This Delta shower system has a very clean, streamlined look that feels modern without being trendy. The controls and hardware feel substantial and nicely made, as I would expect from Delta. The packaging is really solid -- nothing will get damaged during shipment -- and the different parts are packaged in a way that you can keep everything organized.The chrome finish is a cant-go-wrong classic as it works with almost any bathroom. A standout feature of this set to me is having the separate handheld sprayer for rinsing the shower.One important thing to understand before ordering is that this is not a complete shower system straight out of the box. The rough-in valve and shower head are not included, so you'll need to purchase the compatible components separately.That's especially worth noting given the price. If you're already planning a bathroom renovation and understand which additional parts you need, though, this is a very attractive foundation for a modern shower setup.

I am reviewing the Delta Modern Round Shower System Faucet Set, Matte Black Shower Head and Handle Set, Valve Trim Kit, Matte Black T342704-BLLHD (Valve and Head Not Included). We have a rental property with a custom tile shower and the sprayer was clogged. After removing and soaking, it remained clogged(probably from extreme hard well water). This Delta set matches the black finished items already in the bathroom. We have several Delta brand items in our bathroom at home and it is our favorite brand for bathroom and kitchen fixtures. The material used is durable and I expect this to last many years.

I ordered this to upgrade the Delta shower kit in my bathroom and have been very happy with it so far. As with all delta products, the quality is top notch and the matte black finish looks great in my bathroom.***Be aware that this kit does NOT include the valve or the shower head. This is a trim kit so all you're getting is the faucet, the shower handle, and the sprayer. It ended up being perfectly compatible with the shower head and valve from my last set.Overall, I'm very happy with this. The water pressure is great, the sprayer is well designed and easy to use, and the installation was simple. The price is reasonable for a Delta product. I'd definitely recommend it if you're in the market for a quality shower system. 5 stars.

This is a beautiful faucet set. I love the black matte finish. I was drawn to it because I liked the look of how they incorporated the diverter handle. The listing also says that the diverter is built in and that it doesn't require any changing to your plumbing.I had picked this and didn't really read in depth. We had recently installed a set in the other bathroom so I knew that it would require a separate valve but I did not look it up prior to getting this. On Amazon, I can find non-Delta brand ones from $60 to $180, which is a significant additional cost to the faucet set itself. It is a lesson to always look at the cost af any additional parts that might be required. My husband said that even though they say the design is unique in that it doesn't require changes to your plumbing, the valve wouldn't fit through the hole. We didn't want to cut on the shower side to enlarge the hole so he removed the panel from the opposite side of the wall in order to access the plumbing. It was also much larger than the existing valve and our hoses don't flex much, so he did have to do a little work. After all that, the rest was fairly smooth. He definitely had to read the instructions on both this and the valve since it is a different setup than the one he put in the other bathroom, which used a single style valve.We also had to purchase a different cover (escucheon) because our existing setup had 2 handles and the included one wouldn't cover those holes. Luckily, they make some that are attractive and I think make it look even nicer. Once it was all installed, we love the look. The handheld sprayer is very narrow compared to most so that seems a little weird, but it works fine. Now that it's done, I'm happy with it, but the cost of the valve was more than double what the valve cost for our other bathroom. The installation also wasn't as easy as we thought it would be.

An absolutely beautiful Delta shower system with spot shield finish in satin nickel. This is the shower system for a dual head system. The main rough in shower valve is not included. We own a number of Delta shower systems, and what really makes them stand out is their limited lifetime warranty and their customer service. Delta has been around for a long time and their limited lifetime warranty covers a lot of different things which I have been pleasantly surprised how above and beyond they go. This system is going to be used when we have to break open a wall to replace the main valve. Since we are facing a small remodel, the no brainer choice was to go with a solid build Delta valve for shower head and diverter valve. If you have a fairly recent delta multi choice universal valve, ask your plumber if you have a compatible valve. Delta may cost a bit more than others, but trust me that it’s worth it when you have to break open a wall to replace the main valve. You don’t want to be doing that too often. The Delta universal valve also has a limited lifetime warranty and will make replacing the outside trim kit easy in the future as it is compatible with all delta systems. The finish of this new spot shield finish will enable our new shower fixtures to look like new for many years, and with a new multi universal delta valve for it should enable this to shower to be running well for decades to come. Beautiful, well built and just reassuring to have a solid company which I know will be around for a long time to come!!

This is such a great shower system and very pretty. Everything came packed well, no scratches or dents on anything. The parts are heavy and nice quality. My husband’s a plumber and said this was easy for him to install. As noted on their website, Make sure to buy the rough-in valve body (that’s what controls everything inside the wall) because what comes in this set is only for the outside. You also need to buy the shower head you’ll want as well for it. Something else to note is that you’ll need to open up the wall because it won’t fit on your existing set up unless it’s the same valve body.The wand is easy to grip it’s not big and bulky. I really like the fact you don’t have to reach up to the shower head to switch over to the wand using the shower diverter. You can take out the water restrictor to give you better water pressure , that’s what we did.This brand is a high quality brand so even though it’s a little pricey including the other things you’ll need to purchase I feel like it’s worth it. It’s very pretty. I received the black Matte black color and it’s very modern looking.

I used this this set in one of our old guest bathrooms that we recently remodeled. It's a 3/4 bath, no tub, just a large shower. Previously it only had a single shower head. I wanted to add a separate handheld sprayer. There are shower head and sprayer combo's that work off a single shower arm, but most of those look a bit cheap, so I went with this set which works great in that bathroom. We can switch between the the shower head and the hand shower, both spray very well and have good pressure. The pressure balancing cartridge works well, temperatures stay consistent. You'll need to buy a shower head and a rough-in valve separately, they aren't included. I used the R22000-WS rough-in. A couple of the bathrooms in the new part of the house use the same valve and cartridges. They have quite a few shower heads available in the same finish, a couple from this Delta Modern collection, and a few in other Delta collections that would also match this handle and trim set very well. I went with the 4-setting round Modern shower head to complete this set, I think that may be the one that comes with the headed version of this set. Almost any shower head would fit on the shower arm though. I had the wall opened anyway for the remodel, so the installation wasn't too difficult. I had to add a new hole in the wall for the hand shower mount and add piping to it. The rough-in valve I used was an easy swap with my old one The handle set and trim and the included cartridges all installed easily on the rough-in valve. The handles move smooth and easy. The finish looks beautiful. It's easy to clean, it doesn't show water spots or finger prints as much as the chrome finish trim we had in here before. It all has a very high quality look and feel to it. I haven't had any drip or leaks. When you add in the price of a rough-in valve and shower head, this set is a bit pricey, but it's well worth it for a name brand premium quality set.
