I ordered the set of two as part of our ongoing house refresh project, and they look beautiful in my study.The shades have a black exterior with a gold interior and a delicate fireworks-inspired laser-cut pattern. Once the lamp is turned on, the pattern casts beautiful reflections onto the wall, creating an unexpected and elegant visual effect. It adds so much more character than an ordinary lampshade.Each shade measures approximately 7.9 inches at the top, 9.8 inches at the bottom, and 7.9 inches high. They are made of metal and feel sturdy and well constructed.Installation was very easy on my lamps. There’s no assembly required, just place the shade over the lamp harp and secure it with the finial. The harp and finial are not included, so make sure your lamp has the proper fitting before ordering.I especially love the combination of black and gold. I received this set of two metal lamp shades through Vine in exchange for my honest review, and I originally planned them for the guest bedroom. I liked them so much that they ended up in the master bedroom instead, where they sit near a birch tree in the corner and give the room a quiet forest-like feel. 🌲💡Each shade measures about 7.9 inches at the top, 9.8 inches at the bottom, and 7.9 inches tall, with a 0.43-inch thread opening that fits a standard harp and finial. They are made of iron with a black exterior and gold interior, and the cutout forest-tree pattern casts a warm, leafy glow when the lights are on. 🌟✨Installation was simple once I confirmed my lamps had harps. I just set each shade in place and twisted on the existing finial. I keep smart bulbs in them on a low dim most of the time and raise the light when I need more brightness, which makes the tree pattern look even nicer in the evening. 🧺💛These shades have become a favorite in the bedroom. Very cool small lampshade. 8 in at the top at 9 and 1/2 at the bottom in diameter, but a durable metal shade with a tree pattern carved through it. It casts a unique Shadow and has a beautiful pattern. As you look at it you can see the bulb through the shade more than you could with an opaque shade. But just be careful in your bulb selection. Overall good quality. I think it's a great decor edition to your home

This is a much nicer shade than I expected. It is very round, evenly formed, and has a good solid feel without being overly heavy. The metal is reasonably thick and stiff, not the flimsy paper-thin material you sometimes see on decorative shades like this.The finish is excellent. The outside is a clean matte/satin black, while the inside is gold, which gives the light a warm glow through the forest cutout pattern. The detailed paint work is also better than expected: even the upper support wires are black on the top side and gold underneath, so the shade looks finished from normal viewing angles instead of looking like a cheap stamped part.The rolling, welding, and overall forming work all look precise. Mine arrived very round with no dents, no obvious warping, and no sloppy seams. The tree/branch cutouts are crisp, and the shade creates a really nice layered light effect when illuminated. It has enough weight to feel substantial, but it is still light enough for a normal lamp or pendant-style fixture.Overall, this feels like a well-made decorative metal shade, not a bargain-bin part. The black exterior and gold interior combination works especially well with warm bulbs.I agree with other reviewers that these are really nice find!

Really cute lampshades and made of reasonably thick metal. They allow more light in our bedroom to hit the walls, and it's the nice warm color we chose when we picked out the bulbs we use, it doesn't change the color like it would if it passed through fabric. The cutouts also cast fun shadows that look a bit like the design, though our situation doesn't create optimal shadows, the bulb is too bright.Initially I was worried they'd be easy to dent or damage, but they seem pretty tough, even the parts between. There's a sort of mesh or something that backs the cutouts and keeps everything stable.

I was glad to see the lampshade. It's beautiful, it goes well with our lamp. Set up was a breeze because we have the remainder of the other lamp shade holder stuff. The quality is great too, worth it.

I wanted a special lamp shade for a lamp on my balcony. This Special lamp shade is soooo AMAZING especially in the evening and the light bulb goes on and there are the black trees that are soooo perfect on the lamp shade!!!!
