It's a super snug fit I had to file down the framing and weld to fit it above door . But it's exact to size very good quality for the dollar and very well made . It is being used above storm door with pet door bc they don't make storm doors that tall .

But it feels heavy for my purposes: a transom-window above a screen door with aluminum framing. However, it will still work on a lower space where a transom window just above the concrete floor will serve to let cool air in while hot air exits the transom over the door.Anyway, back to the window as-is. The hopper-style design is particularly useful for a basement because the window opens inward from the top, providing ventilation without requiring a large amount of clearance. The operation is smooth, and the window feels sturdy when opening and closing. The glass provides plenty of natural light while the vinyl frame will be easy to maintain. The insulated double-pane construction is a nice upgrade for a replacement window and gives the window a more modern, energy-efficient feel.*Installation will obviously depend on the existing rough opening, so measure carefully before ordering and be sure the area will have proper support for installation. (That was my error. I didn't consider the weight. And the weight may be totally normal - I am not a window expert - but it had a light appearance that I foolishly relied on. My bad. The weight was right there thanks to Amazon.)Overall, this is a nice-looking, well-designed replacement window that can make an older basement or bathroom window opening look considerably more finished and updated. But for my purposes, I have decided its installation will have to wait until I am ready to fit it into the secondary location that I have in mind.
