These wood appliques exceeded my expectations for a furniture makeover project. These decorative wood trims were perfect for a project where I wanted an inexpensive bookcase to coordinate with a much more expensive piece in the same room. I didn’t have to cut the lengths down at all, other than making the corner cuts for mitering, which made the project much easier than I expected.I was especially pleased with how well they took stain. I applied the first pass with a rag, wiped it down, and the finish came out beautifully without a lot of fuss.I can’t think of an easier way to get this much of a change in the look of a piece of furniture just by adding detail around the edges. I’m very happy with the result, and I know I’ll be back for more.

Beautiful decorative half bead trim molding. Nicely made and the design is elegant. I ordered the thinnest width because I plan on using this in a doll house. The lengths are perfect for that type of application. If using this on large projects you would need quite a lot of product to cover larger areas.The wood is unfinished and can be painted or stained. The wood is smooth and well finished so minimal finishing work would be required. The wood can easily be cut to size or angled for corner joints. The natural wood color is also quite beautiful and can be left in its raw state.Overall, a nice set of durable and nicely made molding pieces. I'm very pleased and would absolutely recommend this product.

These decorative wood trim pieces are great for small projects. They seem reasonably strong, thick but easy enough to cut and the surface accepts paint no problem.My husband and I are redoing our common room and we have been adding architectural embellishments. I have ordered multiple items from this company and have been happy with all of my orders. The unfinished pieces take paint easily and are very simple to work with… super easy to install with any kind of construction adhesive.As I said, I have been happy with every order from this company. I do feel, however, that this set is a bit pricey per foot compared to the intricate other items I have ordered. It’s not waaaay more expensive than the price per foot if you were to buy eight or 12 foot lengths, but considering the limitations of their short length… That makes them a little bit less versatile. These could technically be made from scraps of other pieces and therefore I think the price is just a tad high.That said, I have been working nonstop with many decorative trim pieces from them, they have all arrived promptly, well packaged, and in good condition. All of the pieces I have worked with have been really fun projects with good results.
