This is a set of 2 fence repair post stakes. This is very easy to do as you just line it up to your leaning post. Pull the post next to it, step on it or use a rubber mallet to put the stake in the ground and drill the repair post to your leaning fence post to upright it. This item has serrated blades at the bottom, so it grips into the soil much better than some of the smoother repair stakes. I find that these are extremely easy to use and provide a lot of stability. These are extremely functional and easy to use with vinyl fencing, as well as wood. Overall, if you experience high winds and rain that cause some of your fence post to lean a little this will force them upright and give them better stability for the next storm. Overall, a good value for the money.

I picked up this fence post repair kit after one of my wooden posts started leaning so badly it looked like it was about to snap. This set turned out to be a lifesaver. The thick wavy anchor spikes bite into the ground really well, and once everything was hammered in and tightened, the post felt solid again — no wobble, no tilt, just stable. What I liked most is that it’s a true quick fix. No digging, no concrete, no replacing the whole post. The metal is heavy-duty and doesn’t flex, even when you’re driving it into tougher soil. The stakes lock everything in place, and the one‑piece design makes it feel stronger than the multi‑part kits I’ve tried before. If you have older fence posts starting to lean or shift, this kit is a reliable, sturdy solution that saves time, money, and a whole lot of frustration.

I purchased the POSTYBAY Heavy Duty Fence Post Repair Kit to fix a fence post that had become loose and started leaning over time. I wanted a solution that did not require completely removing and replacing the existing post, and this repair kit provided a much easier and more affordable option. The construction quality is one of the first things I noticed. The steel anchors feel heavy-duty and sturdy, not like a thin piece of metal that could bend easily during installation. The thick carbon steel design gives confidence that the repair will hold up against weather, wind, and normal outdoor stress. The one-piece design is a major advantage. Instead of dealing with multiple brackets and complicated parts, the anchor is straightforward to install. The pointed end helps drive it into the ground, and the wavy design provides additional grip once it is buried. This makes the repair process much faster compared to digging out an old post and pouring new concrete.Installation was fairly simple with the right tools. After positioning the anchor next to the existing fence post, it can be driven into the ground and secured to the post with screws. It is important to take your time and make sure the anchor is properly aligned before fastening everything together. Once installed, it provides strong support and helps stabilize a previously wobbly post.I like that this product can extend the life of an existing fence instead of forcing you to replace an entire post. For homeowners dealing with a leaning mailbox post, fence section, garden structure, or similar outdoor project, this can save both time and money. The size and design are practical for common residential fence repairs. The buried depth provides good stability, and the L-shaped support helps resist movement better than simple straight stakes. It feels like a product designed for real outdoor use rather than a temporary fix. After installation, the repaired post felt much more secure and stable. The anchor has held up well, and I appreciate that it can be installed without major landscaping work or digging a large hole.My only recommendation is to make sure you have the proper tools available before starting. Driving a heavy-duty steel anchor into firm or rocky soil can require some effort, and installation will be easier with preparation. Also, extremely damaged or completely rotten posts may still require replacement.Overall, the POSTYBAY Fence Post Repair Kit is a solid solution for repairing loose or leaning fence posts. The heavy-duty steel construction, simple installation, and ability to reinforce existing posts make it a practical choice for homeowners looking for a cost-effective fence repair option.

These are shorter than others I've used (the amount of metal both below and above ground). I don't know long-term if that matters enough, but the good thing is you do get these for a few bucks cheaper than the others per brace. These seem pretty durable, and I think the welding job on these is better than some others I've used. They're square and that attention to detail is important, especially when you're trying to keep a post plumb.I don't see these being able to do anything much larger than a 4x4 post (and not much taller than say 6 ft), so keep that in mind for what you'd use these for. These are pretty self-explanatory on how to use, but the instructions are also decent for something like this. Also the owner included direct contact info, which I thought was a nice gesture. The photos used in the description depict the lag bolts completely different than what you get, and the drill picture looks completely fake/nonsensical. Granted, it's pretty standard these days, unfortunately, given what happens when you let AI draw your photos for you vs. using real pictures.Overall these are good value for what they offer and can provide for you.

