These post kits are SUPER-durabe and made with high quality steel. They feel like they're powder coated and are very resistant to corrosion. The metal is super thick and tough. They even come with bolts to drill these directly to the failing post or a post that needs reinforcement. I used these for my property in Louisiana where we have high hurricane winds and soggy ground most of the year. These definitely helped straiten out my back fence and hold it upright again. The post provides a bend in it so you can use a hammer to hammer it into place. I used a 20lb sledge hammer for mine. It can definitely take a beating. Just keep in mind you may want to use a wooden block on top of the striking surface if you want to keep the coating from chipping off. The bends are helpful in navigating around existing concrete fence post bases. I will ABSOLUTELY keep some of these handy for future projects. I highly recommend these if you have high winds in your area or are in need of fence repairs. They are super easy to use and ABSOLUTELY worth the price for a sturdy fence again.

I’ve tried a couple of metal stakes (made for wire fencing) to straighten my leaning fence, but this SEDALIP repair kit works much better. The parts are very heavy-duty, and it was easy to assemble. It also includes all the tools you need. The only downside is that it takes a while to pound the stake into the ground. I'd suggest putting a piece of wood on the stake when you hit it with a hammer/sledge. Once they're in, it feels very solid and I hope I don't have to remove them!The most important thing is to keep the stake tight against the fence post and keep the post plumb while you're pounding it in. Overall, I’m very happy with it and I think this should put off having to replace my fence for at least a couple of years.

I was pleasantly surprised by this fence repair kit. It arrived with everything needed for the installation, including the screws and drill bit, which made getting started very easy. I was a little skeptical at first because the metal brackets/supports come in two pieces that have to be assembled. Once I put the first one together, though, I was impressed with how sturdy and substantial it felt.One tip I would definitely recommend is to make sure you insert the screws from the top rather than the bottom. I learned this the hard way. If you install them from underneath, the ends of the screws will face upward and make it much more difficult to hammer the supports into the ground.These worked perfectly for my leaning fence, but there is an important limitation to keep in mind. They are designed for a fence post that is still anchored in the ground but has started to lean. If the wooden post has completely rotted and is no longer anchored, these would not be the right solution. There are other repair braces and kits designed for that type of damage.For repairing a leaning fence, though, I highly recommend this kit. It is sturdy, includes everything needed for installation, and fixes a frustrating problem at a very reasonable price. I give it 5 out of 5 stars.

What I like about this fence post repair kit is that it fills the gap between doing a temporary patch and tearing out an otherwise usable post. If the wood is still structurally sound enough to hold fasteners, reinforcing it beside the post can make a lot more sense than immediately digging everything out and starting over.These stakes are much more substantial than I expected. The 2 mm steel has real weight to it, and the design gives you a long section above ground to secure against the wooden post rather than concentrating all of the support at one small point. That matters because a leaning fence is putting sideways force on the post, so spreading that reinforcement vertically should provide much better support than simply wedging something against the bottom.I also like the shape of the below-ground section. It is long, pointed for driving into the soil, and has multiple openings rather than being one smooth strip of metal. Once buried, that gives the surrounding soil more opportunity to settle into and around the stake instead of the stake relying entirely on surface friction.The black coating is another practical detail since most of the visible portion can sit fairly unobtrusively alongside the fence instead of looking like a shiny piece of repair hardware.One important distinction is that I would consider these a reinforcement for a leaning or weakened post, not a cure for wood that has rotted so badly that screws can no longer get a solid hold. I don't know if the photos fully capture the drama, but my fence had a solid 2-inch lean going on—looking less like a property boundary and more like the Leaning Tower of Pisa.​My only real gripe with the kit is the packaging: instead of bagging the nuts, bolts, and screws separately, they dumped the entire hardware store into a single bubble-wrap pouch. Trying not to lose half the parts in the grass turned into an unintended side quest.​As for installation, I did go rogue on one step: I anchored the support to the ground first, fastened it to the fence, and only then removed the temporary anchors. That said, I'd still recommend actually following the directions unless you enjoy living on the edge.​At the end of the day, it worked. The fence is standing straight, it’s holding strong, and you really can't ask for much more than that!

What to do with a broken fence post, get something sturdy to shore it up and these did the trick. I have one broken post and it was on the hinge side of a gate so under decent stress. Tried several times to make it sturdy but no luck. Saw these available and figured I'd give it a shot.Install was fairly simple although, use your own wrench instead of the provided one since it is slightly bigger and won't hold the nut. Other than that that, you can attach the two pieces, use a piece of scrap wood between the brace and hammer. If the ground is hard, pre-water so you can pound the brace into the geound. Once you've done that, take the bolts and screw into the post. There is a little give in the race so you don't need to be perfect.So far, success. For the first time in years, I can just open and close the gate with ease!
