Unbelievable quality. Great wood. Smooth hinges. Great functionality.

[Size: 47.25 in x 22.75 in]
I had hoped to have this installed by the time I wrote this review. I still have not installed it, but I had to comment on the quality, design, and functionality of this workbench. When I got it, it was so heavy that I could not lift the box in its entirety. I had to move it by physics. I rolled the box like a tire. When I reached the picnic table I leaned it against the table, then lifted and slid it onto the top. I was staying in my brother's cabin at the time, so when I was ready to head home from that trip, I backed my SUV up to that picnic table and slid it from the table to the back of my car and drove back home. Point being, this is an incredibly sturdy workbench. I could feel that before even seeing the way it was designed and built. It is solid which generally denotes quality! When I got back to my home state, I was staying with another brother at the time, because I am in the process of buying a house. This brother is a talented carpenter by hobby. He rehabs and owns over a dozen rental homes. And has his own business as a commercial general contractor whose specialty is construction in working hospitals, a unique specialty. We opened the box to discover a quality tabletop, which I think was most of that solid weight I handled. We did not set it up there... not my house. But I wanted to see what it was and how it worked, so I'd have an idea of where I wanted to place it when I did get a house. We worked the hinges and I could tell they were well built. They slid open and closed very smoothly. I wanted the opinion of an expert, my brother, and he agreed. He also showed me the perfect spot to place it in his garage. I honestly thought that he thought, this collapsible table was not a big deal until he saw the quality and the foldability. Then he got it and wanted it.To me his evaluation holds more weight than mine, he being the expert. I can't wait to get this set up. I want to use it in a garage with projects using my tools, and I do have a serious toolbox and do most of my home projects. And I also want to use it for gardening projects.I feel the cost of this item is more than fair. The quality collapsible wooden tabletop itself alone is worth the cost and it comes with so many other things too. Peg boards and the hardware from which to hang your items are also included. But the collapsible tabletop is the true star here!

Excellent Quality and Value - Perfect For For Limited Space Use

[Size: 47.25 in x 22.75 in]
Used in my laundry room for additional counter space on a wall that I needed to leave clearance because the wall adjacent is a mechanical access to the water heater and main water manifold. Installing a fixed cabinet would not work because that would not allow access to the space, so I had looked at a rolling cabinet, but those were 3-4 times more expensive and were bulky.I came across this drop-down workbench top and it was perfect for my application.I was able to space the brackets at 32" o.c. to be attached to the studs and then mount the top to the brackets. To deploy it, you simply lift up on the top until it's level and clicks locked and to drop it down, you just lift slightly on the top while depressing the two levers on the brackets at the same time and you feel them unlock and then drop it down.Looks great even inside of the house because it's nice quality and looks like butcher block counter.I didn't use the pegboard panels in the house because A) I didn't need them and B) there's a window above the counter top - so I used them out in my workshop instead.Overall, this countertop is great quality, easy to install and excellent value when compared to others. It was shipped fast.5- Stars!

[Size: 31.5 in x 15.75 in]
We have very limited spaces, so we have to ensure items we chose leave a small footprint & are highly functional...We chose the Walmann 31.5x15.75" Space Saving Wall Mounted Folding Workbench w/Pegboard Kit because we needed a place to do repairs & DIY work. The folding Workbench was just what we were looking for, as we could fold it down, work on projects & repairs, & fold it back up like it almost didn't exist when we finished our work. The Workbench is very sturdy when pulled into working position, & there's no fear it's going to fall while we work. The Workbench has a 150 lb weight capacity, which is fairly generous. We really appreciate the inclusion of the Pegboard kit, as it allows us to place tools right at our fingertips ready for repair & DIY work. The Walmann Folding Workbench w/Pegboard Kit is versatile & can easily be utilized beyond your garage or workshop. This Workbench set would be great for a janitor, an apartment handyman or super, a maintenance manager, or for anyone with just a small working space.

Great Worktable & Pegboard Kit for Enclosed Trailer

[Size: 31.5 in x 15.75 in]
This is a great space saving worktable & Pegboard kit for tight spaces. This is especially true for enclosed work trailers. I love that it is metal and is not susceptible to moisture warping like traditional pressed board pegboards. It is coated well so that you don’t really have to worry so much about rust under normal use. It comes with some hooks to get you started as well. What I love the most about it is the folding worktable. This is great for a work trailer where you need to space for the things you haul, but when you get to the worksite you have space take things off of the trailer so that you have a worktable inside the trailer. This gives you the best of both worlds. It is easy to use and very stable. In addition, it is solid rubberwood, which is a hardwood that is more than sustainable, since they use spent rubber trees. This is a great final use for trees that are taken care of and farmed. Overall, I think this is a great deal.

