This is a great looking, full-featured lamp that is incredibly simple to install if you have a existing 3in post. The settings range from fairly sensitive motion to simple day/night cycle. It has good styling and appearance, even up close, and so far has been reliably waterproof.My only word of warning is that it's a slightly off-black tint, so it looks a little out of place if you're installing it on a brand new black post. It makes for a better replacement on a post that already has a little natural weathering.

I love this outdoor post light. The motion sensor adds a great sense of security, installation was easy, and it looks fantastic. It was the perfect replacement for my dated light, and the price was right.

The post light is simple and handsome in appearance. I like the square design, pyramidal cap and paned glass panels. I also like the aluminum construction. I feel like it will last outdoors.I have a love-hate relationship with electronics and usually avoid them. In this case, it is a necessity as I do not want to leave the light on all night, but need it to come on when I come or go at night, or let the dog out. With the shorter days of winter coming, this light will be very necessary soon.The light has adjustable sensitivity and adjustable time of operation. The knobs are on the base. They are black-on-black which looks attractive, but I have to use my cell phone as a magnifying glass to see the print. I literally cannot make heads or tails of it without help. You can set the light to "dusk to dawn" operation or varying sensitivity and time.I assumed it sensed motion, but it does not. It senses heat. You will need to be careful that it is not installed near a dryer vent, automobile traffic, or anything else warm enough to trigger the sensor. If not, it may drive you crazy. Also, if you use the dusk to dawn feature, it could be affected by too much shade or direct light. So careful placement is a concern. And since you need to install this on an already wired post or column, you may already have a challenging operation scenario. Most people who do not avoid electronics are probably aware of all of this, but I was not so I wanted to mention it.Also, if you are installing this on anything other than a 3" post (like a column), you will need a pedestal base for post lights. It must be purchased separately.It comes with good instructions and is mostly assembled. The packaging is very protective and the overall quality is very good. For me, there is just a learning curve over the electronic features.

I really like this outdoor post light! The black design is sleek and modern while still having that classic lantern look, so it instantly makes the outside of the house look more polished and put together.The 360° motion detection is one of my favorite features. I love having extra lighting automatically come on when someone approaches, especially around the yard or driveway at night. The dusk-to-dawn feature is also super convenient because I don't have to constantly remember to turn the light on and off.It feels sturdy and well-made, and I appreciate that it's designed to withstand outdoor weather without rusting. Once installed, it looks much more expensive than I expected.If you're looking to upgrade your outdoor lighting while also adding some extra visibility around your home at night, this is a great option. I live on a larger property in the middle of the woods and most of it does not have hardwired outdoor lighting. However, my driveway does have wired post lights installed which came installed when I bought the house a few decades ago. A few of them still work perfectly fine but most of them have damaged sockets after their glass panels cracked over the years and allowed moisture inside. Since replacing outdoor hardwired light fixtures is somewhat of a difficult task, I wanted to make sure I ordered a well-made product before committing to the installation. So, prior to ordering, I checked out the Yisuro storefront on Amazon and noticed that they specialize in lighting products. And all of their fixtures have strong ratings and positive reviews, which gave me the confidence to order this post light.The light seems to be very well-made. The black aluminum metal feels durable and clearly made for harsh outdoor weather. And the glass panels are much thicker than my current post lights. And the overall look of the black finish and glass panels looks great.Most importantly all of the light’s features worked perfectly. There are 4 different light modes to choose from. And I tested them all out. I went with the last mode, which is the always on mode. This turns the light into a regular light without any of the sensors activated. So, you simply turn on the switch to turn it on and turn off the power switch to turn it off. Since the rest of my working light posts are not dusk to dawn or motion activated, this light mode made most sense for my setup. Another nice feature is that the light can be fully rotated, so after you screw and install the light, its position is not permanent and you can simply change its angle by rotating it.I am so glad I ordered this light post, which ended up being great quality. I will now slowly start to buy more of these same light posts to replace the rest of my light posts to match this one. That’s how good of a quality light it is. And it’s a great value at its current list price.

My wired 3” post D2D light was old and tired. It lasted well over 30 years but was beginning to disintegrate. When I saw this replacement unit available through the Amazon Vine Program, I ordered one for review.What you get:1 x Black classic 3” post lantern with 3 Phillips head machine screws, Model: 0515-PT-SE1 x Hardware kit (finial, threaded tube, sealing washer, flat washer, nut, 2 top cover screws, 3 wire nuts)1 x Assembly instructionsThis is an attractive black aluminum die-cast post lamp fixture with a glass 6 panel per face design. The lamp cover comes with a top cover and a finial that requires assembly. I’m not sure why it isn’t one piece or pre-assembled.Installation:The installation is relatively easy with only three wire connections to make: Line (black), Neutral (white), and Ground (bare copper). It took about 20 minutes to remove the old fixture and install the new one. I would recommend assembling the fixture with light bulb and cap so you don’t have to risk losing the two small cap screws. I wish these were “captured” screws to make bulb changes worry free. The three post screws were pre-installed in the collar and needed to be loosened slightly to slide the collar over the top of the post. Sequential tightening one turn at a time will keep the fixture centered. I would caution not to over torque the mounting screws as you can easily deform the mounting collar.Controls:There are two control knobs built into the mounting collar below the lamp and you can mount the lamp in an orientation that makes the controls less visible or enhances accessibility. I chose to hide them because in my application they shouldn’t need adjusting. It can be used as a motion sensing security light or a dawn to dusk light. In my case, the original lamp post had a dawn to dusk sensor built in, so I chose to use the light in manual mode. This would be the same mode for using a wall switch. If my dawn to dusk sensor ever fails, I can use the lamps built in sensor. I love the flexibility this light offers. I also love that it uses E26 LED, CFL, incandescent, or halogen bulbs (<100W) which are readily available just about anywhere in the US. This was a definite upgrade to my existing fixture.
