clean edges without needing to spend extra time on cleanup grinding rough burrs afterward. It is rare to find a budget-friendly cutting disc that delivers this level of clean performance without wearing out after just a few passes, but these have definitely earned a permanent spot in my angle grinder case.

Cuts glassCuts glass

[Size: 4.5 Inch, Size: 4.5 Inch]
I've not yet used these discs on a real project but did try them out slicing up a small bottle. Cutting is smooth and easy, with the blade proving effective and precise in its cuts. The blade is well balanced with no wobble evident, even at high speed. With gentle use, clean cuts are possible but good control is needed and perhaps a variable speed tool, to ensure edges are clean and chip free. I saw no degradation or damage during this test beyond some of the paint being abraded by the glass. I think for the cost, these are an inexpensive solution to cutting glass, and likely ceramics, which I didn't yet test out.

Finally cut glass without cracking it on the first try

[Size: 4.5 Inch]
Always been nervous cutting glass. And rightfully so. Lots of very disastrous attempts in my past. I was almost giddy to try these out when I got them. I want yo get past my fear and not have it limit my tile and glass projects. It sliced through ceramic tile clean, no chips at the edge. Thwn I tried it on a piece of glass with the same results. The blade is ultra thin so it doesn't wander. I haven't actually done a project yet. So I don't know how quickly it's going to wear out, but for the price having two in the pack is nice. I am really looking forward to doing a tie or a glass project now and not dreading this part.

Excellent Blade for Glass Backsplash Tile

[Size: 4.5 Inch]
I bought these specifically for installing a glass tile backsplash, and they performed much better than I expected. The cuts were clean, smooth, and had very little chipping, which is exactly what you want when working with expensive glass tile. The blade cuts quickly without feeling overly aggressive, giving you good control for straight cuts as well as smaller detail work. I also liked that it left very little cleanup along the cut edge, saving time during installation. The blade stayed sharp throughout the project and handled both glass and ceramic tiles without any issues. Having two blades in the package is a nice bonus for larger jobs or future projects. If you're tackling a glass backsplash or any project involving glass or porcelain tile, this blade is well worth considering. It produced professional-looking cuts and made what could have been a stressful project much easier.

Clean Cuts on Glass Tile Without the Usual Edge Chipping

[Size: 4.5 Inch]
The EZARC 4-1/2 inch glass cutting disc worked really well for trimming glass mosaic tile around a bathroom niche where the cuts had to stay clean because the edges were still slightly visible after installation. On a standard angle grinder, it sliced through the glass and porcelain pieces smoothly without grabbing or wandering all over the line. Taking the cut slowly with light pressure gave the best finish, especially on the glass sections. The ultra-thin blade feels more controlled than thicker diamond blades usually used for general tile work. Some multi-purpose tile blades can leave rougher edges on glass or create tiny chips near the end of the cut, but this one stayed cleaner and felt better suited for detail cuts. It is not a magic fix for rushing through brittle tile, but with a steady hand it gives a much nicer edge than a basic general masonry or tile disc. The 2-pack also adds good value because glass and porcelain can wear down blades faster than expected, especially during a larger backsplash or shower project. Having a second disc ready means the job does not stop halfway through, and the price makes sense for anyone doing more than just one or two cuts.Pros:Smooth, clean cuts on glass, ceramic, porcelain, and crystal tileThin blade gives better control on detail workHelps reduce edge chipping when used with light pressureGood value with two discs includedFits a standard 4-1/2 inch angle grinder with a 7/8 inch arborCons:Works best when cutting slowly, so it is not ideal for rushingStill needs a steady hand on brittle glass tileNot meant for heavy demolition or thick stone cuttingOverall, this is a solid pick for tile projects where the finished edge matters. It feels more refined than a general-purpose diamond blade and gives better results on delicate materials like glass tile.

Cuts clean if you take your timeCuts clean if you take your time

[Size: 4.5 Inch, Size: 4.5 Inch]
I used this disc on an angle grinder for cutting tile and glass type material, and it made a cleaner cut than a general purpose blade. The thin blade helped keep the cut line controlled, which is important when you are working with material that can chip easily. The biggest thing is not rushing it. I got the best results by letting the blade cut steadily instead of forcing it through. It still depends on the material, but the cut quality was good for what I needed.I would recommend this for small tile, porcelain, glass, or similar cutting jobs where a rough blade would make a mess. Wear eye protection and take your time, because the blade can do the job but the technique still matters.
