These bulbs are nice. I like that it comes with 4 of them which is a good value. Good brand namE. Colors are vibrant and bright. What I dont like is getting it set up. I had to delay setting them up because the constant flashing while the bulb paired with the Bluetooth sent one of my friends into an instant seizure. So please take note of epileptic.

These lights provide a high quality color and brightness. They can be used as a basic white light, but can also provide excellent mood lighting. There are dozens of options for programming color combinations.Setting up took me a while. I struggled when trying to connect multiple lights back to back. I followed the directions about having the lights close to the router during set up but I still struggled to connect more than one bulb to my phone. I gave up for a while. When I tried again, I only plugged in one bulb at a time, connected them individually to the app. This worked much better! The bulbs also "remember" the last setting you had them on which is convenient for setting up your ambient or accent lighting without needing to launch the app every time you turn on the lights. I wasn't able to figure out how to link multiple lights together so that when I changed the settings on one it reflects on all of them. I'm sure with a little more time on the app I can figure it out. Overall, these lights can be very fun once setup, but a little frustrating during setup. The price seems appropriate for the quality. I'm unsure of the price options for buying single replacementw, but I will consider replacing them with the same brand when the time comes, especially if I can figure something out how to link them!

These are simple, lightweight smart bulbs that were easy to set up. I connected them through the Tuya app with no issues, and pairing was fast. One setup tip with these and most smart bulbs: connect them to the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi band, not the 5 GHz band. A lot of smart home devices work better that way, and some will not pair correctly on 5 GHz. If you are not sure how to separate or select the 2.4 GHz network on your router, look it up on YouTube. It is worth learning, because you will want most of these smart bulbs, plugs, cameras, and similar devices on the 2.4 GHz channel.The app control works well for changing colors, adjusting brightness, and switching between warm and cool white. The color options are fun, especially for accent lighting, holiday colors, or just changing the mood of a room. They are not complicated to use once paired, and the response time from the app has been good.The bulbs themselves feel lightweight, but they worked fine and did what I expected. Brightness is good for a standard A19 bulb, and they fit normal fixtures without any trouble.Overall, these are easy-to-use smart bulbs with quick pairing, good app control, and plenty of lighting options.

These 4 pack smart LED bulbs are great for those that use voice control to manage their appliances. I used to be one of those but have since minimized those controls; so I saw that these could/can be used with or without that voice option.So....I was willing to check these out on a non complicated bulb--a screw it in and manage through their app only.So my struggle consisted of issues with connectivity between the bulb and the app. Downloaded the app and it kept giving me a qr code to scan--which I did but would not link up. After much time spent, I had to force close the app and turn off/on my wifi, same with my blue-tooth then reenter the app and retry again. The bulb finally appeared and I was able to link it and manage it through my phone. I can't imagine the headache of linking more than one bulb to this app, and did not try other than one.After all that hassle and time, I was able to see all the lighting options which was nice. The scenes you can automatically set with one click. Color changing, flashing to music, etc....Not bad after the headache of linking the bulb.It seems a lot of people with the voice controls have little to no issues with these, so be aware if you are just going through the app--you are going to have to troubleshoot considerably before getting these working. Once that is done they seem to work fine--still it shouldn't be that hard to work with as a "plug n play" type item--hence the 3 stars. It seems these are more favorable for those with voice control options, I just wish they wouldn't be so selective with their quality geared to those with home control devices; Not everyone chooses or uses Alexa/google.This is my honest opinion of an acquired vine product.

