I got this light to go on the outside of a door that's otherwise always in a dark spot. Installation was easy. I use it on the "always on" setting, and just use a smart bulb to control the auto dimming since it can vary when it actually needs to dim.Build quality is good; on par with those I've gotten from the big box stores. Price is a bit higher than I'd like, but as long as the light holds up over time, I'm fine with it.

The first mode, the manufacturer's auto-dim mode, keeps the light at 30 to 70% brightness all night and lights up to full brightness when motion is detected. The second mode is called auto-off mode. The light will remain off at night and turn to full brightness when motion is detected. The third modality is called manual override mode, which makes sure the fixture stays on at full brightness all night long. The motion-sensing range of the light is 220° and up to 40 feet.What are the nice features of this light?
