I'm always short on hooks when I need to get something out of the way, so I went with these to give them a try. I got the largest 4 inch ones and I'm glad and happy that I didn't go smaller. They are the same size as my pots and pans hooks in the kitchen, but one thing made it not that great for that and that would be the smaller has a larger radius than I would like so the hooks will turn sideways instead of sticking out straight like the purpose made kitchen hooks. They still work in the kitchen, but they flip facing the side and it can get annoying. I also put some out in the garage to hang my safety glasses and other items to the sides of my wire racks, they are perfect for that. They are very strong and will probably hold anything you try to hang on them and for the current price, it's worth it. They say rust proof but I haven't had them long enough for that to be a thing.

I got these to augment and/or replace some other pot rack hooks I have of similar design. My motivation is that if I store a saucepan and its lid on the same hook, the larger diameter of this hook would work a little better, and it is so, but not by much. The large size in these is slightly bigger than the current ones I have, but are of a smaller thickness steel material (3.7mm with these new ones vs 4.5mm in my old ones). It stills seems plenty strong and stiff though. The finish is smooth even on the cut end--no burrs or sharp edges to worry about. The ball end on the other end is nice, but a bit overkill, and might even lightly grab/snag something like a cloth potholder or silicone trivet hanging loop?The only real complaint I have is that the end that hooks to your pot rack is a bit too open. With my pot rack where the main place you hang pot hooks is a deep, flat bar of steel (vs.a cylindrical steel wire/rod). This lets the hook pop off the rack if you rock the hook as you lift an item off the hook. So I took a big pair of pliers, wrapped the end inside a leather work glove to avoid scuffing or gouging it, and bent it ever so slightly inward and problem solved. I suppose the larger gap maybe lets you install it on a super heavy duty pot rack that uses thicker material than mine, but then you'd think it would be made from a thicker gauge of steel wire.

One time while I was shopping with a friend and we came across some S hooks and I said to her "you don't know how happy this makes me". Don't judge me but I do love a good S hook. I use them everywhere. They're in the kitchen, my closet, my truck, and my tool shed. They are one of the most useful items ever. These S hooks are decent quality, they are strong enough to hold a cast iron frying pan and probably more. They're stainless steel so they are going to be extremely durable and at 20 for $9 this is a fantastic deal. Buy them you will not be sorry. It's a freaking epic deal on S hooks!

Outmate S-Hooks for Hanging, with Spherical End on One Side, Review:These are well-made and sturdy. The end of one side is nicely rounded, not sharp or rough like others I have had in the past.I got them with the idea of hanging my potted plants from my porch and around my yard in mind, and I think they'll be great for that. I also intend to use them with a bar I already have to hang pots and pans and various kitchen utensils.They'd also work for hanging up tools like rakes, brooms and mops. Or I could hang jackets, backpacks, purses or bags on the closet bar...whatever I want really, because of one side being narrower and the other being wider. That opens up possibilities and often makes them hang better...more straight down, at times. Still, I'll be careful of the flatter edge more around cloth items.They're stainless steel and say they're rust proof, which is great, because I've had some that didn't last very well in the past; but around here in our humid, salty air, and with the quality of metal alloys these days, being truly rust proof would get them miracle status.I look forward to using them in my garden and around my house, and I'll try to let you know how they hold up to the elements and over time.

The only problem I can see with these hooks is that you're going to find so many uses for them that you're going to want to order more! These are excellent! They are extremely sturdy and you can't bend them and yet they are thin enough to fit many items you could have uses for. The possibilities are truly endless because even though I bought these for kitchen pots and potholders I'm finding I can use them in so many other places! I have a clothes rack that I am hanging these on to hang my hats and I have a metal grid that I am going to hang these on to put some of my cords and tools. These are just so versatile! I have them in silver and they really are extremely useful! I have a bird fountain outside that I want to keep secure and I use a bungee cord on the edges of the bowl of the fountain but a bungee cord is so bulky so these hooks actually fit nicely and then I attach the bungee cord through the larger loops and hook it underneath and it looks so much nicer! I am pulling out holiday Garland and have noticed I can hook these to the inside rails of the stairway and put the Garland on the hooks and that is so convenient for setting up and taking down. I'm just giving you some ideas to show you how much use you can get out of these and what a great value they are! For the price point they are definitely worth it and they make them in other colors as well. Before I forget I also have done a couple of trips to the store and I hooked one to the headrest of my car and hooked the bags onto it. Really I could keep listing the uses of these but this would be an even longer review than it already is! A solid product at a solid price and lots of uses! Highly highly recommend!
