Seriously love how versatile this blade is because I’m definitely no pro I just need something for those random quick cuts around the house and I was always a bit sketched out watching videos of those traditional metal cutting discs like shattering or something if you use them wrong you know. Seeing how solid these specific diamond discs look it gives me way more confidence they won't just fall apart like the thin ones which is great because having one multipurpose tool is way easier for me since I don't use the grinder all the time but it's totally better to be prepared with the right stuff for whatever pops up. The overall construction feels very robust, and knowing it handles metal plus tile and PVC, it's basically the only type of disc I'll need for my simple home projects.

This review is for SALI 3PCS 4.5 Inch Diamond BladeThese are great quality. I loved all of the AI reviews. Do not trust the picture where it shows perfect cuts. Of coarse they do not do perfect cuts. I used mine at the shop and we deal with metal. You do have to de burr these. Just like any other unless you are using one of those $15,000 saws that release cooling liquid etc. What I like about them is the price they go for and they last a long time.. One disk went though 2 production runs before it gave out. That's not bad. That was about 12 hours of work give or take before it died and I was not upset. It did great. No need for the fake photos where it does perfect cuts. If you don't have an expensive saw you will never get those cuts. But for what this is and the price its worth using them in production. Its a good bang for your buck. Good return on investment if you are making money with these in a fabrication shop. Not bad if you are looking at these go ahead and pull the trigger.

These SALI 4.5 inch diamond blades have been useful when a job involves several different materials and constantly swapping discs would be a hassle. One blade was used for trimming ceramic tile, cutting through a section of PVC pipe, and making a few cuts in mild steel angle. It stayed reasonably smooth through all three materials and did not feel like it was struggling when moving from masonry to metal.On tile, the cuts came out fairly clean when the grinder was allowed to do the work without forcing the blade. Concrete produced more dust and slowed the cutting speed, but the blade continued tracking well. Cutting steel was slower than using a dedicated abrasive cutoff wheel, although the diamond edge lasted longer and did not shrink down after a handful of cuts like traditional bonded discs often do.These are especially convenient for repair or demolition work where tile, mortar, fasteners, pipe, and metal can all show up during the same project. A dedicated diamond masonry blade still has an advantage when spending the entire day cutting concrete or stone, and a quality metal cutoff wheel can cut thin steel faster. I have rental properties and am doing maintenance continually. My angle grinder is a staple in my travel tool chest. Having a blade that I can use across many types of materials is awesome. I do not have to swap out blades all the time. The other thing I like about these is that I can leave them on the grinder while I store the tool. Other types of discs end up being damaged with the slightest pressure while being stored. These diamond blades are great! They cut extremely well, leaving clean cuts in most materials.I really have a tough time with galvanized pipe. These blades work really well in that material. They need to be kept cool, though. Give them a bit of a cool down after about 2 minutes. If you don't, you can feel the resistance to cutting start to grow. The blade wants to sort of push back a bit.Reminder--these are for cutting, NOT grinding! You can cut basically anything you are brave enough to try. I gave a scrap brick a try, and decided I definitely wanted a wet cut instead of a dry one. So I'll stick to metal with these blades.As someone who has always rung my cutting and grinding discs prior to use to check for unseen cracks, I like a metal disc. 18,000 rpm fiberglass discs are no fun 8n the eyes, even with safety wear. I'm a lot more confident with a metal disc. BUT! Always check the edges of these discs for defects prior to use! Any signs of bare spots, loose or cracked material, or damaged cutting areas should be an automatic one way trip to the trash can. Never gamble on an imperfect disc!I really like these. Get some, and give them a try for yourself. They're angood value, versus traditional fiber resin cutting discs.

These diamond cutting wheel easily cut sandstone, limestone, and even an old bench grinder wheel.It cuts wood but leaves a burnt finish which wasn't really surprising.I hesitated trying it on metal but that is one of the jobs I use my angle grinder for the most. First test was on a scrap wheel stud. It cut that off with only a bit of wear to the blade. Next test was a piece of exhaust pipe and it cut through that also. There is some wear on the edge of the cutter but it held up pretty good considering a normal cut-off wheel would have been used up with those 2 cuts. Aluminum loaded the cutter up a bit but it did that ok too.I didn't have a tile that I wanted to sacrifice but I'm sure it would be similar to the stone. Dusty but fast cutting.It cut PVC pipe fast and with only a slight bit of melting.These cutters really are multi-purpose and not overly expensive. I'm sure cutting metal would wear it out faster than the other materials I tried but it's nice to know it does work and it stays the same diameter unlike the abrasive cut-off wheels.

These are high quality multi-material cutoff blades intended to be used inside a 4.5" angle grinder. They work well in my corded Bosch grinder. The blade can be used either wet or dry, although I will recommend they if being used dry do not run for more than 2 minutes at a stretch before allowing it to cool down. The blade is advertised for cutting cutting tile, ceramic, concrete, marble, granite, stone, glass and metal. I have used it for cutting an existing installed cement hardie board backing during a bathroom remodel project (replacing it with Kerdi board before installing new tiles), some thin wall EMT conduits and for cutting 1" and 4" copper pipes for a plumbing project and the blade cuts them like a hot knife through butter. I am still on blade 1 of 3 and so far it shows no signs of wear. This has a 7/8" arbor hole and comes to with an adapter ring to fit smaller hole. So please make sure that this fits your angle grinder.The cutting disk itself is quite thin (3/64") and made of stainless steel - which is good since it will not shatter like fiber/raisin based cutting wheels. The diamond cutting grit is mounted on the edges.The cutting quality and speed is similar to my DeWalt DW47450M 4.5" XP multi-material cutting blade which costs 4x the price but advertises 1000+ cuts with a single blade (and I have been using this one DeWalt blade through many projects now)The jury is still out there on how long will this SALI blade last, but if each blade in this set lasts even 1/2 of DeWalt blade's lifespan, then it is money well spent.
