I'm only giving this 3 stars and I haven't even used it yet. We are in the middle of a remodel and I am replacing an 18 year old Hansgrophe system. I know there is a huge price difference between the Hansgrophe and this Delta product but I was completely shocked when I opened the package to find out that everything in this $400 system is PLASTIC. EVERYTHING! For this price range I would have assumed the shower heads and handles would have been made of metal.

Can’t go wrong with Delta. Trusted brand, looks clean and classic. I only wish the cord to the extender spray attachment was less stiff and more naturally movable. Hopefully will loosen up over time. Other than that, gorgeous. Would buy again!

Read the second bullet before you order or you're going to have a bad afternoon. This is trim only. The valve is not in the box and you need Delta's MultiChoice rough, the R22000 series, which is a separate purchase and lives inside your wall. If your shower already has a MultiChoice valve behind it, this is a swap you can do in an hour with the water off and no drywall coming down. If it doesn't, you are opening a wall. That's not a knock on the product, it's just the single thing that decides whether this is an easy weekend or a project. This seems really durable, a great value, and the material is a good fitOnce you're past that, it's Delta and it feels like it. There's real weight in the handle and the diverter, the finish is even into the knurling and the corners, and the champagne bronze is a warm brushed gold rather than the yellow-gold plating that shows fingerprints and wears through at the edges. It's held up to hard water so far with just a wipe. The handle throw is smooth with actual detents rather than a vague slide.The integrated diverter is the smart part of the design, one trim plate instead of a separate diverter handle punched through your tile, and switching between the head and the wand is a quarter turn. Spray settings are genuinely different from each other, the massage has some authority and the pause setting is great for shaving or washing a dog. Six inches is a modest head, so if you want the rainfall experience this isn't that, but flow is strong and even and it doesn't dribble at the outer nozzles like cheaper heads.

I chose champagne bronze in the bathroom this will be installed in.We have the matching hardware for the sinks. The finish is beautiful, and we have had no problems with any of the Delta faucets we have installed so far (Kitchens, and other baths).You can feel the build quality of this unit. We shopped several different units and just the weight difference alone is remarkable. When you see the build of the inards, you see where that weight comes from. Solid brass in much of the components, and the outter pieces are all solid brass/metal. Yes there are some plastic components, but they are minimal.The cost of this unit is substantially more than what you will find in the big box home stores, but these lines of products are built differently, and you won't find this item at those box stores, who only offer the mostly plastic designs.There is a base valve body that is required and not supplied. It can be purchased as a genuine Delta, or one the many knock offs available.
