This coat rack has a gorgeous appearance the solid black walnut wood has a rich, natural grain that adds warmth and sophistication to any entryway, and the matte black hooks create a sleek, modern contrast that looks even better in person than in photos. The quality of materials is clearly premium; it's genuine FAS-grade walnut that doesn't feel cheap or flimsy in any way, and the hooks are sturdy and well-finished with no rough edges.Unfortunately, installation is where things fell apart. The no-drill adhesive mount didn't hold as advertised it eventually gave way under normal use and pulled paint off the wall when it detached, leaving an unexpected mess to clean up. If you have the option to use the hidden screw mount instead, I'd strongly recommend it over relying on the adhesive.As for value for money, the craftsmanship and material quality feel solid for the price, especially compared to similarly styled racks made from lower-grade wood, though the mounting issue does take away from the overall value since it affects usability. On the plus side, the slim wall-mounted design is great for space saving — it doesn't take up any floor space and keeps coats, bags, and hats organized vertically, which is ideal for smaller entryways.In terms of durability, the rack itself feels sturdy and capable of holding daily use items without issue once properly secured. My concerns are entirely with the adhesive mounting method rather than the product's actual construction. Overall, a beautiful, well-made piece that would easily earn 5 stars if the installation were more reliable.

We use this in our bathroom and it is great for towels and other shower accessories! Installation was fairly easy but you need to make your own template for where to drill the holes into the walls, I wish it came with a template like many other items do. That aside though, this is very sturdy and well made and the wood is so smooth!

I hung this coat rack in my entryway last week and I am really happy with it. The material is genuine black walnut and you can tell right away it is not some thin veneer over particle board. It has real weight to it and the wood grain looks warm and rich against my light colored walls.Easy to install was actually true for once. The kit came with screws and wall anchors, plus a no drill adhesive option if you do not want to put holes in your wall. I went with the screws since I wanted it to feel permanent, and it only took about fifteen minutes from start to finish with a level and a drill.As for durability and sturdiness, my whole family has been hanging coats, backpacks and dog leashes on it every single day for a week and it has not budged or loosened at all. The five hooks have a solid weight capacity too. I tested it with two heavy winter coats stacked on one hook just to see, and it held without sagging.My only small note is that the hooks sit a little close together, so bulky coats without a hanger loop can crowd the ones next to them. If you have a big family with heavy jackets, you might want to space people out across the hooks rather than filling every one.For the price, this feels like real value for money next to the flimsier metal racks I looked at first. Five stars from me, it looks like something you would find in a boutique hotel and it is holding up beautifully so far.

The coat rack is well made and free of any imperfections in the wood or metal pegs that hold your garments. The packaging included a nice cardboard box and fabric sleeve protecting the rack. All hardware for mounting is also included. The wood stain finish is very nice and would blend in well with other dark woods or walnut stains. The metal pegs seem very robust and sturdy, I currently use the rack to hold all of my baseball caps. The pegs are evenly spaced to accommodate a large variety of garments. I removed 1 star because the mounting holes in the back of the rack only accommodate wall stud spacing of 24". The included mounting hardware includes plaster inserts if you can't hit a wall stud but those are not very sturdy regardless of brand and type.

I really like this coat rack. It has a clean, modern look with the black hooks and walnut finish, and it looks much nicer than the basic metal racks you usually see. This is a really nice coat rack, albeit with some oddities I didn't expect.The wood color/finish and the hooks are very nice and seem to be high quality. I'm very happy with how this looks.I question whether the hooks are placed too closely together, but will have to continue to evaluate this more as time goes on. Overall this is on the small side, but perfect for those smaller space applications.Strangely, the rack came inside a cloth bag. I personally think that's pretty unnecessary, as I'm not sure what I will do with a long skinny cloth bag after the rack is installed, and that seems pretty wasteful and unnecessary to me. This isn't something that needs a nice long term storage option....?! I hope the seller stops including those.Also, for the screwless application, two vials of glue are included. I actually haven't seen this before- typically things to mount to walls include some kind of mounting tape option rather than actual glue. I personally would be reluctant to use the glue option.This will suit my needs overall and is attractive, hence the 5 star rating. I will be putting it into a small space using the screws. Now to figure out what to do with that cloth storage bag once it's installed! 😂

I am VERY impressed with the quality of this wall mount. The wood is heavy and sturdy, well-finished and looks VERY well-made. Screws and such are included, and I couldn't wait to put this up in my hallway by the door. The only problem I am having is the size - as pictured, a coat is hanging by a neck hang tag, and that seems to look quite uncluttered. But for winter coats that DON'T have a hang tag, like most of mine and my husband's coats, the wall mount just seems too small between hooks - ergo, I think it might be more perfect to hang decorative items, smaller childrens' coats, hats, scarves, etc than my husband's big coats, unless each coat uses two of the hooks. Nevertheless, it is such a good quality piece, and I shall easily find another place to use it. Make certain of the size (I unfortunately did not) and rest assured that this is an excellent piece!
