This Caged Glass Outdoor Post or Pedestal Mount Light with Dusk to Dawn Sensor is so beautiful and elegant looking to me! I really love the lantern style design and the pattern of light the cage creates around it. High quality craftsmanship made of real glass, metal, and some plastic parts. This looks amazing and feels very well made holding it in my hands! I really love the standard E26 bulb socket that allows me to choose from so many different styles and colors of bulbs available. I’m turning this beauty into a remote control lantern using a rechargeable bulb until I decide where I want to permanently install it! This light is the perfect candidate because of the four very easy to remove thumb screws that hold the cage on top. This gives me easy quick access to the bulb and the oval shaped top ornament is great for lifting the cage while removing or placing the bulb. The same oval shaped ring on top can also be used to hang it or carry it in my opinion. It’s the perfect size to fit almost anywhere on a flat surface. My favorite feature of this beautiful light is the metal cage that protects the glass from being broken easily. The cage makes it look so cool to me! This has a built in dusk to dawn sensor that automatically turns the light on at night and then turns it off when the sun comes up. I’m so happy they include the pole mount and pedestal mount which makes it very versatile to me. The mounting hardware, wire nuts, and detailed instructions make the installation quick and easy! I’m very satisfied with this beautiful elegant post or pedestal mount outdoor light. A fantastic value for the money at this price! This is a product I would recommend to friends and family or anybody else. Definitely a five star product is my honest personal opinion. I would give this one ten stars if I could.

This BesLowe pillar light nails that modern, upscale look right out of the box. The matte black finish and clear glass give it a clean, contemporary aesthetic that instantly upgrades the exterior . The dusk-to-dawn sensor is incredibly convenient – it clicks on at sunset and off at sunrise, meaning I never have to think about it .The price is tough to beat for the visual impact; I've gotten compliments from neighbors who thought I spent way more than I did. Installation is straightforward for anyone comfortable with basic wiring, and it comes with all the necessary parts . The clear glass sides show off decorative bulbs nicely, which is a fun touch .Now, here's the honest reality check that pops up repeatedly: **rust is a real concern**. Multiple reviewers report signs of corrosion within a few months to a year of installation . The "weatherproof" claim feels generous – some users found the metal components rusting after a few months . Also, the fixture is **completely open at the bottom** . This means bugs, spiders, and even small critters can crawl right in and set up camp, turning it into a nightly insect hotel . You'll be cleaning out the glass regularly. Some users also mentioned tricky mounting plates that don't always align perfectly, or instructions that could be clearer . For the price, it's a great-looking light that does the job, but think of it as a stylish, budget-friendly upgrade rather than a lifelong fixture – keep an eye on the finish and be prepared for some maintenance!

This outdoor post light is well made and looks beautiful. Installation was very simple and straightforward. Taking out the old one took longer than installing this one. I love the clean, straight lines, modern style and the contrast between the black metal with the clear glass. It adds an element of elegance to the front entrance. The dusk to dawn feature is a great feature. No more forgetting the light on during the day. I'm extremely happy with this light and would definitely order it again with no hesitation.

I am in the process of replacing all of my driveway post lights with modern dusk to dawn ones. That's because after I replaced a few of my broken lights with dusk to dawn ones, I realized how much easier my life would be if I no longer had to worry about turning the lights on every night when it turned dark and turning them off every morning when I woke up. So, when I saw that this post light available for review, I jumped at the opportunity. The light arrived very well protected in professional packaging. The entire light was encased in thick styrofoam insulation. I attached a photo of how the light arrived so you could see. After I took the light out and handled it, I was really happy with the quality of the metal and the glass. The glass panels were thick and the black metal had a good solid weight and feel to it. The entire post light was clearly made to last outdoors in harsh weather.Installation went smoothly and was no different than any of the previous post lights that I installed. And it fit perfectly onto my 3 inch pole and it had the standard screw holes which lined up with my pole. I also like the fact that this post light uses E26 bulbs so it gives you more options for choosing bigger and brighter bulbs. And most importantly, the big test was the dusk to dawn sensor, which worked perfectly. As soon as it started to turn dark out, the light turned on, and when I checked on it in the morning the light was already off.And I think the best part of this light is the list price of $50. At the same size, I have bought much more expensive post lights that were dusk to dawn. And the quality of those post lights was exactly the same as this one. This is definitely a good quality light that worked perfectly and is priced really well. So, I definitely recommend it. And it looks great too.

