Tested and I love the look

[Size: U-White-10M]
These are so nice. Although i havent installed them yet, I tested them. Its clean and the lights shine through. It does dim a bit but the trade off for the clean look will be worth it. They are great to install in a gaming room, movie room, or a kids bedroom. Adults bedrooms will also look good if done right. Im going to install these in my built in bookshelves.

Good channel, but I received the wrong colorGood channel, but I received the wrong color

[Size: U-White-10M, Size: U-White-10M]
This is good LED strip channel, but I’m knocking a star because I ordered silver/white and received black/smoke. I think the seller probably just mislabeled some of their inventory with the wrong FNSKU so this will probably all get ironed out, but it’s always annoying to get the wrong item. That said, the black channel with smoke lens actually looks pretty great as long as that’s what you want. I’ll find a situation to use this stuff. Its standard strip channel, fits up to 12mm wide strip, comes with a variety of mounting hardware, lenses have a protective film. There’s a bit of cutting swarf, but not bad at all and no shipping damage.

Excellent channel system with a clean modern look

[Size: U-Black-10M]
I installed these channels with cabinet lighting and was impressed by how professional the finished project looked. The diffuser softens the light nicely, the aluminum construction feels durable, and installation was straightforward. The channels help protect the LED strips while improving overall appearance. For quality, appearance, ease of installation, and value for money, they exceeded my expectations.

Premium Looking LED Channels That Diffuse Light Beautifully

[Size: U-Black-10M]
I used these LED channels recessed into wooden boards I was building for a bar shelf, and I'm extremely happy with how the finished project turned out. These are an excellent solution if you want LED strip lighting to look more finished and professional instead of simply sticking bare LED strips onto a surface. The channels themselves feel surprisingly premium for the price. The black finish looks especially nice against wood and gives the installation a very clean appearance. The individual sections also fit together well, which made installing a longer continuous run straightforward. The diffuser is probably the most important part, and it works extremely well. Instead of seeing individual LED "hot spots," the cover blends the LEDs into a much smoother, more evenly distributed line of light. On my bar shelf, this creates a really nice effect and evenly illuminates the bottles rather than having obvious individual LEDs reflecting everywhere.I'm also impressed that the diffuser doesn't noticeably kill the brightness. I've used other LED channels where the covers softened the light so much that I lost a significant amount of usable output. These still allow plenty of light through while providing the diffusion I wanted. You also get a lot for the money. Similar U-shaped LED channels can cost considerably more, and this kit included essentially everything I needed to complete the installation. There are a couple of areas that could be improved. The included mounting clips feel somewhat flimsy compared with the channels themselves, and I really wish they matched the black finish instead of standing out. The 90-degree connecting pieces also feel cheaper than the rest of the kit. They work, but they're definitely not as premium feeling as the actual aluminum channels. Those are relatively minor complaints, though. The most important components, the channels and diffusers, are excellent.Overall, I'm extremely pleased with these. They turned basic LED strips into a clean, professional-looking lighting installation, provide excellent diffusion without sacrificing much brightness, and look fantastic installed in wood. For the price, I think these are an excellent value.

The Difference Between a DIY LED Strip and a Finished Installation

[Size: U-White-10M]
Bare LED strip around the shelving in my apartment maker area looked temporary until I put it into these aluminum channels. The bare strip worked, but every diode and small wave in the adhesive line was visible once the lights came on. Mounting the strip in straight aluminum sections protected the edge, gave me a repeatable line, and made the installation look like part of the shelving instead of a temporary strip stuck to it. The diffusers also softened the individual points of light enough to make the whole run look more finished. The ten 3.3-foot sections are useful because they can cover a larger room feature or be divided among several smaller projects. I planned the layout around the joints before cutting anything, which kept me from ending the run with one awkward short section. The channel also provides some heat spreading for the strip, although it does not replace correct power sizing or the thermal requirements of a high-output LED installation. The distance between the LEDs and diffuser affects how continuous the line appears. A densely populated strip can blend smoothly in a shallow channel, while widely spaced diodes may still show individual bright points through a frosted cover. That is not a defect in the channel by itself. It is a design relationship between strip density, diffuser opacity, channel depth, and viewing distance. I tested one short section before installing the rest so I could see the diode spacing through the diffuser at the actual viewing distance.Strip width is the first compatibility check. I compared the inside channel dimension with my actual LED strip, connector bulk, and coating before cutting the aluminum. The diffuser also changes the result. It softens hotspots and protects the strip, but it can reduce apparent brightness, so the lighting plan should account for that. When cutting aluminum, I deburr the edge before feeding wires through it, and I use enough clips or screws to keep the sections straight rather than relying on one attachment point at each end.The kit solves the visual and mechanical problems that make otherwise good LED projects look temporary. Cabinets, shelves, wall accents, and maker projects benefit most, provided the layout is measured and cut cleanly. It does require measurement and clean installation, but the finished effect is worth that extra work.

Surface mounted lighting

[Size: U-White-10M]
This channel is a more typical surface mounted light strip holder. No fancy mounting requirements, quick and easy install.Cut to length easily and screw it in place. The diffuser smooths out the light effect for an even glow. You get ten 3' strips and clips for mounting. For difficult spaces you may be better off using double sided glue strips. The diffuser simply snaps in place after installing your light strip.Great for closets where you can add it down the side of the door frame and light up multiple shelves, reducing dark spots at the bottom. Not an attempt to teach the how-to some may need, but adding a roller lever switch to turn the light on when you open the door is a plus. Maybe someone will see this and make a kit for the simple DIY'ers out there. Or motion sensor...Anyway, they is a simple strip for simple needs at a price anyone can afford for the neat clean look you deserve.
