If you’re gonna install packs, you gotta have them and these are real dandy

My home is older, so it does not use PEX supply lines. My camper, however, was plumbed with PEX by the manufacturer. Unfortunately, some of those connections were poorly made. For this reason and for future maintenance on my home, I have begun to gather the tools and supplies to do repairs and upgrades with PEX. I opted for these PEROMI cinch clamps as opposed to copper rings because of the tight spaces I anticipate having to work in on my camper. These clamps check out as being made of stainless steel. They are nicely machined so that they have no sharp edges. The clamp I used in my test closed tightly and made a secure connection that I trust. These come in a screw-lid plastic container which is appreciated so that they don’t get scattered. These are excellent quality PEX clamp rings.

This 120-piece pack of 1/2-inch 304 stainless steel single-ear cinch rings is intended for PEX tubing connections in plumbing and heating systems. The rings feel solid and well-formed, with clean edges that should not damage the tubing during installation. The stainless construction offers good resistance to corrosion, making them suitable for both residential and mobile applications such as an RV water system. They work with standard PEX cinch tools and create a 360-degree seal when properly compressed. The large quantity is practical for a complete re-pipe or multiple smaller jobs, and the packaging keeps them organized. Once installed correctly they hold fittings securely under normal pressure.I picked these up specifically to redo the PEX lines in my RV. While the project is still ahead of me, the material quality looks consistent and ready for the job. Overall a straightforward, heavy-duty option for anyone needing a reliable supply of 1/2-inch crimp rings.

The 120-Piece 1/2" 304 Stainless Steel PEX Crimp Rings provide a secure fastening solution for standard residential PEX plumbing and floor heating projects. The 304 stainless steel construction offers excellent resistance to corrosion, rust, and mineral buildup, making them safe for long-term use inside walls or buried under floors. The single-ear cinch design provides uniform 360-degree pressure around the PEX tubing to ensure a leak-free seal on brass or poly fittings. They fit standard 1/2-inch PEX pipes precisely and interlock smoothly when compressed with a standard cinch tool. With 120 rings included, the pack offers plenty of hardware to complete a whole-house re-pipe or a multi-room radiant heating layout. It is a straightforward, contractor-grade fastener set that performs consistently without cracking or bending out of shape during installation.

I needed to do quite a few connections for running cold and hot water through PEX in my workshop. I already had a PEX crimper for these fittings. These are good stainless crimp connectors. They slide over the pex easily and are easy to place in the correct spot. The clamps crimp fairly easily with my 12 in crimper. So far I have not had any leaks at any of the connections. While a bit more expensive than the plain steel crimps I expect these to last a bit longer and be more resistant to rust. Overall a good quality crimp connector.

I grabbed this pack for a bathroom and bsmt repipe and a few floor heating loop repairs, and they've held up perfectly. The stainless steel feels noticeably heavier duty than the copper rings I used on my last project, and there's no worry about corrosion behind the walls. Every ring crimped down cleanly with my standard cinch tool, no warping or cracking, even after doing dozens of connections back to back. The interlocking design gives a tight, even seal around the fittings, and I haven't found a single leak after running water through the whole system for a couple weeks now. Getting 120 pieces in one jar means I had plenty for the main job plus extras left over for future repairs. They also come packed in a sturdy container instead of loose in a bag, which kept my toolbox from turning into a mess of stray clamps. For the price, this beats buying the bigger name brand in smaller counts. I'd buy these again for the next plumbing project without hesitation.

I recently finished a whole-house PEX repipe, and I decided to switch over to these 304 stainless steel crimp rings instead of the traditional copper ones. After using all 120 pieces, I can confidently say these are a fantastic, high-quality product. The 304 stainless steel is a huge upgrade. It’s incredibly resistant to corrosion, which gives me peace of mind knowing these will hold up for years behind my walls and under the floorboards without rusting or degrading. These rings are uniform in size and shape. I used a standard cinch tool, and every single ring crimped down perfectly without any warping or snapping.I’ve pressure-tested my entire system, and I haven't had a single leak. Once these are cinched, they provide a rock-solid, 360-degree seal that isn't going anywhere.Getting 120 pieces in one pack is a great deal. It was more than enough to cover my entire plumbing project, including the radiant floor heating loops, with plenty left over for future repairs. If you are doing any PEX plumbing or floor heating work, do yourself a favor and skip the cheap, soft copper rings. These 304 stainless steel clamps are stronger, more durable, and provide a much more professional-grade connection. I’m very happy with this and will definitely be getting this brand again for my next project. I highly ghly recommended.

This review is based on a comparison of several other brands I have used in the past, including the one major brand everyone knows.First inspection, the quality of construction is very good. It actual looks to be much better than the major brand. I have access to a handheld device to test the material for positive material identification, it is truly 304 stainless steel.I had two concerns initially, the width was not as wide as other clamps and the fit around the Pex tube was not as tight. After building a small manifold assembly using these clamps, I was completely satisfied the two concerns were not an issue. They clamp very well and tight in the correct position. I pressure tested the manifold with water to 70 psi with no leaks or issues. I them increased the pressure to 150 psi with air without leaks or issues. I then increased the pressure to 200 psi with oil via a hand pump with leaks or issues. I was satisfied and impressed with the final results.Generally, other brands sell these clamps with 100 count for $31.00, these clamps were $16.99 for 120 count. I would say this is a great value for a great quality clamp. It is important to use stainless steel in all installations due to other materials rusting or oxidation, especially near coastal areas.Often when ordering the mayor brand online, you don’t actually get that brand, but a knockoff at a high price.I will purchase and use these clamps on future projects with confidence.