Installed this at the end of my driveway on the included pier mount base and it looks a lot better in person than I expected for a new listing. The matte black finish is even, the lines are clean, and the lantern doesn’t have that cheap, thin look a lot of outdoor post lights have. It feels nice and sturdy when you pick it up and when it’s mounted. Nothing flexes or rattles. Glass panels sit tight in the frame. I get the impression this will actually hold up outside instead of looking tired after one season. The style works well as a driveway marker. Square lantern, flat top with the little loop handle, clear glass, and an Edison-style bulb inside. At night it throws a warm, even glow without looking like a floodlight. During the day it just looks like a finished fixture instead of an afterthought bolted onto a post.Hardwired dusk-to-dawn is the reason I wanted this. Photocell is on the neck of the fixture, not buried where snow or a bush would block it. It came on at dusk and shut off in the morning without me touching a switch. That’s the whole point. If you ever want it on during the day, these usually include a cap for the sensor; I left it in auto.Mounting: the pier base is included and that’s what I used. It’s a square fluted plate with a collar that the lantern drops onto. Hardware was in the box. If you already have a 3-inch post, most lights in this style also sit on that. This is a hardwired fixture, so plan on a junction box or running cable into the pier. Not a 10-minute stick-it-on-the-wall job, but once it’s wired and tightened down it feels planted.Bulb is not included. Standard E26 socket. I put in a warm LED Edison filament so it matches the look in the product photos. Don’t load it with a giant incandescent if you can avoid it; LED is the right call for outdoor dusk-to-dawn.Weather is the usual outdoor-fixture question. Finish is matte black and billed as rust-resistant and waterproof. Seams look decent, glass is solid, and the sensor housing isn’t a flimsy plastic bubble. I’m in a climate with rain, freeze, and road salt nearby, so I’ll know more after winter. First impression is that the metal and glass are substantial enough that I expect decent use out of it.Small notes, not deal-breakers:Measure your pier or post before you commit. These look compact in photos and then feel bigger once they’re sitting on a column.Keep the photocell facing open sky. If you tuck it under a roof overhang or next to a bright porch light, dusk-to-dawn can get confused.Wipe fingerprints off the glass after install. Clear panels show smudges until the first rain. For the end of a driveway, yard post, or column, this hits the brief: modern-enough lantern, automatic on/off, included pier base, and a heavier feel than the usual lightweight Amazon post light. Looks good installed. Feels sturdy. That’s what I wanted.

This dusk to dawn outdoor post light with pier mount base is hardwire and works great. It has auto on/off, waterproof, sturdy, rust free, matt black finish, modern style, weatherproof, stands at 16.4" tall, E26 base, 100w max, 120V, and can be mounted either pier (base included) or pole (not included). My sister has a beautiful garden with a fountain and once the brick flooring is completed, we will mount this on each pier around the garden. This modern style post light is what will bring out the best look in the garden to stand out even more at night. Very good quality!

This dusk-to-dawn outdoor post light is perfect for what I had in mind. It includes a 3-inch hardwired base, but it can also be mounted on a taller post if you prefer more height. I plan to purchase a couple of taller light poles and another light to create a matching set for my new backyard makeover. One of my favorite features is the automatic dusk-to-dawn sensor. The light comes on at dusk and turns off at dawn, so there’s no need to remember to switch it on and off. It is also designed to withstand the elements and is waterproof, weather-resistant, rust-resistant, and heat-resistant, which should make outdoor maintenance much easier. The matte black finish paired with the clear glass gives the fixture a beautiful modern look. Although I chose it for my backyard, it would look just as nice in a front yard, on a patio or deck, or lining both sides of a driveway. My garage is located on the side of the house, so there is a fairly long walkway leading to my front door. I’m already thinking about purchasing several more to illuminate that pathway at night for welcomed visitors. Besides providing needed light, they would add beautiful ambiance to the entire outdoor space.Overall, I think this is a great value for the money. It is functional, attractive, and versatile—and I’m looking forward to seeing how everything comes together with my backyard makeover.
