[Size: 5.0 Cu Ft]
Happy with this safe for the price. Its pretty thin, not sure how the actual fire proofing would work in an actual fire. But its way more secure than a locking cabinet.
[Size: 5.0 Cu Ft]
Nice, small home safe for important documents.
[Size: 5.0 Cu Ft]
Great little safe!
[Size: 5.0 Cu Ft]
Over 200 pounds and very well constructed and plenty of room
[Size: 2.0 Cu Ft]
Very nice safe for the money. Has key and combination lock. Velvet lined inner shelves. 28 pounds- but can be mounted permanently on another surface. Large enough for my needs.
[Size: 5.0 Cu Ft]
It's a pretty good safe. Needs to be bolted down or it can be easily carried off. Walls appear thin for being fireproof. However locks, keys, emergency access all work good.
[Size: 0.6 Cu Ft, Size: 0.6 Cu Ft]
Decent size safe for moderate value items and what they claim as a fire resistant bag is also included. It's relatively inexpensive for this class and sized safe, but this is more of a security lock box than an actual safe. The owners manual is short, clear and to the point. The locking code is easily changed. I like the fact that they provide mounting hardware, so you can bolt down the safe for extra security. There's also two back keys and a external battery pack that can be plugged to the outside of the keypad if the batteries inside the safe goes dead. The electronic lock is easily defeated if not bolted down. So it is important to understand this isn't a high security safe. It's more for keeping honest people honest and items from simply growing legs. Anyone with just a small amount of determination can easily defeate door. The safe is supposed other have a light that comes on when opened, but the light on my safe doesn't work. There's nothing in the owners manual that address or mention a light. I checked the description details on Amazon and it's stated and there's even a picture with text depicting/stating that there is a light that comes on when the door is open for low light situations.
This seems well built and secure, and is a fantastic price ($16 today).I was a little mislead by the ad heading, and a number of reviews, that suggested this as a travel safe for valuables. It it quite a bit heavier than I (6'2" male) would be comfortable toting on a vacation. I've returned the item.As a handgun safe, though, this seems like it might be a good option.
