Picked up this set of 3" heavy duty casters with brake for an indoor work cart I'm building that'll easily roll from room to room throughout a restoration. I was really needing casters that weren't going to scuff, scratch, or dent my 106yr old hardwood floors and that also had a brake as there's nothing level about an old house and wrestling with a cart to stay put gets old real fast!While these casters are overkill for my single cabinet cart, I still choose them as they're very well made, roll very smoothly, and included all the needed hardware, so for the price, they're definitely worth it!

This is a fantastic set of 3-in caster wheels. They swivel and turn easily out of the box and provide a good Hardy wheel with which to roll various items on like furniture or in my case a chicken and rabbit tractor. The casters do come with all of the hardware needed to install them through the pre-cut holes in the frame of the casters. The brakes work perfectly and bring the wheel to a full stop and prevent it from moving entirely. This is a great set of casters well worth the cost.

These casters were installed on a heavy workbench and rolled smoothly across clean concrete. The swivel action made it easy to reposition the bench, and the brakes held it securely during use. The low mounting height also kept the work surface from becoming excessively tall.The main drawback is the 3 inch wheel size. They roll well on a swept floor, but concrete expansion joints, zip ties, welding wire, and small shop debris can stop them abruptly. Larger 4 or 5 inch casters handle those obstacles with less effort and are a better choice when the bench gets moved frequently.For a workbench that mostly stays in one area and only needs occasional repositioning, this set offers solid value. The casters feel sturdy, the rubber wheels run quietly, and the brakes are easy to engage. These casters are heavy duty and feel very durable. I built a 6’ long welding table and mounted some 3” casters from harbor freight. They don’t hold up well and the bearings started grinding, then the wheels just started coming apart. I chose these casters from LSWhee because of the 4000lb rating. These casters are stout and the bearings in the wheels and swivels function smoothly. All four caster wheels have easy functioning brakes to keep my table from moving around when I’m working on it. Very good quality caster wheels that is a huge improvement over what I had before. Hardware is included but no lock washers. LSWhee should consider better improving the packaging. The weight of these wheels did a number on the box they came in and the hardware was scattered all over the bottom of the box. No damage, other than the packaging. Price of these caster wheels are a bargain considering how good the quality is.

Everything in my shop is on casters, so I've had quite a few over the years. These are fantastic. They are smooth rolling and swivel well. I really like the lock, which locks both the wheel and swivel. What I like most is the split lock lever. Left side pushed down locks it, right side pushed down releases it. No more having to hook my toe under the lever to pop it back up.

You get the caster kit and you need nothing more to install it. The kit includes quality casters with the caster axle riding on a steel bushing, and the mounting plate on ball bearings. The wheel is a hard rubber to absorb cracks and surface imperfections without jarring your bench or tool box every time you roll over a minor concrete crack. This means a very smooth roll and control without having to fight against uncooperative casters with some low quality examples from other manufacturers. The construction of the caster skeleton is of adequately thick metal that is precisely bent to fit the caster and ensure the caster rides true. The brake is a pretty standard wheel brake that applies and releases very easily. The mounting plate is suitably thick and easily exceeds the load limit for safety. The mounting hardware makes installing the casters easy as you don't have to go anywhere for appropriate hardware. And the hardware is also suitably specified for the load. All in all, a very complete caster kit with quality materials and of good manufacturing specs. Pricing seems reasonable.
