The finish is reassuringly thick, promising good corrosion resistance and durability. The bracket corners are not chamfered, but are notched resulting in a pleasing appearance, and fit and function are as designed. Pleased with item.Cons: No mounting hardware (screws) were included with the brackets, so you must provide your own. The screw holes are not countersunk, so you should use hex head, cap head, or similar screws for mounting.Conclusion: Fair value for very robust, nicely finished L-brackets. Mounting hardware is not included. 4-Stars for meeting my expectations.

I never thought I’d be praising the aesthetic value of L brackets but here we are. These aren’t your grandpa’s Simpson Strong Ties, they’re considerably thicker than most commercial hardware plate metal that’s commonly used to connect 4x4 milled lumber and are much more stylish to boot. Because nobody wants an ugly pergola, right? We were very pleased to find them, just in time for our next project.These allow more options as to where to place your screws, a nicer finish and are each rated at 800lbs. A nice price too, as they come in at just over 7USD apiece, so they won’t break the bank, but your structure will look like a spa! The only way these could be any better is if we has more of them! Highly recommended.

These L brackets are solid and very heavy duty. Optimal for 4x4 post connections, but can also be use for larger sizes like 6x6 or 8x8. 10 mounting points drilled through in each side. Metal is weather protected by a thick black coating. Product looks good and the 4 pack is priced nicely. I'll end up buying more. I'm sure it will last for decades.
