I used these hinges on a 5x5 fence gate and they fit the posts well. Once tightened down, everything feels secure with no looseness or wobbling at the hinge.They’ve been outside for over a month now through normal weather and I haven’t noticed any rust starting on the hardware. The gate still swings smoothly and the hinges haven’t shifted from where I originally installed them.Simple, sturdy hardware that has held up well so far.

My dogs recently managed to break one of their gate hinges for their play kennel. The female side fits snugly on the pin yet swings freely, meaning the gate won't jiggle due to loose hinges.The welds holding the pin into the hinge bracket are a bit sloppy, but this shouldn't affect the performance of the hinges.

This is a fairly standard gate hinge set designed to attach to round pole supports for chain link fences. You attach to attach the gate pieces. Then put the gate generally at the height you want to measure where to attach the pole pieces. And then set the pole pieces in place and tighten the bolts. Then you just out the gate on.The only thing I don't like about these type of gate have nges is there is way to lock the gate. You can lift the gate up off the hinge at any time, there's nothing securing the top of the hinge to the bottom of the hinge. It's the classic design for gate hinges, but seems like there should be a way to secure the gate hinge. Comes with everything you need and seems well made. Overall, an easy install.
