Nice heavy duty fire extinguisher mounting bracket for those smaller extinguishers. Solid build with adjustable heavy duty quick release rubber straps. Easy installation with the included hardware or use your own hardware as required. Much more secure than a simple hook type holder and, for me any way, seems to be much easier to use than the metal band clamp holders.

I ordered the HWERTHREEMER Fire Extinguisher Mount Bracket for 2.5 to 5 lb Extinguishers | Heavy Duty Quick Release because I am a huge proponent in the value of fire extinguishers. I have more than one in my shop but they sit on the floor, partly because I did not trust the original plastic mount. This mount is strong enough for my smaller extinguisher size and very quick to release. The rubberized straps hold tight but lift easily out of the way. I can mount it in a high traffic area and be confident it can withstand any incidental contact. A definite upgrade for the shop.

I did not get this item for a fire extinguisher but rather for my giant bottle of hand sanitizer... And boy is it beautiful! I no longer have to worry about students moving the bottle around or throwing it away when it's empty. This was so easy to install and the elastic cords hold it in place perfectly. I bought this mount because the hanger that came with the fire extinguisher was just a small hook that supported it under the neck. This bracket is much more secure. It has bands that wrap around the tank and hold it firmly in place.It is made from heavy-duty metal and mounts to the wall very solidly. Once installed, the extinguisher feels locked in and stable. My fire extinguisher fits in it perfectly. The installation is easy and everything that you need comes with it. It has a nice appearance haning on my wall and the red color makes it easy for anyone to see. It says compatible with 2.5 to 5 pound extinguishers but it fits mine perfectly and mine is 7 pounds.The price is reasonable considering what it’s protecting. This is a very solid and practical upgrade over the basic hook style hanger that comes with the fire extinguisher. Recommended.

I have several extinguishers scattered around my shop. My primary area where one would be needed is right near my vise. I have always had a 5lb sitting on the floor next to the work bench leg. This bracket worked perfectly to mount it on the leg off of the ground. My biggest issue was the hose sticking out and causing it to get knocked over. Since the mount is universal I was able to just tuck the hose up against the body and secure it with the rubber strap. The rubber retention straps can be released from either side very easily. The straps have several ball stops so it can be used with just about any size extinguisher from 2.5 to 5.0lbs It works on both the tall skinny ones and the short wider ones with no issues. The metal is quite sturdy and will not bend easily like some cheaper brackets. The bracket came with screws and wall anchors but I was able to drill and tap my bench legs with 1/4-20 hardware so it will not be going anywhere. The quick release rubber strap works so much better then the Velcro types. Going for the fire extinguisher is usually a high stress moment and the quick release straps are the way to go. Great product, would definitely recommend.

I can’t get enough of these fire extinguisher mounts. They are fantastic. For years, I’ve had my fire extinguishers on the floor or falling off their plastic mounts when they break. These mountains will last a lifetime. I’m not sure why you can’t buy mounts like these in the big box stores, but I could never find them. They just aren’t available. I have a few of these now, it definitely makes me feel safer knowing that the extinguishers are secured. I’ve been burned by a few extinguishers, losing pressure after dropping. This should prevent that. It’s an excellent idea. This particular mount fits all of my extinguishers.

I wanted a more hi-vis extinguisher mount in my home so that all of us are more aware of where the lone extinguisher is located. This heavy duty steel with red powdercoating is exactly what I was looking for. The rubber straps make it extremely easy to secure and remove and the red color is the standard color for fire-related attraction and visibility. The metal is made of a thick gauge with no sharp burrs or notable issues.It is replacing a factory latch style that came with my Halon-type extinguisher. This thing is heavy-duty. I have temporarily mounted it in my shop. Its intended use is going to be in the cargo trailer. I have absolutely no doubt that it will be mounted in the trailer securely, and I will not worry about it one bit. It will be right where it's supposed to be. Something I didn't notice until I mounted it. It has little rubber pads to protect and help support the fire extinguisher. Since it's going to be mounted in the trailer, that's a pretty good thing to have, considering vibration and bumps, etcetera. Easy install; I plan to use nutserts and bolts into the stainless steel channel on my cargo trailer; I will not be using the provided screws there. The screws are heavy-duty for shop use. They are more than adequate for what they need to hold.In the photos, you will see the original equipment fair extinguisher mount. You can see this will not work in a trailer. Therefore this particular product is the fix.
