This handle is gorgeous, well-made, and I just love how it turned out! I ordered this for our master bathroom door and paired it with a knurled matte black and brass square rosette knob that I also found here on Amazon for the main bedroom door.I wanted a sleek lever style for the bathroom, but I wanted both doors in the suite to coordinate with that classy black and gold two-tone finish. They aren't right next to each other, but walking into the bedroom and seeing how they complement each other is just beautiful. You wouldn't think a door handle could make such a big difference, but it really is like the jewelry accent to an outfit—it catches your eye the moment you walk into the room. The lever has a solid, heavy feel in your hand, and the latch mechanism operates smoothly with no sticking. The push-button privacy lock is easy to engage from the inside and releases easy when you turn the handle. My husband installed it it fit right into our standard door cutout so he was done pretty quickly.I am so pleased with both of my door hardware orders, especially this one!I hope these real-world details help you make the right pick! 🤗

I bought this matte black privacy knob a few weeks ago to replace an old builder-grade brass handle on our guest bathroom door, and it made an immediate visual difference. The circular ring design looks very clean and modern, and the matte black finish doesn't attract obvious fingerprints. The hardware feels substantial and heavy in your hand rather than hollow or cheap, and the internal spring mechanism turns smoothly and latches firmly into the door frame without rattling.Installation was straightforward and took about 10 minutes with just a basic screwdriver, since it fit the standard pre-drilled holes perfectly. The push-button lock on the interior engages with a satisfying, quiet click and pops open easily when you turn the interior handle or use the exterior emergency release slot. My only minor advice during install is to be mindful when tightening the faceplate screws so your screwdriver doesn't slip and scuff the matte coating. Overall, it's a sturdy, good-looking privacy handle that gave the room a quick, modern refresh.

The black and brushed-gold combination gives this door knob a stylish, modern look without making it feel like the door is trying too hard to impress everyone in the hallway. The design is sleek enough to work with a variety of interior styles, whether your home leans modern, traditional, or “I’m still deciding what my decorating style is.”The knob has a solid feel and a satisfying amount of weight, so it doesn’t seem flimsy or cheaply made. I especially like the smooth ring detail around the handle, which adds a polished touch and makes the whole piece look more upscale. The matte-black finish is clean and understated, while the gold accent adds just enough contrast without becoming overly flashy. The push-button privacy lock is simple and convenient. It’s especially useful for bedroom or bathroom doors because there’s no need to keep track of a tiny key that will inevitably disappear into the mysterious dimension where missing socks live. The locking mechanism works smoothly and provides good privacy, while the knob itself turns easily and feels comfortable in your hand.Installation was fairly straightforward, and the parts fit together nicely without requiring a full engineering degree or an emotional support toolbox. Once installed, the knob felt sturdy and secure enough for everyday use. It opens and closes smoothly, and the overall construction gives the impression that it should hold up well over time. This door knob would be an especially good choice for homeowners, renters, or anyone updating several interior doors and wanting a coordinated look without spending a fortune on overly decorative hardware. It’s a practical upgrade for bedrooms, bathrooms, guest rooms, offices, or any interior space that needs a privacy lock and a little style boost. It would also work well for anyone replacing outdated or mismatched knobs and looking for something that feels more polished without being difficult to install.Overall, this is a great-looking door knob that combines style, quality, and practicality. The black and brushed-gold finish adds personality, the design feels modern, and the functionality is exactly what you want from an interior door handle. It’s attractive, comfortable to use, easy to install, and sturdy enough to survive the daily traffic of a busy household. If you want an affordable way to refresh your doors while adding reliable privacy for bedrooms or bathrooms, this is a strong choice.

I havent used any of the Knobwell products before this is my first door handle from them but I love the additional accent on the handle like the lever part is inserted into the base, its a cool design feature instead of a straight round handle. I have gotten a few different types of black modern door handles and this is in my top 2 favorites, the design just look clean and minimalist. also the extended base plate looks way more modern. I have been looking at door handles for well over 6 months trying to find a minimal and modern design that would look sleek and bring the renovation to a more modern look. All the handles at the store look generic or overpriced for the nicer options. The good - pros- material is solid and built pretty well, the coating looks so good and gives it the modern look i was after with out drawing too much attention, the color is perfect and goes will with other accessories, the opperation and comfort are decent nothing extremely memorable just normal use, the fitment was good for the most part you may have to make adjustment on depending on what you had in there before. so far ive been using them 2 weeks and no durability issue yet, these are worth every penny as long as you arent trying to use these at a business or have children that like to hang from the door handles.

At this point I think I’m going to have enough different door knobs for every door in Texas. 😂😂But THIS one really is pretty.I've been ordering different ones for our new build because I've already established that I refuse to have every door in the house wearing the same hardware. But did I mention that this one is really pretty!? The combination of matte black and brushed gold is what makes it different from all the solid black ones I've ordered. The gold is just around the center of the knob, so it's not a giant piece of shiny gold hardware screaming “look at me”.It's also heavy and solid when you pick it up, and the knob turns smoothly. The push-button lock is simple - push it to lock the door and turning the knob from inside releases it.I'm going to have to start labeling these boxes with which room gets which knob, because at this point even I can't remember what I've ordered. 😂

Installation is about as straight forward as it gets, you really shouldn't even need instructions. There are only six screws total, two longest screws for holding both sides of the handle bases together and 4 short screws, 2 for the latch plate on the door and 2 for the striker plate on the frame, so if you're replacing an existing knob it should only take a few minutes with a screwdriver , even faster with a cordless drill/driver with a #2 phillips bit.The fit, finish and quality are top notch , these handles are SOLID and not a thin hollow tubing like a lot of cheaper door handle sets and feel like they're built to actually last instead of just built to look good. All in, this is a really solid door handle set, it's an easy install, feels well made and is a noticeable upgrade finished off with a very nice satin black finish that looks great

I am considering latch style handles for use throughout the house. My husband and I are getting up in years and finding the round door knobs challenging to open. With handles, which I put throughout my 94 yo parents' home as they aged in place, they were able to use their hands, wrists, or elbows as their abilities required. It was also convenient for us as we often had grocery bags, or laundry baskets or medical supplies in our hands and the handles allowed us to open them without using our hands. Now that it is our turn we want to sample handles to find the best and easiest for us in our home. This Knobwell handle is not only beautiful but made well and nicely priced. It is smooth with no sharp points to hurt our hands when we grip it. However, it is wide enough for us to use our wrist or elbow, as necessary, to gain access by applying slight pressure downward to open the door. The button lock takes just a little push to lock, which is easier for us than the twist locks as those can cause discomfort or pain in our wrists or fingers (arthritis, neuropathy, carpal tunnel). To unlock the door all we need do is push down on the handle and it unlocks. As occasionally happened with my father, if he fell in the bathroom, we were able to open the door with the emergency lock on the outside of the door. This Knobwell handle also has that feature, which is exceedingly important when one has children or anyone with challenges. I had to kick a bathroom door open when my 4 yo locked the door after I began the bathtub and I was shooing away a cat. That was a costly replacement. I couldn't find the little gold special key to unlock that door and time was of the essence.Specifically our bathroom renovations begin this fall and they are in the brass and black hardware tones. This handle is covering both of those tones and is very lovely. The gold adds interest to a solid black handle. While it appears easy to install, since our contractor will be handling the renovations, installing this along with everything else will be on him. With his blessing we will then have him install the rest throughout the house to elevate the beauty and elegance in every room.
