This is a really solid work stand. It feels much sturdier than I expected, and I like the wide design because it gives you plenty of room for larger pieces without everything feeling precariously balanced.The biggest benefit for me is that it folds. Shop equipment has an incredible ability to consume every available inch of floor space, so anything I can collapse and put away when I'm not using it automatically earns points.It feels stable while you're working and is useful for more than just auto body work. Great for holding bumpers, panels, projects, or anything else you need up at a comfortable working height. Simple design, but really useful.

I’ve been using this for a work table with a piece of plywood and makes the perfect height for me. From laying hand tools on it to marking material to cut it has been used way more than I thought it would be. This has become a necessity on the job site for me.

I have been using this as a general work stand, holding lumber while I cut and then holding the same pieces while I paint and finish them. The frame is genuinely heavy duty, square steel tube with real substance to it, and the powder coating is even the whole way around with no thin spots or bare edges. The four chains are what make it work, because once you set the width and lock them off the frame stays put with no wobble to fight, and the two webbing straps across the top are decent quality rather than an afterthought. Assembly was straightforward overall, though a few of the pieces were slightly annoying to fit together and needed some persuading before they lined up. It is rated to 750 pounds and I have not come anywhere close to testing that, so I cannot speak to the top of its range. It is built to fold flat for storage, which I have not needed to do yet. For holding boards steady while I work on them, it has done exactly what I needed.

This stand is heavy duty and solid. Slightly annoying to assemble due to burrs inside a tubing connection and a slight dent in the end of one insert tube. Padding and straps are nice and the stand is not wobbly. I did not yet install the chains as they are basically redundant and the hooks get in the way of folding. Here's the flaw: I have two standard workbenches and a table saw that are all at the same height. This stand is TOO TALL for use with materials on those key items, and there is NO downward adjustment due to the fixed length of the straps. The only remedy is to replace the straps. Other stands I have (saw horses, take-off stand, etc are all adjustable to the range of the standard equipment, so this was an unexpected issue.

I already own a similar folding work stand, so I had a pretty good idea of what to expect. What sets this one apart are the padded top surfaces and the included safety chains. Both are nice upgrades that make it feel a little more refined and better suited for automotive work. The padding helps protect painted parts and body panels, while the chains add stability and help keep the stand securely positioned during use.I haven't loaded it up with anything particularly heavy yet, but my initial impression is that it's very sturdy. The frame feels solid, the construction is robust, and there doesn't appear to be any excessive flex or wobble. The adjustable design is also nice for accommodating different parts and projects.Another feature I appreciate is that it folds flat for storage. Shop space is always limited, and it's easy to tuck this away when not in use. The powder-coated finish and overall build quality give me confidence that it should hold up well over time.Overall, this is a well-designed work stand with a few thoughtful improvements over similar models I've used. If you're looking for a stand for bumpers, body panels, painting, sanding, or general garage projects, this is a solid option and an easy five-star recommendation.

This folding work stand is a very nice additional to a DIYer's home work setting. The stand is advertised for mainly use with auto body repair work but I plan to use it for wood construction work around the house. I can't see myself needing it for auto body work around the house that often. In terms of holding to 750 pounds, I don't know if I would test that weight limit. It should hold quite a bit of weight but I don't think 750 pounds would be safe to try. If anything I could see the hinge points failing and it possibly collapsing in. Despite that, it should hold a good amount of weight. I like the powder coated finish on the legs and the angled feet. The chains are a nice touch but seem a little overkill. Overall, a good quality folding work stand and a good value for the money.

Very strong and solid steel version of a double sawhorse. It could have been great but for a couple of unfortunate design flaws. This stand sets up as 36 inches high, limited by the length of the straps across the top. There are four chains, two per X-shaped legs, that are supposed to provide strength and adjustability. Because of the strap length, it can only but adjusted upward. 36 inches is kitchen counter height, not bad, but it would be nice to be able to lower the height. Raising 5he height is possible but not a great idea… that brings the legs together so the width of the supporting structure is reduced: fully open for the 36 inches high height, the supports on the floor are 21 1/2 inches wide (center of each leg). Raising the height to 37 inches brings the bottom of the legs together a distance of about 18 1/2 inches, on the verge of being unstable. Another inch in height brings the feet together Another two inches closer.The straps should be longer, allowing the work surface to be lower, then the adjustment could be higher without affecting stability so much.Also, the “adjustable” hooks that hold the chain are open. As soon as you fold up the stand to move it or store it, the chains will fall off… annoying. Squeeze the hooks into circles. As it is, for the chains to do any good, even at full height, you have to close up one link (top chains) and two links (bottom chains) and screw the hooks all the way in (saves you from having to close the hooks), but that leaves four open threads sticking out 5/8 of an inch from the nuts on the legs. Ripped pants, scratched legs…Two small design changes would make this a great product. As it is, it’s a nice alternative to a pair of sawhorses but it could be so much better.
