This is such a cute wall decal and perfect for your little one’s first birthday!! It’s super easy to stick to the wall, and I didn’t have any issues with any staying or falling. I did end up separating some of the words a bit for how I wanted them, but that was personal choice and isn’t a problem with the product itself.Colors aren’t super neon or anything, but a nice “warmer” tone if that makes sense? It looked exactly as pictured.Overall this is an amazing wall decal for your little one’s first birthday and I highly recommend it!

We ended up not using this decoration at our party, but from what I could see the colors are really vibrant and it would be perfect for a toddler's first birthday celebration.One thing to be aware of: it comes rolled, which caused some of the letters to bunch up and curl. We were set up outside without a good flat surface to stick them to, which made application tricky. If you have a smooth flat wall or surface ready to go indoors, you should be fine — just factor that into your party setup planning!

We haven't used this wall decal just yet, but I have unfurled it and it is spot on looking like the photos on Amazon. The quality seems to be very good as well, and while durability may be something some of you are looking for, I honestly can't see anyone removing this from the wall and trying to re-use it for another birthday. I love the colors this decal brings to the wall and think it will make a wonderful backdrop for that very first cake smash photo. Let's face it, this is something every social media mom / dad will want to have as a backdrop to their son's / daughter's first birthday. Bottom line, this is well made and will definitely be a big hit among the party goers. As you can see from the photos, this banner allows placement on the wall in whatever spacing requirements you may have, and stays nicely rolled up until you are ready to place the lettering on the wall.

The application process for this setup was completely painless. It stuck to the wall just fine, laid down flat without any annoying air bubbles popping up, and peeled back off when the party was over without puting up a fight. Functionally, it does exactly what it is supposed to do and doesn't give you any hassle during setup or teardown.​My main issue here is the price point compared to the actual quality. This thing is incredibly thin, intensely vinyl-feeling, and just feels overall very cheap. It feels like a piece of plastic wrap trying to do a premium backdrop's job. This is a very Expensive banner. Yes, it is very well done with vibrant lettering, but the banner is all you get for the price. The picture might suggest that the balloons and puff number are included but they are not; picture is only a display suggestion. I don't think the banner alone is worth the price tag.

UPDATE: Unfortunately my daughter did not save the packaging after she put the clings up. It was too late when I was removing them to try to find them in the trash!! The clings are super sticky, like a thick tape. I originally commented they were like a wall cling, but they really are not: they are a sticker. They are super sticky and pulling them off was not easy, that’s why I’d be afraid to apply them to a painted surface. If you were to use these on a painted surface I would make sure it was a gloss surface, because I think it would rip flat paint off the wall. I do think these would work great on a fabric arch, but it might be tricky to remove and you would just need extra hands to hold the fabric taunt to pull these off. When I removed them from the cabinetry, I stuck them to some extra plastic tablecloths, but I don’t think we’ll be able to remove them to reuse them. We did not place these on the wall. We placed them on white laminated kitchen cabinets. My daughter used some of the star clings on the sliding glass door so no one tried to walked thru the glass. They are so sticky. I’d really be afraid to put them on a painted wall. I would put them on a mirror, a window, an arch or like my daughter did on a laminated cabinet. They were really cute. Remember to save the backing if you want to reuse or pass them onto a friend!!Original Reviews: Most of the “Fun to be One” party supplies and accessories are in the primary bright color scheme. These decals are not quite as bold as primary colors, they have a softer tone. The green is army green, a brighter kelly green would have looked better. The Amazon listing says they’re vibrant multicolored letters; they are not quite as vibrant as expected, they are still cute but sway more girl than gender neutral. They do not quite match the color scheme of our previous purchased decorations. This decal comes rolled with on a styrofoam cylinder to prevent being crushed. The decals look like they’re going to be similar to a vinyl window clings but when you peel them off, they’re actually pretty sticky. I am a little concerned the decals could damage a flat painted wall surface. The Amazon listing is a little confusing; you only receive the “it’s fun to be one” with the colored matching stars. The Amazon photos show pictures including 7 matching latex balloons, a gold star banner, stuffed animals wearing party hats, and a number one helium balloon. None of those items are included with the decal. It will look cute but we probably will not hang it close to where all the primary colored plates, and accessories are being displayed. These decals can be used on a wall, window, or fabric arch. If you are careful with them, they could probably be reused.
