I have gotten a few different types of black modern door handles and this is in my top 2 favorites, the design just look clean and minimalist. also the extended base plate looks way more modern. I have been looking at door handles for well over 6 months trying to find a minimal and modern design that would look sleek and bring the renovation to a more modern look. All the handles at the store look generic or overpriced for the nicer options. The good - pros- material is solid and built pretty well, the coating looks so good and gives it the modern look i was after with out drawing too much attention, the color is perfect and goes will with other accessories, the opperation and comfort are decent nothing extremely memorable just normal use, the fitment was good for the most part you may have to make adjustment on depending on what you had in there before. so far ive been using them 2 weeks and no durability issue yet, these are worth every penny as long as you arent trying to use these at a business or have children that like to hang from the door handles.

This is for the matte black privacy handle.The handle arrived well packaged with no damage.This was a well made door handle set, with excellent metal work all over along with clean consistent black finish. It included all parts and hardware for installation.The handle is lightweight, all metal and uses a small thumb dial on the interior handle that you can turn to lock the door. The lock can be bypassed by using a coin or similar object to turn the opposite side of the same dial from the exterior side. While locked, the handle cannot be opened from the inside until you turn the dial.A very nice door handle, simple design with clean, straight lines - very modern. It worked well and did not feel fragile.Installation was extremely easy and took about 5 minutes.Yes, the latch plate has squared corners, so if your door has rounded corners, you will need a chisel also.

The hardware that comes in the box is complete, the screws are the right length, and the latch adjusted to the backset without any fuss. Everything lined up on the first try, which is not always how these go.The privacy lock is the part I care most about and it works cleanly. The push button engages with a solid click and the outside release does what it should if someone gets locked in. There is no vagueness in the mechanism where you are left wondering whether it actually caught. The knob turns smoothly with no grinding and the return spring snaps back firmly.I liked the first one enough that I ordered another for our closet door. Two doors in now and both feel the same, which tells me the quality is consistent rather than luck of the draw.Only thing worth flagging is that the long plate covers more of the door than a standard rosette, so if you are replacing an older knob you may see a mark or finish difference where the previous hardware sat. Not an issue on a freshly painted door, but worth thinking about beforehand.Good hardware at a reasonable price and I would buy more.
