These hooks are really useful when you need extra hanging space but do not want to drill holes. The clear design blends in nicely and does not draw much attention to the hook itself. We use these in the garage to hold up decorations for various events throughout the year and it has been perfect for that case. I think the heaviest thing we use it for is christmas garlands and it holds up well. It has a very strong adhesive and a pretty good shaped hook. Scotch-Mount Clear Adhesive Wall Hooks, 5lb Towel and Coat Hooks, Water-Resistant, 12 CountThese are working very well for me on my shower tile holding up baskets.They were very easy to put on and I especially appreciated the alcohol wipes to remove any thing on the surface that would prevent a good connection with the adhesive. I followed the directions and let them sit for more than 24 hours before I try to use them. I hung baskets full of shampoo and soaps and other things on them for about 3 days now. I've taken three hot showers, the wall hooks are still in place and don't seem to be bothered at all by the weight of the items I put in.I will say I did not realize that they were permanent when I ordered them. I'm fine with that, but I do think it should be more clearly stated in the listing.

These work great and are a great alternative to some of the 3M products. The clear adhesive works really well and sticks to a wide variety of surfaces. We have used them on our front door to hang a wreath on glass and also I am using them in our garage to hold some small items and dog leashes and they adhere excellent to drywall too. They are super easy to use and are a good size where they aren't too big to look ugly like some of the big command hooks but also not too small that you can't hang much on them. Very please with these.

I bought these to clear some clutter out of the back entry closet where everyone just dumps their keys, dog leashes, and baseball caps. I've used command strips in the past, but these are a different beast because the adhesive is permanent. Make sure you get the placement right the first time—I put one slightly crooked on the inside of a finished wood cabinet door, and trying to nudge it after it touched the wood was a mistake. It stays put.The wire hook part moves freely, which makes it easy to loop things on, and the metal feels substantial enough that it won't bend if a heavy jacket gets thrown on it. That said, the packaging claims it holds up to five pounds, but I'd be hesitant to push it that far on something like glass or tile without worrying about the tape sliding over time. For lightweight stuff, it does exactly what it needs to do. Just keep them off your regular painted drywall unless you want to rip the paper off later when you change your mind.

I ordered these specifically to attach to a shelf to hold up some neon-LED signs I picked up as background props for my streaming setup. They came nicely packaged in a Ziplock baggie, and did exactly what they're supposed to do, holding up my signs (which are admittedly lightweight, but I went a bit overboard to absolutely ensure nothing fell down). And they definitely do that.However: the buyer should be aware that these are not like Command strips--they're more of a quasi-permanent solution due to the adhesive. This is not a stick-and-move situation; the adhesive is one of the strongest I've ever seen on something like this. It's completely clear, so you really don't see the plastic backing once they're up, which is a definite plus. The problem is that they're almost TOO sticky, to the point that when I tried to reposition one of them, I could not, as when trying to remove it, it began to peel the laminate from the shelf it was attached to. So I left the offending one there and just used another one in the new location. Fortunately, they're very subtle once installed, and it's a 12-pack, so I had plenty of chances to get it right, but still. For surfaces like tile or even stone, it should be ideal, but there's no way I'd ever try these on drywall, no matter what kind of paint was used.On the positive side, I think my neon would stay in place during an earthquake. They're really overkill for what I'm doing with them. On the negative side, I do wish I'd known just how extreme the adhesive was on these, as I'd have likely ordered something else. This, along with the price, keeps me from giving five stars. If you're looking for a more permanent use, perhaps supporting heavier weights, these may be perfect for you. For me, while I'm very confident in their holding power, they're really more than what I needed.

I picked up this 12-pack of Scotch-Mount clear adhesive hooks mainly for organizing small items around the house and garage where I didn’t want to drill holes into tile or finished surfaces. The 10 lb rating seems realistic for properly distributed weight, but I wouldn’t push them near that limit on painted drywall even though they technically can stick there under ideal conditions.After a few weeks, they’ve stayed firmly in place even in humid Florida conditions, and the rust-resistant hook design keeps them looking clean. The main limitation is that once they’re set, they really are meant to stay put, so placement needs to be thought out ahead of time.
