Waterproofing my birdbathWaterproofing my birdbath

[Size: 32 FL OZ, Size: 32 FL OZ]
This is a good size bucket of waterproof sealant for doing some simple projects around the house or yard. I have an older birdbath that has developed cracks in the bottom. I hate to toss it out because it holds sentimental value from a loved one. I saw this and decided I would try it. I like that it goes on rather thick so that it can get down into the cracks to seal them as it dries. If all goes well with the sealing, I want to fill the bottom with some river rock pebbles to cover the ugly parts. I know the birds don't care as long as there is water!I read over the kit and it comes with everything you need to start working including a stir stick, a brush and a foam roller with handle. It is low VOC, which is good. The thing that is never mentioned on any of the outside of the container, or on the small one sheet directions paper is how you clean this up. I feel like that makes the brushes and rollers just a throw away item. I don't think I have ever purchased any product like this that didn't tell you how to clean it off of you if you accidentally get it on yourself or your clothes. It does say "easy cleanup" and it's water soluble so maybe just soap and water to clean up. Just be careful to not get it on yourself in case. The product seems expensive at $60 for 32oz, in my opinion

This clear protective sealant gives professional results for DIY crafters.

[Size: 32 FL OZ]
This protective coating delivers exceptional performance while maintaining the authentic appearance of handcrafted materials, drying completely clear to preserve the natural texture and inherent beauty of brick, wood, and tile pieces. The transparency ensures your carefully crafted projects showcase their original character without any artificial sheen or color distortion that might compromise your artistic vision.Application proves remarkably straightforward and versatile, accommodating whatever method works best for your specific project needs. Whether you prefer brushing for detailed work, rolling for larger surfaces, or spraying for even coverage, this coating adapts seamlessly to your preferred technique. The user-friendly application eliminates the need for specialized equipment, complicated preparation, or professional installation, making it genuinely accessible for DIY enthusiasts at any skill level. The cured finish creates a flexible yet heavy-duty protective barrier that stands up to demanding environmental conditions. Living in Florida means subjecting outdoor projects to relentless UV exposure, and this coating consistently withstands those intense rays without developing the cracking or degradation that plagues lesser products. The flexibility prevents the brittleness that often leads to protective coating failure over time.Versatility across project types makes this coating particularly valuable for crafters who work with diverse materials and applications. From delicate indoor decorative frames requiring gentle protection to rugged outdoor garden crafts and gutters facing harsh weather exposure, the same product delivers reliable performance. This consistency eliminates the need to stock multiple specialized coatings for different project requirements. For DIY crafters seeking invisible, long-lasting protection that won't alter the appearance of their handmade creations, this coating provides professional-grade results with home-friendly application methods.

Easy sealingEasy sealing

[Size: 16 FL OZ, Size: 16 FL OZ]
Comes with a few items to help with projects. The brush and roller are pretty decent. The sealer had an inner lid/seal which I'm not sure how you're supposed to remove since I couldn't do so with any provided tool or my hands, but I was able to do so with pliers. The sealer has a consistency similar to hand soap. There's almost no odor to it, though it does still say you should apply it in a well ventilated area.I used it on a wooden crate and a little bit of sealer goes a long way, about half a tablespoon worth of the sealer seemed to cover a square foot of surface in my observation. In direct sunlight (which probably you aren't supposed to do) the sealer would start to get tacky after a few minutes and after a few hours was dry to the touch. After 24 hours it should be cured. The sealed surface is smooth with a semi-gloss sheen to it and there are some brush lines visible but hard to notice if it goes with the grain of the wood, though I may have used too much sealer which caused that.In some areas the sealer wasn't spread thin, such as in cracks or corners, but after 24 hours they all hardened and were not an issue.

Generic Box, Good Product

[Size: 32 FL OZ]
We had a leak at work and this patched it. It's meant for more mobile structures like campers but frankly work is work, a lot of the structure is what you would expect for a cab stand: "utilitarian" in other words cheap but works. No more leak. A cheap quick leak solution for e.g. metal construction like one of our storage areas.I may have to re-do it in a year or two, I would not be surprised because it's meant for temporary structures. However, its a big enough bucket that I can repatch that leaking spot a dozen times.Need a quick fix for a leaking roof? This is cheap and fast. It will at least get you over the rain storm till you can actually get a proper roofing job done if that's what you need, and if all you need is a quick repair for e.g. a camper, mobile home, metal shed, this works great.Although I used it for a metal shed, the product also works on brick an wood. I think it's best use would be: prevention. Namely to find the weak spots in your roof or wall and coat them in this translucent sealant to stop leaks before they happen. One caveat: if you have mold remediate it thoroughly first and only then try to use sealant. Otherwise you might be sealing in the problem you're trying to repair.Great product. Quick fix, Prevention, can be used in remediation scenarios too.

Easy to apply and dries clearEasy to apply and dries clear

[Size: 32 FL OZ, Size: 32 FL OZ]
This transparent waterproof sealant is a practical option for small repairs where you want protection without covering up the original surface. The clear finish is the main reason to choose it over a colored coating, especially on brick, tile, concrete, or other visible areas. The consistency makes it easy to spread with a brush or roller. It can work into small cracks, gaps, and porous spots without requiring any special tools. Surface preparation is important, though. The area needs to be clean and completely dry before applying it.It is also worth taking the time to apply an even coat instead of rushing through the job. Like most sealants, it needs sufficient curing time before being exposed to water, so this is not something to apply right before rain is expected.Once dry, the coating is much less noticeable than paint or a thick patching product. It helps preserve the natural color and texture of the surface, which is useful when appearance matters. The container and application process are fairly straightforward for a DIY project. Cleanup and careful brushing around edges can take a little patience, but overall it is manageable even if you do not have much experience with waterproof coatings. For the price, this seems best suited to targeted household maintenance and smaller problem areas rather than major leaks or structural damage. It is a useful clear coating for minor cracks and moisture entry points, as long as the surface is prepared properly and the product is given enough time to cure.

Waterproofs any masonry surface

[Size: 32 FL OZ]
I ordered this sealer to line the insides of some terracotta pots I have. Doing so helps keep the plant from drying out in the hot summers we have here in Florida. I’ve done a few so far and the sealer has worked out well. It dries to a transparent but glossy finish, not that it matters for my application. As expected, the outside of the pots are bone dry even after judiciously watering the plants inside. No water was seeps through. I have no doubt the sealer would work on any masonry material. It is water based so I was able to clean up using soap and warm water. A good product I will find many uses for.

Clear Coat, Serious Raincoat

[Size: 32 FL OZ]
Brushed ‌that ‌32 ‌fl oz clear sealant over little areas of brick and concrete, wood too plus some tile. Surfaces were clean and dry first. It went on see-through. Once dry the finish hardly showed at all, colors and textures remained visible underneath; water just beaded right up on those spots. Handy for keeping moisture off walls or steps, patios, all sorts of little home fixes. One container covers touch-ups and small projects fine though bigger surfaces like full walls or roofs would call for extra bottles. Putting it on felt straightforward enough. Still even coats matter along with getting the surface ready properly if you want good results. A chemical odor hit at the start so better to do this outside or with plenty of air moving through. It's just a protective layer after all. Won't seal up cracks or fix loose mortar nothing like serious leaks. After some light splashing the finish held up okay. Long term though that depends on the weather hitting it and how the surface was to begin with. For the price it works as a simple do-it-yourself choice. Leaves a finish you barely notice without the big visual shift thick sealants often cause.
