Quality not what I expected. I’ve bought many metal table bases from Amazon. And always be please with the quality. These 28”!were the biggest I’ve bought and extremely light. Almost didn’t seem like they were metal. They must be extremely thin metal. Not nearly as sturdy as other brands. Won’t buy from them again.

TLDR: Solid-looking bench legs for a simple DIY furniture projectThese are a good option for a basic DIY bench, coffee table, small desk, or furniture refresh where you want a clean black metal base without building legs from scratch. The rectangular shape has a simple modern look, and the 16-inch height makes sense for lower furniture pieces like benches or coffee tables. I used these with some reclaimed wood scraps to make a bench for our front porch.The metal construction is the main advantage. It gives the finished piece a sturdier feel than lightweight decorative legs, and the black finish works with a lot of wood tones and styles. The adjustable feet are also helpful because floors are rarely perfectly level, especially in garages, patios, or older homes.Installation should be fairly straightforward, but I would still plan it carefully. The final strength depends on the tabletop or bench material, screw placement, and whether the wood is thick enough to hold the hardware securely. I would pre-drill the holes and use better hardware if the included screws do not feel right for the project.A couple things to keep in mind: these are just the legs, so the quality of the finished piece depends heavily on what you mount them to. I would also measure the final height before installing, since 16-inch legs may be right for a bench or coffee table but too short for a standard desk.

These are absolutely fabulous table legs! DIY projects make my heart sing and I was SO looking forward to my new coffee table. It was EVERYTHING I had hoped it to be. Live edge is a fave of mine, maybe because I live in northern Minnesota and we do our best to respect and reuse the forest. As a child, I also remember my Dad teaching me about different grains of wood. I would rub my little chubby hand across the wood and do my best to tell the difference. So. of course, I had to find a great chunk of wood for this project!My husband had a stash of live edge, but told me had used it all. Ha! I knew better than that, so, I went straight to the stash of live edge he thought was hidden! This jewel hidden behind some never going to be used plywood, so I grabbed it and took it to my office/studio.First, I cleaned it really well with wood soap and water. Next, I sanded it just a bit. After it completely dried I applied the first coat of poly (wax based) and let it dry. I repeated the poly and dry step until I had eight coats. That may be overkill, but I knew ,y dogs would soon be jumping on and off of the table!After a few days of drying completely, it was time to add the legs and turn it into a table. I felt like Cinderella, but reversed, kinda. I did get some help to get started, but within ten minutes the legs were on and the feet were added. The screw holes in the metal were perfectly done, aligned right up and made the job much easier. I'm pretty handy, but drilling into pretty wood always scares me a bit. No fear here! It was easy as I had hoped.I carried it into my living room and put it in place! It was WAY beyond my expectations! The legs were absolutely perfect. They set off the slab of wood and my decor perfectly! The table made a nice centerpiece without being too much. I loved it. It is so sturdy, that my 150 pound Greet Pyrenees/Leonberger could dance on it, if she wanted...which she won't. The square legs are sturdier than a lot of the ones that look more like curved wire. I'm very pleased with the legs from start to finish! Not only are they very well-priced, they are well-made and the high-quality material of the metal is heavy, solid, with no rough spots to hurt little (or old) fingers! From packaging to the actual legs, quality material was used for every bit!These table legs come highly recommended from me, a die-hard DIYer with big ambitions! I enjoyed using these 16-Inch table legs for my DIY coffee table. I paired them with a 48"x15" tabletop made from construction lumber, and they gave the finished piece a clean, modern rustic look while providing excellent stability.The legs feel sturdy. They have a solid finish, and once installed there was no wobble. Even with a fairly heavy wood top, the table feels rock solid. Both legs sat level right out of the box, which made assembly straightforward. I really appreciated the adjustable leveling feet. If your tabletop isn't perfectly flat or your floors have slight imperfections, you can fine-tune each corner to eliminate rocking. It's a small detail that can make a big difference on a handmade project where the lumber may not be perfectly square.The package also includes all of the mounting screws needed to attach the legs, which is convenient if you want a simple installation. That said, I chose to use threaded inserts in the wood instead. This allows me to remove the tabletop from the base whenever I need to transport or refinish it without wearing out the screw holes. If you're building furniture you may want to disassemble in the future, I'd definitely recommend going that route.One thing I found a little odd was that the kit included an extra leveling foot. While it's nice to have a spare, it seems like an unusual spare item to include since it's not something that's likely to get lost or damaged during assembly. It's certainly not a negative, just a curious addition to the package.My only complaint is there seems to be a piece of metal or rock trapped inside one of the legs. I can hear it rattle around whenever I move the piece. That isn't a huge deal since the table will be stationary 99.9% of the time, but you may want to keep in mind the QA may not be top tier. It's possible others defects may exist.To summarize, these are excellent table legs for anyone building custom furniture. They're well-made, easy to install, and the adjustable feet make it easy to achieve a perfectly stable table. Whether you're using hardwood, reclaimed lumber, or simple construction lumber like I did, these legs provide a solid foundation and give your finished project a professional appearance. I would definitely use them again for future DIY furniture builds.
