I specifically wanted a large ceiling fan without a light for our covered back room living area, and this 72-inch Fanawi has worked out very well. I like the simple three-blade design, and the solid wood blades give it a much nicer appearance than the typical plastic-blade fan. It looks substantial without making the ceiling feel cluttered.Installation went smoothly and, in my case, I was able to use the existing mounting point without having to make any changes. The included downrod options are helpful for getting the fan positioned properly, and the three-blade design also keeps the overall fan relatively lightweight for its size.Once installed, it moves an impressive amount of air and remains surprisingly quiet. Even at the higher speeds, there is very little vibration or motor noise. The reversible motor is useful for changing the airflow direction with the seasons, and the remote makes it easy to adjust the speed or use the timer without getting up.For a large room or covered living space where the main goal is good air circulation rather than adding another light fixture, this is a very nice option. I especially like the clean appearance, quiet operation, and the amount of airflow it produces.

As a tester for Amazon I am able to try things that for various reasons I might not otherwise order and this fan would probably have fallen into that category. Its not that the fan is bad but the price is way more than I would pay for one, especially one without a light. With that said, I still decided to give it four stars because it is such a cool looking fan; it reminds me of an old fashioned airplane prop. I put it up in the shop but it looks so cool that I am trying to figure out where we can put it in the house - without a light it does make it challenging and probably will for most people. Its a very large fan, easily the biggest fan I have ever installed. The remote is basic and gives you just enough control to do what you need and that's all that can be expected. So in general I would say that if you have the space that doesn't need ceiling lighting and if the price isn't an issue for you, I am quite certain you will like this fan.

This fan will instantly update and upgrade any space you put it in. It is just so sleek and modern looking down to every detail. From the moment you unbox it you will immediately notice the quality of the real wood fan blades, as I proceeded to screw each fan blade onto the fan motor once again could see and feel the quality and design how well this was made. Now for the best part, completing the build and hanging the fan was a breeze (pun intended). I stood back, took a look and said, WoW this is beautiful. I turned it on and away it spun into a cool summer breeze. I can not express anymore how this fan is truly a work of art. Stay cool.

Sorry no pictures because this is part of a remodel project in my living room that includes paining the ceiling but trust me, this thing is gorgeous. The fit and finish of the perfectly engineered parts set it apart from smaller, cheaper fans. My main career was actually dealing with industrial fans of all types and I can tell you that this was most likely designed by a fan engineer, not just someone who thought "blades, angled" or something. On high speed this moves a LOT of air. Great performance. The remote control gives you six speeds in each direction as well as timers. When my living room is finished I have no doubt that this fan will be the focal point. At SIX FEET in diameter it is quite the presence, and one that speaks quality while sitting still or running. Yes it is pricey but this is truly a "get what you pay for" situation made for big, nice spaces.

I picked this 72-inch ceiling fan for my garage, and it does a great job over my work area. This is a full featured ceiling fan with lovely wooden fan blades. There is no light kit included however a remote control allows access to all functions without resorting to the wall switch or wires.The fan is exceptionally quiet in operation, barely a hum however it is very efficient at moving air and does a great job of ventilating a room.Installation is straightforward so long as you have a fan ready ceiling box and switch already wired. The fan comes with a couple of different mounting option depending upon ceiling height and all components are included in the box.It is a very attractive design--simple and mid century modern-- and almost looks like a propeller from an old fashioned plane. This will go with most decors and styles though the old fashioned cast iron ceiling fan may be called for in certain classic situations.It's quite expensive as ceiling fans go and assessing whether this is a great value will depend mostly upon your own taste. It seems exceptionally well made, comes with easy to understand instructions and may or may not be suitable for hanging outdoors in protected areas--the manual and listing on Amazon are not quite explicit about that.I happen to think it is well worth the price.
