My north-facing steps get very slippery and these treads have a rough texture on top to prevent falls. I will update after I see how well these last through the winter.They're easy to apply. The step surface must be clean and dry so I swept them with a brush and wiped them with isopropyl alcohol. The backing is easy to peel off. I then lined the tread up and gently laid it on the step. I used the included roller to press them flat, starting in the middle and rolling to each end. After flattening and ensuring there were no bubbles, I repeatedly rolled the surface in all directions.The treads are sticking well so far and I feel more confident walking on the wet stairs. The appear to be good quality and durable. I was afraid I wouldn't like how they look but they actually look fairly nice on the steps. My steps are two boards deep and they're deeper than one board. I oriented them toward the front of the step. Nice set of nonslip stair treads overall. Like everything else these days there are pros and cons. The pros; these are a great size and a great value for the amount that you receive. Nice black color that is easy to see on the wood, day or night. Great length, covering almost the whole board and easy to cut down to size if need be. The roller applicator is phenomenal! I was so happy to see that! I ordered these for a wooden ramp that connects our side deck to our back deck and having used stair treads on that ramp for years I have torn my hands up on those treads that don't come with an applicator. That roller applicator really prevents getting your hands all scraped up. I also really appreciated the edge on that roller; it enables you to get in between the boards if need be and works wonderfully. I did do this on a nice hot sunny day, as always. It allows for much better adhesion. This is where the cons come in. I found the adhesive on these treads to be less than sufficient upon the first rain shower. After the rain there were several treads that didn't remain stuck and lots of edges peeling up from the boards. For inside use this won't be an issue, but for outside on steps or a ramp like I have this is a definite con. The grip is rather good though! These can safely be used on a ramp or steps to gain better traction and prevent falls. They really do need better adhesive though. Better adhesive and these would easily be five stars!

I bought these stair treads to use inside my house, and they have worked really well. They were easy to apply and fit my stairs nicely. The surface has a good grip and feels comfortable underfoot. I also like the simple black color because it matches my home.

These are such a practical idea, especially if you have kids, pets, or anyone who needs a little extra grip on the stairs. I really like that they're clear, so you can add traction without covering up the look of the stairs with bulky carpet treads. As per my photo, you can't even tell there is something there.The strips are a nice wide size and the textured surface gives noticeably more grip underfoot. Installation is straightforward—just make sure the surface is clean and dry before applying them and press them down firmly.I also like that they're made for indoor or outdoor use and are waterproof, which makes the pack much more versatile. You get 15 pieces, so there's enough to cover a good number of steps. A simple safety upgrade without changing the appearance of your stairs.

I was looking to replace some existing stair treads on front porch steps and add stair treads to new set of deck steps at my mother-in-laws house and found these. They are very heavy duty and well made. Appearance is good and the grip looks like it will definitely keep anyone from slipping in wet/frozen weather. They are a deep black color. There is 15 in the pack which is more than enough for what I originally planned for so now I have enough to also do my own steps.

These anti-slip strips are great! They were easy to apply, fit perfectly on my stairs, and the clear design blends nicely with the wood. They provide a good grip and make the stairs feel much safer. Great quality and an excellent value. Highly recommend!

These threads are made of heavy duty plastic with a very rough upper surface. This is truly a non-slip service. The bottom surface has a thin plastic sheet on it that you peel off to apply the tread to the stairs. I got this for use on outside stairs which are a bit bigger than inside stairs. The tread fits nicely in the center of each stair. If applied uniformly to each stair tread, they will enhance the appearance of the staircase

I just built some front steps and wanted to add some grip to keep my parents from slipping when its wet and these were just what i was looking for. I like how easy it is to use them and they have good traction without being too abrasive. I feel like they're a great value for what you get.
