Does what it was intended to do, when Govee doesn't offer a simple power supply and an after market company does I'm going aftermarket I refuse to buy another entire light set to get a power supply

Not sure what to say about this product as I am not an electrician. So I don't feel qualified to comment on exactly how this adapter is doing its job internally, but I will say that I did a LOT of double checking to make sure that all my lights' wattage and voltage matched the requirements for this plug. This product was able to replace a similar power supply that had failed last Christmas, and it's doing the job just fine. My lights are working again and there doesn't seem to be any interruption in the power supply.I'll update this review if it somehow fails prematurely while my lights are in use more often throughout December, but unless that happens, 5 stars!