So Monster usually is known for having really nice HDMI cables, so when we saw that they came out with these multicolored smart bulbs, we definitely wanted to try these. (We have also used several other brands of smart bulbs before, so we were excited to see how these compare to the ones we have tried, as we are always on the hunt for bulbs with a lot of features.)We were actually impressed with all the details with this product presentation…everything you need to get started is here. (We also had to laugh because there is a label on it that looks like a nutrition label, and really found that super funny…a fun, yet unexpected detail letting you know that you are about to try a product that will surprise you in new ways…and this definitely did that for us!)So with these, you get 4 bulbs, which are 800 lumens, which is equivalent to 60 watts. There are 16 million color options! Because of having so many color choices, you can easily change colors for the seasons, or to create that “perfect relaxing ambiance” mood lighting.The Monster app is available to download through both the App Store and Google Play Store. The QR code you need is on the exterior of the carton, and you can scan it easily to access the downloadable app. As soon as I scanned it, my Android phone connected directly to the app. Took less than a second to scan the code, and less than a minute to download. So easy! (But if you need help navigating setup or need customer support, there is a number provided so you can get that extra help.) These bulbs work with Matter, Google Home, and Alexa…perfect if you use any of those eco systems.Once downloaded as a first time user you need to set up an account. So you just add your email, set up a password, add first and last name, and agree to the privacy policy and terms of service. Then you get an email confirmation that you need to approve, and check that you want to receive notifications allow Monster to send them, which you will want, because you want to use your new bulbs and all its awesome features!When everything is all set up, you get to the screen where you add your device. There is a red button to press with a plus on it that says “add device”. So just install the bulb where you plan to set it up. It needs to be able to connect with your 2.4 ghz wifi. (If you want to integrate it with Alexa so far as we can tell, you need to go through Matter.) To work with Alexa, you need to scan the QR code on the bulb to connect it, so you have to be sure to scan it prior to plugging the bulb in the socket, otherwise you need to type the code in manually.We did notice some latency when trying to interact with the Monster app, even when close to your wi-fi source so be sure you have good wifi connectivity wherever you install it, but feel future updates could resolve that. Once you have installed your bulb, you can go into your app to add it as a device.Specifically the app has some unique and advanced features we haven’t seen in any other smart bulb apps we have tried, making these a great value. You get a wheel to more precisely to control the color saturation, brightness and intensity…absolutely love this. (This is actually one of my favorite features because it is so easy to use!)You can change the “scene”, which is kind of a preset you can choose, they include “night”, “read”, “work”, “leisure”, “soft”, which would be the functional settings you would use more frequently while “colorful”, “dazzling”, “gorgeous” is more about mood and fun. There are more scenes you can discover in the “scene library”, so you can use them, by accesssing the scene library tab. (It would be nice if you could select those and import them for easier access…we weren’t able to find a way for this to happen.)Additional scenes you can choose are “good night”, “ocean”, “sunflower”, “grassland”, “dazzling”, “forest”, “dream”, “birthday”, “wedding anniversary”, “Halloween”, “Christmas”, “jump”, “breathing”, “step change”, and “rhythmic breathing”. These are all fun to explore and can be useful for themed lighting. (We are thinking with that they might add even more fun lighting scenes with future app updates.)This bulb also has integration with Razer Chroma, which could allow you to have your RGB gaming peripherals sync colors with games or devices with specific colors. Definitely, worth pointing out because not a feature we have seen on typical smart bulbs. The bulbs have some different features including the ability to sync with music, utilizing your phone microphone. You can also create your own, “static” (one color), “flash” switches between colors, and “breathe” kind of transitions between colors. You can just set the colors you want within these settings. IN A NUTSHELL:These budget RGB smart bulbs surprised me. The listing and manual say you need the Monster Lighting app, but I was able to add them directly through my Smart Life app thanks to their Tuya‑based firmware. Once added, I had full access to tunable white (2700K–6500K), RGB color control, brightness modes, scenes, music‑reactive lighting, rhythms, and scheduling. They also linked to Google Home automatically and work with “Hey Google” as advertised. At $20 for 4 bulbs, they’re a solid value — and you don’t actually need the Monster app at all if you’re already using Smart Life or another Tuya‑based app.FULL REVIEW:At $20 for 4 bulbs, the value is solid, especially for full RGB bulbs with tunable white and dimming. I wasn’t thrilled about having to install another app just to use basic features, especially after seeing the Monster app’s 2.6 rating in the Play Store and the recent negative reviews after their app overhaul.On a fluke, I tried adding the bulbs directly through Smart Life. Low and behold, it worked — likely because Monster uses Tuya‑based firmware, which SL recognizes.