Smart Space-Saver for a Small Workshop, Sturdy Once Anchored to Studs

[Size: 31.5 in x 15.75 in]
I mounted this in a corner of my workshop where I didn't have room for a permanent workbench, and the fold-away design has made a real difference in reclaiming floor space when I'm not using it. Assembly was straightforward with all the hardware included, and the folding brackets operate smoothly, lifting or lowering the tabletop with one hand once it's set up.The worktop itself feels solid, the wood is noticeably thick and the high-gloss finish has held up fine against minor scuffs and the occasional tool set down a bit too hard on it. I've used it for light tasks like small repairs, sorting hardware, and holding a project while gluing or clamping, and it hasn't flexed or wobbled under normal use. That said, I made sure to anchor the mounting brackets directly into wall studs rather than just drywall anchors, since I don't think it would feel nearly as stable otherwise given how much leverage a wall-mounted table puts on the mounting points. The included pegboard kit is a nice bonus and adds useful vertical storage right above the workspace, letting me hang frequently used tools within easy reach instead of taking up drawer space. At 31.5 x 15.75 inches, the tabletop is on the smaller side, so this is better suited to light-duty tasks and hobby work rather than heavy fabrication, but for a garage with limited square footage, it's been a practical and space-efficient addition.

Wallboard Use Is Best. Not the Best with Raw 16” Center Studs.Wallboard Use Is Best. Not the Best...

[Size: 31.5 in x 15.75 in, Size: 31.5 in x 15.75 in]
Both the large and the small workbenches are reviewed here. Both beautiful wood wall mounted workbenches can be setup to meet your height needs. The small workbench instructions are more thorough than the large one. Because the instructions can’t cover every possible situation, I used AI to suggest the height of the support braces, which includes the height of the workbench (35”). AI did the math. I did the measuring. Tools needed for this step include a tape measure and a straight line. AI also suggested the placement of the braces considering the large bench overhang (7”) and the strength of its center. AI suggested a third center brace for the large size if I would be doing heavy work or pounding. When the braces are screwed on, you will need a level. AI stated if the braces are an 1/8” out of level the bench may not fold. It might bind.I stopped my project here because AI suggested the included M5 and M6 screws were not long enough, and it suggested a a variety of other screw types and lengths to make sure the screws don’t pop off. AI stated the same, but for the smaller bench, the M6x40mm should work. The metal tool boards are sturdy; however where they meet is between my raw studs, so even with proper size screws there will be little support in the center. This is true for both size benches. There are two peg boards with the large and four same size with the small. Hardware provided is for drywall mounting. There are four different types of pegboard tool hooks, so that might be a lot of weight for these to bear, so I had decided early in the project to not use them.Overall these are high quality workbenches. They will work best with drywall, which more mounting sites. Both wood tops have the same material. The large is thicker and much larger. The braces are heavy duty and predrilled. A person with carpentry DIY project experience, I am confident, will appreciate their quality and design.

A Practical Garage Upgrade That Maximizes Every Inch of Space

[Size: 47.25 in x 22.75 in]
My garage has always faced a space shortage problem. I need to repair tools, do some woodworking projects, assemble equipment, or handle various DIY projects, but traditional workbenches take up a lot of space. So when I saw this wall-mounted folding workbench, it seemed like a perfect solution. After installation, it has indeed made my garage workspace much more efficient and tidy. When not in use, it can be folded up against the wall for storage, barely affecting passage or parking space. When needed, it can be easily folded down to provide a stable working platform. This design is truly practical for garages, basements, or small workshops. Before, I always had to move a table around because I didn't have a fixed workspace; now I can have my own dedicated workbench anytime, which is much more convenient. The 47.25 x 22.75 inch size is more than enough for most daily repairs and DIY projects. There's no problem storing power tools, repair parts, woodworking materials, or computer equipment. Whether it's simple home repairs or weekend hobby projects, it provides ample working space without being bulky due to its size. After installation, the workbench unfolds very stably, with no noticeable wobbling or looseness. Although I haven't specifically tested its 550-pound maximum load capacity, it gives me peace of mind when storing toolboxes, power tools, car parts, and some heavier equipment. Judging from the materials and support structure, it certainly possesses the stability expected of a heavy-duty workbench. Previously, many frequently used tools were kept in drawers or toolboxes, requiring rummaging through them when needed. Now, hanging them directly above the work area not only makes them easily accessible but also makes the entire work environment look neater and more organized. For those who enjoy DIY, this way of organizing tools can truly improve work efficiency significantly.

Super easy to install and space saving folding shelf!Super easy to install and space saving foldi...

[Size: 31.5 in x 15.75 in, Size: 31.5 in x 15.75 in]
The Walmann folding wall mounted shelf is just what I had been looking for! In a corner of my garage, I have against one wall some cabinets from an older kitchen remodel along with a countertop. Whenever we have garage parties or events, we use this countertop area as a buffet, but I always wanted a smaller shelf off to the side, but I also didn't want it in the way of opening the drawers to the cabinets. This shelf checked off all my boxes and my needs! The shelf itself was very easy to install. The hardest part was making sure I knew where the studs were located at, making this level with the current countertop, and aligning everything perfectly level. Once you have all this down, it's just a handful of screws and you have yourself a fold down shelf! The shelf board is a very nice looking board with a high gloss. This high gloss should make it easy to wipe up any messes you get on it. This kit also includes metal peg boards. I haven't decided where I want to mount the peg boards quite yet, but I have a few ideas. The nice part is the peg boards come in four smaller sections, so you can really place each peg board panel in a different location depending on your needs. Or you can simply form one entire row or square out of all the pieces. It also includes a bunch of different sized pegs, so you will have the right size for just about anything you need to hang up!Overall, I'm extremely pleased with the quality of this folding shelf. Based on the quality, ease of install, sturdiness of the shelf, multiple peg boards, and price point, I consider this an extremely good value and a great way to add additional shelving in your garage that you can fold away when not in use!
