Great little heat gun in a small package. Gets very hot very quickly and has a plastic shroud around the tip so you don't burn yourself. It comes with a large package of heat shrink for a variety of gauges. The cord is just long enough to be useful. It's lightweight and easy to maneuver. Very good value. I would recommend it overall.

Terminals are good, I would like to see a little more solder in the middle for bounding, but still work great. They also shrink down nice & tight. The heat gun is what stands out the most to me, and I would probably purchase this kit just for that. It heats up fast, and the high setting is super hot. The heat shield is a nice add so that you don't have to turn the wire, and for tight spots. It initially was a loose fit, so I had to bend the metal out a little to keep it from falling off, easy fix. The built in stand is also a nice feature. Grab the set of 460 pieces, if you do much of any wiring, you will go through these fast.

We've been slowly undoing some of the... *creative* choices the flippers made in our nearly 100-year-old house. 😆One of the first things to go? The endless parade of builder-grade "boob lights." They just didn't fit the character of this beautiful old house, so I've been replacing them with fixtures that have a much more vintage feel and let me use Edison bulbs. I race ATVs professionally 40 weekends a year across America, and let me tell you the things that can go wrong with a Yamaha race quad! I am constantly having to rewire and splice different things because once you build a high-performance motor like all high-performance motors things are gonna wear out, breakdown and pull apart. Being able to properly heat shrink and wrap different splices that I’m having to do, different parts im having to put onto my race quads , this heat gun has made that so much easier and it’s so much better than using a crimping tool to just crimp the metal down onto the wires to create the connection so it can flow through. I love this heat gun. They send you so many pieces for you to go ahead and get started on any of the soldering that you might need to do any or any sealing and protecting. It’s all there. It’s all included in this kit! For the price this is an amazing value so easy to use. It’s so durable and it’s the perfect size to take traveling. Throw it in whatever bag that you have. As both and electrical contractor and, someone who has been restoring '70s era muscle cars for close to 50 years, I've owned and used my share of heat guns. Everything from full size heavy 120 volt monsters, to the smaller cordless, battery operated guns and everything in between. Having said that, I can't tell you how impressed I am with this 350 watt mini heat gun kit from RIWELF. Aside from the standard performance that you would expect to get from a small heat gun of the size, I was shocked when I actually had the opportunity to put the gun through its paces. Normally these guns take a little time to heat up and reach a temperature range where you can shrink tubing or solder splices efficiently however, not the case here. This gun has dual temperature settings, low at 482°F, and a second high setting that brings the gun up to 752°F. The temperature settings are controlled by a multi-position switch that's conveniently located at the rear of the gun. These temperature settings are ideal to shrink insulating tubing quickly and efficiently. The higher temperature setting works perfect for the solder butt slices that are provided with the kit. We'll talk more about those items in a second but, more about this awesome heat gun. The 110 volt cord is plenty long enough to reach just about anywhere you need to once you're plugged in. Let's say you're working in an engine compartment. There's enough cord to reach just about anywhere throughout the entire compartment. Another nice feature is the fold away stand at the front of the heat gun. This is great for hands-free heating when you're trying to position something you're working on and you don't have that "third hand" available. The stand comes in handy. The heat gun has overheat protection which extends the life of the heating element and prevents it from burnout during extended use. Size is perfect because the gun is extremely light and easy to maneuver in tight spaces. Also included is a discharge nozzle attachment that's used for heating butt slices and shrink tubing much more efficiently. This attachment wraps around the aforementioned items and directs the heat right where you need it.Now for the connectors and insulating tubing. This kit also comes with a 300 piece waterproof solder seal assortment of different size connectors along with corresponding 3:1 ratio heat shrink tubing. This kit is perfect for splicing wires ranging from #10-#26 AWG conductors. These connectors have solder strategically placed in the center of the connector. When you heat them, the solder melts and is dispersed throughout the connector for a solid electrically sound connection. If you desire a watertight connection you can use the supplied heat shrink tube which is rated for a watertight seal. As far as pricing, you'd be hard-pressed to find this heat gun alone for under $40. Here, you get the heat gun, and a 300 piece connector kit with pre-cut heat shrink tubing, all for under $40. If you have to fit up service vehicles, this is the perfect kit to do that with. Not only do you get the tool which is the heat gun, but, you get the 300 piece connector kit as well.
