this is a very nice lamp. but i think the value for the money isnt quite there, a bit overpriced to me. the quality is all there definitely just a little too expensive but im sure its because it seems to be actual solid walnut. usually you see a good lamination job on a cheaper wood inside. its got weight to it so it feels really durable and made of good quality. the look is beautiful being walnut which just naturally gets peoples eyes. the wood is all consistent without and tool marks and sanding marks or carpentry marks of any kind. everything screwed together seamlessly you would have to know where they connected in order to see it. the brightness dpends on what you light for bulbs, it doesnt come with any but it fits any kind it looks like. its nice and tall and the shade is pretty wide so it makes its own statement in a corner and glows an entire room nicely. overall great quality but maybe compare a few prices first.

This is a beautiful lamp that will enhance your mid-century style. The construction and materials used are top notch and well finished. The lamp works well and should be able to last a long time. The shade is beautifully made and the green color is gorgeous.The price for this lamp is fair, especially considering that I've never found anything like this locally. A+

I bought this lamp for my reading corner, and it works perfectly. The foot switch also feels lightweight and tends to flop around instead of staying upright, which makes it a bit awkward to use.Aside from those two issues, the lamp looks great once assembled and provides excellent ambient lighting. It’s a stylish piece that complements modern and rustic décor alike...I just wish the build quality matched the design. Still, worth four stars for its aesthetic and functionality.

Very easy to assemble: three stem pieces screw together and are mounted on a solid screw-in base. A nicely executed rustic/modern design makes this floor lamp adaptable to virtually any decor. The lamp arrives with a well packed and very wide round shade. The shade does not require a filial or any hardware at all: it is held in place between two pieces of plastic mounted on the bulb socket Easy.The best aspect of the lamp is the soft light its oversize shade affords. Along with its aforementioned stem, (which is quite tall), the ultra-wide shade has the effect of toning down the harshness of many light bulbs. The result is plenty of light dispersed subtly. It gives room a certain glow that other lamps simply don't.Unfortunately, the current listing price is unrealistic in the extreme, probably three times the level it should be. It's a very good lamp, but there are myriad options that are more stylish, made of superior material, and cost much less.
