Round disc lights are very popular these days, and this is a large one for large spaces. It's a very powerful light and will fill the space beneath it without a problem, but if you don't have high ceilings, you may be disappointed in that it doesn't have the widest angle. Installation is made generally easy with the plastic bracket, but I'm concerned at the quality - how long will the bracket last before becoming brittle and dropping the light. Getting the wiring pushed into place, keeping it connected, while getting the fixture affixed on the bracket isn't the easiest in the world. The light is very thin and easily blends into the decor. The color temperature is selectable only at time of install -- you have to take it down to change the color temp, so spend some time figuring which color you want before you go through the hassle of finishing the fixture. No remote control is included. From an overall value standpoint, it's an average price for its size.

Nice and bright, adjustable color temperature. Simple design, just a round disk with a thin ring around the edge. The entire profile is less than an inch thick.Not dimmable nor is it rated to be dimmable, so factor that into your decision to purchase if dimmable is desired.Here's the issues as I see it...Plastic construction, for a light this large and with the amount of weight it has, you are pushing past the limitations of acceptable size. Despite the thin profile, once you mount it on the ceiling, the weight of the light fixture pulls it down away from the ceiling. The design already has the edges formed to be away from the edge of the ceiling and the weak design adds on to the issue.ETL listed, or so it says. I have reviewed many light fixtures, and seen many that meet UL standards and those that don't. I am not an expert on what the UL standards are, I question the plastic base design, as long as it would meet the minimum fire resistance I figure it can be used. I am going to call foul on the ETL listing claim here. (It is possible that the internal LED circuits are ETL listed?? But code requires that the entire fixture be certified.) Additionally, the included wire nuts are not UL or ETL listed, I've checked, and virtually always a UL or ETL listed product has certified parts for the entire fixture.My take... lots of light, but also quite a few issues. I always knock a star off for a lack of UL or ETL listing, and an additional star for falsely claiming to have one.Not recommended!

We are super pleased with this large LED slim light fixture and how it fully illuminates half of our basement. We chose the natural light setting, which seems to illuminate colors most accurately. The daylight setting was way too blue and the warm setting was way too yellow at night. The natural light setting was just right for us.I love how slim this light is - it almost looks fully recessed. And the light is equally bright through the circle. This light is really bright, but it’s what we needed in this space where we often do craft or school projects. The ceiling is low and we didn’t like our previous fixture that hung down and accentuated the low ceiling. This fixture is modern and unassuming.Installation was straightforward and easy for my husband. There were no issues and he was pleased with the quality of the fixture. We are happy with this light and feel like it’s a great value for the price.

The previous light looked fine, but there simply wasn’t enough illumination for the space.This light delivers big. At 3,900 lumens, I can finally see every counter and work area clearly. The difference is substantial, and it provides the kind of bright, useful lighting I wanted in a kitchen.I also like having three color-temperature choices so I could select the white that works best in the room. The extremely low-profile design is another big plus. It sits close to the ceiling and is perfect for my kitchen without making the fixture itself the center of attention. It was easy to install. Usually I install such things by myself. This light’s hook used while installing to hold the light is small so I had someone hold it as I connected the wires.For me, this solved the problem the previous fixture couldn’t: plenty of good, usable light throughout the kitchen.

As a landlord, I’ve lost count of how many LED disk lights I’ve installed. There isn’t much difference between one vs the other except for a few important details. The hardest part about installing these lights is how slim they are. You need to be able to get the wiring shoved back into the electrical box and the light screwed into the mounting bracket without undoing the wiring connections. This is harder than you think. One feature that makes this easier is the hanging bracket. This gives you a free hand to shove the wires in. Unfortunately, the hole in the middle of the bracket on this particular fixture is comically small. I’ve installed dozens of similar lights in the last few years and I’ve never seen a hole this small. Of course, when twisting the fixture into place, it came undone on me. This was a job I was definitely sweating once I got done.The temp color is controlled on the backside. This is no different than all the other ones on the market. However, my normal favorite is 3K. For whatever reason, this is different than all the other 3K colors in all my other lights. It’s much warmer. Unfortunately, I didn’t discover this until it was already installed. Considering the trouble I had keeping the wiring together during the install, I have no intention of fixing it anytime soon.At the time of my review, this light was listed at $40 for one after coupon. That feels a bit pricy in my opinion especially considering all the troubles during installation.

I ordered this ROVEXO 19.3-inch flush mount ceiling light because I wanted something modern and low profile that would provide plenty of light without hanging down from the ceiling, and it has been a really nice upgrade. The first thing that stood out to me is how incredibly thin the fixture is. At just under an inch thick, it sits very close to the ceiling and has a clean, almost built-in appearance. This makes it particularly well suited for rooms with lower ceilings where a traditional hanging fixture or bulky ceiling light would feel out of place. The black finish gives it a contemporary look that works especially well with modern, minimalist, and slightly industrial decor, and the simple round shape keeps it from looking overly complicated or decorative. One of my favorite features is the three color-temperature settings. There is a selector on the back of the fixture that allows you to choose between 3000K warm white, 4500K natural white, and 6500K cool daylight before installation. I really like having these options because the same light can create completely different atmospheres depending on the room and what I’m doing. The 3000K setting gives the room a warmer and more relaxed appearance, while 4500K provides a more neutral everyday light. The 6500K setting is much brighter and cooler and works particularly well when I want a crisp, daylight-like appearance. Having the selector on the fixture also means there is no complicated programming or app required. The brightness is another major advantage. At 46 watts and rated at 3900 lumens, this light produces a substantial amount of illumination. It doesn’t have the dim, concentrated appearance that some flat LED fixtures can have. Instead, the light is distributed broadly and evenly across the room, which makes it useful for larger spaces as well as bedrooms. The illumination is bright without feeling harsh, and I haven’t noticed an obvious hot spot in the center with significantly darker areas around the edges. I appreciate the high CRI rating as well because colors look reasonably natural under the light rather than having the washed-out appearance that some inexpensive LEDs can produce. Another thing I like is the lack of glare. Even though the fixture produces a lot of light, the diffuser helps spread it out rather than directing an uncomfortable beam straight into your eyes. The sealed design is also a nice practical feature because it helps keep dust and small particles from getting inside the fixture. That should make it easier to keep looking clean over time and is particularly useful in rooms where dust can accumulate. Installation was straightforward once I had the fixture positioned and the wiring ready. The universal-style mounting base is designed to work with common junction boxes, and the included hardware and instructions make the process fairly simple. Because the fixture is lightweight and flat, it doesn’t have the awkward balance that you sometimes get with larger ceiling lights during installation. Once mounted, it has a very clean appearance with no unnecessary bulk. Energy efficiency is another reason I like this type of LED fixture.
