This little knife is quite the performer. It's incredibly sharp out of the box. The knife has a good finish and everything works really well. The lockup is perfect. The action is pretty smooth for most people. Enthusiasts will probably want to clean the pivot and use their own oil, but it's easily not bad out of the box.I have another knife by this company, the folding chef knife. I like it too. Both knives are pretty utilitarian, meaning they work well and perform but don't win any beauty awards. Nothing else comes with the knives and I'm fine with that. Why include fancy zip pouches if they're never going to be used, ya know?Just from the price point, it's probably safe to assume that the blade metal is actually 8Cr13MoV, which is typical for Chinese knives. It's a good stainless steel. True VG-10 steel would be several times this price. So for $37, this is a good little workhorse. I'll probably never use anything other than the blade and belt cutter, and I'm not a huge fan of thumb studs, but for the price, this is a good value.

This is a small pocket knife multi tool, more focused on being a knife than a multitool. I like the build quality, the carbon fiber is light but sturdy and feels good in the hand. I've already used the flat bladed screwdriver tip and "wrench" on some smaller metric bolt heads. Also the seat belt cutter, I used to cut those green plastic straps that come on some shipping boxes, worked well. I recommend for a pocket knife, comes in handy.

This is a Steel Blade Multi Tool Pocket Knife by Tacray. Though the outer shell looks plastic like, ilit does feel metalic. The outer body also has a clip on to clip the Poket knife on your belt or pants.The Blade itself is sturdy, thick and sharp, and it also comes with a secondary tool that seems to have bottle and can opening purposes.When flipped open. The blades lock into place, and the hinge on the neck of the knife can be nudges down to release the blades so they can go back to their closed position.

This is a nice sized and good looking lockback knife with a multitool blade as well. The knife is well made and well put together with a durable handle. Flipping out the blade is easily accomplished with a thumb stud. The blade arrived with a usable edge, but as with all new knives a quick touch up with a diamond sharpener or leather strop is in order to take it to a very keen edge. I found the multitool blade to be pretty well thought out and it could possibly be helpful in a pinch. Certainly the bottle opener, wire stripper and screw driver could be used as designed. As I have tons of real screwdrivers and wire strippers I’d say I’ll only likely use the bottle opener.Bottom line: well built rugged lockback style multi tool and pocket knife.

You can see the size of the knife blade, various multitools, and the size of it when it is fully closed. Very compact. I do like the size and style of the blade. I wanted a pocketknife that didn’t have a skinny blade. This is a nice wide blade, which makes for sturdier cutting.The blade locks in place when it is fully extended. There is a notch on the side to easily release and close the blade. The multitool does not lock, but stays firmly in place. I’ve used the screwdriver and bottle opener. Both work fine.The blade itself is decently sharp out of the box. I took mine to my sharpener to put a finer edge on it. It comes with a “factory” edge, which is to be expected. It is sharp enough out of the box, but it did take to the whetstone nicely. Bottom line - it is a nice pocket knife with a nice blade. The multitool piece is also nice. Great price for a very nice little knife.

TACRAY 5-in-1 Multitool Pocket Knife.This is an awesome little EDC pocket knife/multi tool. I’ve never seen one designed in this way. Honestly, I think they did a great job!The knife comes in at just about 5.70 inches overall with a cutting edge of 2.4 inches. They are using VG10 steel here, which is a great mid-tier stainless composition with good edge retention and fantastic corrosion resistance.The grind on this blade was absolutely perfect and it was also just extremely sharp from the factory. The multitool section was machined well and I appreciated that there was also a seatbelt cutter, a bottle opener, a wrench, and even a screwdriver! This multitool can also be used as a light pry-bar, which is great!The knife is using a cross bar lock that works great and has good spring tension. The lock itself also passed my strength testing without any issues.The included scales are of good quality G10, they have great texture and an integrated full length G10 back-spacer, which is a welcome addition. The ergonomics here are pretty great, even for my XXL hands. The pocket clip is steel, and is also a deep carry design that has good tension and works well.Overall this is a fantastic little knife / multitool that is made of premium materials - it is easy to carry and is also a solid value. This knife / multitool is designed very well and I find it very easy to recommend.