I've had problems with several of my fence posts loosening up with the strong spring winds in this area. Last year, I used a different brand of fence post repair kit, and it seemed to work okay to fix one wobbly post. Over the last year, several other posts have started wobbling, and I thought I'd give this fence post repair kit a try.One of the nice things about this kit is that the bracket is all one piece, with top and bottom welded together, and the whole thing powder coated. There is no need to connect multiple pieces and bolt them together before use.The included instruction sheet has text and email contact info if you need help. I didn't need to use them, as the installation process is pretty straight forward. However, since the distance between the part screwed to the fence post and the ground spike is fixed (in this case, at 3 inches/7.6cm), it's important to make sure you have enough clearance to get past any existing concrete at the base of your post. The first post I repaired with this worked perfectly. I propped up the fence to vertical, placed the bracket against the post, and hammered it into the ground with a heavy hammer. After driving the stake portion into the ground, I used the included 4 wood screws and driver bit and attached the bracket to the fence post. Total repair time was under 5 minutes, and that post felt solid once more. However, when I tried to fix the second wobbling post, I discovered that the concrete footing extended more than the 3 inch offset of the repair bracket, and the bottom stake portion of the bracket team into the concrete “blob” halfway down.Evidently, when that post was installed, the hole was dug too wide, so the post was not set correctly (not enough depth of concrete given the width of the hole. I'll either have to attach another piece of wood to the post first, so the bracket can extend past the concrete, or I'll need to find a bracket with a greater distance between the stake and the post attachment. So, it's a solid and well built product, but you'll want to check with a piece of rebar or rod to make sure you'll be able to get past any underground obstacles when driving in the stake. As a reminder, the distance from post to stake is 3 inches / 7.6cm. Check before you start hammering!Actual rating: 5

This is an effective tool to repair any leaning posts. It is designed to work with wood posts. The old farmer trick is to drive a steel post into the ground next to the leaning post and use wire to tie the two together to straighten and strengthen the original post. This repair kit is a more elegant and professional looking solution than the farmer's method. It is nearly as easy to install as well. Simply position it next to the post you need to straighten and ideally use a level to get it positioned correctly. Then simply pound it into the soil at the provided flat plate area and then use the provided screws to screw the top portion into the post. They even provide the custom drill bit for your power drill to that fits the screw heads. Of course how effective this will be depends on how firm your soil is. This could be a fix that lasts a little bit or a long time (again depending on your soil). The best long-term "fix" is digging out around teh post and pouring cement down the hole to give it a more solid base. The stakes are sufficiently long to be effective with 14.5 inches that go into the ground and 16 inches above the ground to screw into the post. What you receive in the repair kit is two stakes, a bag of eight screws (four per stake/post) and one driver for the screws. The instructions include a helpful e-mail address or international phone number you can use if you need more information or have any questions.Overall an effective solution to straighten a couple of wayward posts.

Dealing with tilted, wobbly, or rotted wooden fence posts usually means facing a back-breaking weekend project involving digging out old concrete footings, pulling down sections of fencing, and pouring new material. This POSTYBAY heavy-duty fence post repair kit completely eliminates that frustrating, exhausting process, providing an incredibly fast, rugged, and permanent reinforcing anchor. Why This Fence Post Repair Kit Excels:Heavy-Duty Q235B Carbon Steel Build: The structural rigidity of these brackets is outstanding. Formed from thickened Q235B steel with a clean black defensive finish, they are engineered to take heavy sledgehammer blows without bending or deforming. The thick gauge provides massive load-bearing capacity and easily stands up to high winds and seasonal ground shifting.Smart L-Shape One-Piece Structure: Unlike flimsy straight metal stakes that wobble or lean under lateral pressure, the unique one-piece L-shape profile fits snugly against the corners of conventional wooden posts. The sharp, tapered tip is specifically designed to bypass existing underground concrete footings seamlessly, driving down clean right where the reinforcement is needed most.Innovative Wavy Base Design: The bottom section features a clever, thickened wavy anchor layout. This profile significantly increases the friction and surface area contact within the soil, anchoring a full 14.5 inches deep to create an uncompromising, wiggle-free grip that stabilizes tilted posts instantly.Fast, Dig-Free Installation: The efficiency of this repair kit is incredible. You simply place the bracket against the damaged post, drive it into the ground with a hammer, and secure it tightly with heavy-duty screws. It saves an immense amount of time, labor, and maintenance expenses by letting you salvage your existing fence line in under 20 minutes per post.Highly Versatile Outdoor Utility: While perfect for stabilizing perimeter privacy fences, the 30-inch total height and heavy spec layout make these spikes incredibly useful for reinforcing mailboxes, pergolas, garden trellises, and agricultural fencing across yards, farms, and estates. The welds are clean, the powder coating handles soil moisture beautifully to prevent premature rust, and the physical stability it brings back to a rotted post is impressive.
