[Set name: SUB 1500SS Flush Kit]
I finally got around to flushing my tankless water heater, and this kit made the whole process way less of a headache. Everything you need is right in the box, and the setup was honestly pretty smooth. The pump feels solid and the hoses don't feel cheap, so I'm not worried about anything springing a leak halfway through the job.I really like that the whole thing is adjustable and fits together well. It's the perfect size to tuck away in the garage when I'm done. It's a straightforward, sturdy setup that does exactly what it's supposed to do, and I've had zero issues with it since I started using it.

I ordered this kit because I wanted one simple setup instead of piecing together hoses, a pump, and a bucket myself. It arrived with the useful parts together, and the first thing I noticed was that the stainless steel pump felt solid and well made.Setup was easier than I expected. I connected the hoses, filled the bucket, and got the circulation going without much fuss. The pump moved the solution well and ran smoothly. I kept checking the connections because I expected at least one small drip, but everything stayed dry. That was a nice surprise. The hoses felt durable and flexible, not cheap or stiff. The adapters fit securely, and the bucket was actually useful for both the job and storing everything afterward. Even the lid opener came in handy, which is one of those little extras you do not think about until you need it.The whole kit has a thoughtful feel to it. It turned a task I had been putting off into a pretty manageable afternoon project, with time left for a cold drink afterward. For the money, it feels like a great value because it has the key equipment in one package and seems built to handle repeat use.

The complete kit makes it easy to flush out my On Demand Water Heater. All items necessary are included except a wrench which maybe needed to turn the valves. I like that descaler powder, hoses, pump, bucket etc. are included. Instructions were pretty straight forward. The only problem I had was an airlock in my hot water heater, which was not the fault of the stainless steel immersible pump. I would purchase the kit again.

Worked great

This set saved the day on my tankless water heater. I was getting a low flow error and realized it had been two years since serving the newly installed heater. I was glad to read online that you should buy the stronger hardware store vinegar and dilute it down. The household food mixture is only 3% or 4%. Check your water heater directions but I was told to not back-flush but rather loop the vinegar mixture in the normal flow of water. The pump is really strong so I would recommend adding a marble or something to get it slightly off the bottom of the bucket. Otherwise it can limit the intake water flow. It includes all the accessories needed to get the job done except for your choice of descaling liquid. As I noted before get the 30% vinegar from a hardware store and dillute to the proper concentration of your water heater manufacturer.

This is a well-designed kit that includes everything needed to flush and maintain a tankless water heater. The stainless steel pump is a great feature, especially when using acidic cleaning solutions designed to remove mineral scale.Pros:* Complete kit with pump, adapters, and necessary accessories* Powerful 1,500 GPH pump provides good circulation* Stainless steel construction helps resist corrosion from acidic solutions* Makes routine tankless water heater maintenance easier* Helps remove scale buildup and maintain efficiencyCons:* Requires some basic knowledge of tankless water heater maintenance* Cleaning solution is not includedMany homeowners don’t realize that tankless water heaters require regular flushing to remove mineral buildup and keep them operating efficiently. I have a water softener, so I only need to perform this maintenance about every five years, but it is still an important part of keeping the system running properly. This kit includes everything you need to perform a tankless water heater flush. The pump has plenty of flow for circulating a cleaning solution through the heat exchanger, and the included adapters make connecting it to the service ports straightforward. In the past, I have used vinegar for flushing, but there are also specialty cleaners made specifically for tankless water heaters. Regardless of which approved cleaning solution you choose, having the right equipment makes the process much easier. One feature I especially like about this kit is the stainless steel pump. Since flushing solutions are typically acidic to dissolve scale, having a pump that can better tolerate those chemicals is a major advantage compared with lower-quality pumps that may corrode over time.Overall, this is a great maintenance kit for anyone with a tankless water heater. Regular flushing helps prevent scale buildup, maintain efficiency, and extend the life of the system. This kit makes a job that many people overlook much simpler to do correctly.

I noticed our tankless water heater was starting to take longer to heat up and the water pressure felt a bit low, which usually means it is overdue for a descaling flush. I did get two quotes from local plumbing companies for the job and they quoted me $600 and 300+! I figured it couldn't be that complicated, as its a common basic maintenance job, so I selected this complete flushing kit to handle it myself over the weekend. The standout feature of this kit is definitely the stainless steel pump. It feels incredibly solid, heavy duty, and has plenty of power to cycle the cleaning solution through the heater lines without straining. The included three gallon bucket is rugged, and having the lid opener included is a nice touch so you aren't tearing up your fingers trying to pry it open. The hoses are thick, flexible, and didn't kink while running, and the brass adapters threaded onto my heater's service valves perfectly without a single drip. One major tip if you are doing this for the first time: make absolutely sure you close the main water supply valves to the house and turn off the gas or electricity to the heater before you hook anything up. Let the cleaning solution circulate for at least forty-five minutes to an hour to really break down the calcium buildup. For under ninety dollars, this kit pays for itself after just one use, and the components are durable enough that I will be using it for years to come.

The 6699 1500SS Tankless Water Heater Flush Kit is a complete solution. The flush kit arrived in excellent condition, all kit parts inside a functional plastic bucket (with lid) and the bucket safely packaged inside a heavy duty cardboard box. Perfect! The flush kit includes all items needed to flush a tankless water heater. Everything from a bucket lid opener to descaler crystals is included. And all these items are easily stored inside the bucket between flushes. A very nice instruction manual is also included, especially good for new tankless water heater owners like me!The submersible pump is a beautiful and unique enclosed stainless steel design with a carry handle. The power cord is a good length, and two plastic hose fittings are included. These fittings screw into the top of the pump and provide hose attachment options. The hot & cold water hoses are right at 6 feet in length, and built very well. The descaler crystals provided should provide a few years of flushing operations before new crystals are needed. And lastly, the bucket not only stores all kit items, but is also used during the flushing operation...a multi-functional bucket! The bucket even has a carry handle for convenience. This is a well-designed and well-equipped kit. And, if needed, 6699 offers the 2000SS kit, a little upgrade to this 1500SS kit. I look forward to my first tankless water heat experience using the 1500SS kit!
