I really like the look of this ceiling light, the floral design is so pretty & with the open grate style of the fixture, it will provide a lot of light. If you don't care for being able to see the bulbs through the floral grate, you can easily add a diffuser disc, I'm debating whether I want to do that myself or not. As a senior with some health issues, there are a few things I cannot (or will not) do myself - and hooking up any kind of electrical fixture is something I leave to a handyman or electrician, so I'm forced to wait a little while until I'm able to have someone come in & install this light for me.I usually don't even care for black items very much - but I really do like this light! The ceiling fixture in my hall died, and I am thinking of putting this one in there. I've got two fixtures to have installed & I'm still not certain which one will go in which place! If this goes in my hall, I will likely leave it fully open -- if it goes in the other room, I will probably put a thin diffuser disc over the bottom.The metal all feels very strong & substantial. From looking it all over, I think this is a very well-built fixture & would be a classy addition to any home!

Excellent value for the money. This light is a fantastic, affordable way to step up your room's decor, and the installation was very easy and straightforward. It completely upgraded my bedroom, swapping out the typical 'boob light' for a much more refreshed and stylish living space. The geometric design is beautiful and provides plenty of light.

Beautifully made cutout black metal adds to the updated decor throughout my home. This light has been mounted above my stairs that head up to my vaulted ceiling. It looks great there as it is the correct size at 12.6 inches across. I had my son mount this light for me because he is a Certified Journeyman Electrician, but I could have done it myself. It's not difficult. All of the parts are well made and strong. I really like that this light has a cutout metal finish to it. It looks so unique and is just gorgeous. I'm really glad to have this light. Everyone that comes into my home has complimented it and wants to know where I got it. You won't regret getting one for yourself. Just make sure that the size will work for wherever you're planning on mounting it.

I received this 12.6" Gold Accent Flush Mount Ceiling Light through the Amazon Vine program in exchange for my honest review.I bought my house about three years ago, and after tackling the major "must fix/change now" list, I'm slowly working my way through the functional-but-not-my-style items. Hallway lighting has been creeping up the list, but there are only so many variations of the dreaded "circular dome light with center connector" I'm willing to tolerate. Finding something that fits my style has been more of a hunt than I expected.I love this light. It's elegant with just a little bit of whimsy. The black finish is rich and looks beautiful.Installation was very easy and took me less than 20 minutes. I have some electrical training from technical college, so I was comfortable with the process, but anyone reasonably handy should be able to tackle it. I simply replaced the existing bracket inside the electrical box with the provided bracket and attachment stem, connected the three wires, and installed the fixture.The mounting bracket provides solid support for the light, so once it's installed correctly, the fixture feels secure and stable. As always with a ceiling fixture, follow the manufacturer's installation instructions and make sure the electrical box and mounting hardware are appropriate for the fixture.I initially used standard LED bulbs I already had on hand, and honestly, I didn't love the look. I purchased Edison-style LED bulbs instead, and what a difference! The combination of the fixture and the Edison bulbs gives the hallway a much more intentional, decorative look.Changing the bulbs is also surprisingly easy. The sockets rotate downward, so you don't have to awkwardly squeeze your hand into the fixture or sacrifice a few knuckles to the lighting gods.
