It's made really well with durable metal and glass, not a flimsy piece at such a price point.Would look elegant just about anywhere, even though it's supposed to be for outdoors.If yiu know how to hard wire easily, definitely a great buy.

It’s a waterproof design as well for most common climate conditions. What uses E12 sockets, also known as candelabra sockets? They are the second-most-popular socket in the United States, with literally thousands of bulb variations, because they have clear glass. I would recommend that you get candelabra lights for these sockets with clear glass so you can actually see the filaments, not what I call an ugly OD with little squares, but filament-looking LED lights.The maximum wattage that you’re allowed is 40 W that’s a lot of outdoor light from an LED bar in mind the usual formula that every 9 W of LED light is equivalent to 100 W of incandescent light so is the equivalent of having 400 W of incandescent light in the light fixture keep that in mind when you’re buying the bulb, you can do one of two things you can get a different switch for it or if you don’t want to use a dimmer switch and a lower wattage bulb, maybe a 78 or 9 W LED can light or two of them and then you might not need a dimmer.This light has a back plate and is also a combination install plate. But as I always stress, the most important thing whenever you’re doing electrical work yourself is to do what the electricians do. Make absolutely certain you’ve turned off the power to the junction box you’re about to work on before you start working on that junction box. You do this by locating the junk. The circuit breaker control panel box in the home, and turning off the circuit for that controls the junction box. Once you believe you’ve done that, use a voltage-testing device or a voltage meter to test each and every wire in the junction box to make sure they are no longer energized.I always carry an electrical testing device whenever I’m doing electrical work. It’s a plastic device that looks like a pen, and you turn it on by pressing the top button. A red light indicates that the tip is near any energized wire. It starts chirping like a bird, and the light starts flashing. If I bring it near a higher-voltage wire, such as a nearby 240-V dryer line, it will chirp twice as loudly and flash twice as fast. This is an important safety device to use when doing electrical work it can save you from a dangerous electrical shock.Another pro tip: when you remove the install plate after confirming the wires are energized, bring the wires through the install plate and into the junction box, and make sure that all the wires have the bottom half-inch of insulation removed near the tip of each wire. Connect the wires using the included wire lock nuts. Take the black wire from the house service side with a tip adjacent to the tip from the black wire from the fixture cover them both with a wire lock nut and turn clockwise into a firm, mechanical and electrical connection has been established to the same thing with the white wire and the same thing with the green wire, which may be connecting to a bear copper wire from the picture.Once you’ve done this, secure the back fixture panel to the install plate with the screws provided. I always recommend, because this is outdoor work, a bead of silicone around the entire edge of the fixture where it connects to the wall. This will keep rainwater out and, more importantly, keep bugs out. They can go in and nest inside your picture. You know that, even though the crack between the fixture and the wall may seem negligible, it will still get in. They can compress their size enough to get in.This is a beautiful outdoor fixture that I would probably put either on my front door or on my garage.
